Fantastic experience: I am reading some of other people reviews and and I honestly have no idea what they're talking about, The staff where lovely, and very accommodating to the fact I only came back to Belfast after time away in another country and I someone had lifted my documents and passport - These guys liased with me, and my parents, and we were able to get everything sorted and I moved in, this was all done in the space of three days, couldnt meet nice more helpful staff, and the property I'm in is a lovely house from top to bottom. Top class, would highly reccomend.

Negative experience: Incredibly rude staff, horrendous experience. Thank goodness I avoided renting with this agency. The agent showed up more than half an hour late for my appointment and to top if off, when I complained, they laughed at me and told me that if I cared so much about my time, I was not the right candidate for the apartment. The agent called Wayne was unreasonably rude, absolute nightmare. Margaret was dishonest in her messages and didn't offer any apology for their behaviour. Avoid this agency at all costs because they have zero respect for people's time and well-being, and they will make you miss appointments by keeping you waiting for no reason.

Positive experience: I have been living at one of their ensuites since 8-9 months now. It has been a great experience. The onboarding process was very smooth and quick, and did not require any references. The room was well maintained and clean. A cleaning team also comes up to clean the kitchen every week I guess. The maintenance team is also responsive.

Negative experience: We've been renting a 5-bed house through Elite Rooms for a year now, and it has been a great experience. When we first moved in, we were impressed by how well-furnished it was - everything from the living area, which was a great hanging out space, to a fully equipped open kitchen and a spacious backyard. The property always felt clean and modern. The staff are super friendly, easy to reach and always quick to respond to any questions or resolve concerns. Edit: They will never return your deposit even if the house is returned in the same condition that you received it in.

Positive experience: The house was nice, I particularly liked how clean the kitchen and shower spaces were. The room was as advertised, had space and nice lighting. It had a nice sofa which was a nice touch. There were a couple of maintenance issues in the kitchen, but they were resolved quick enough by the maintenance team. During Autumn, the room was warm, which was good for cold nights. I was able to get in touch with the team. Jennifer and Wayne were responsive, kind and helpful when needed.

Negative experience: We rented a house from Elite Rooms last year and had an absolutely appalling experience. Upon moving in the heating and hot water were broken and remained this way for 5 days before they were finally fixed. We were told that it was working the day before we moved in to which an engineer from pheonix gas was able to tell us the gas supply had been cut off to the house over a month and a half prior to us moving in as they were unable to carry out an inspection of the meter so Elite Rooms lied to us. We had no bins for the first month living in the property and no recycling boxes which we still did not have on the day we moved out. We had a painter in to paint the communal areas of the house and any time we went downstairs he was lying up on our sofa on his phone. The main issue we had was at the end of our tenancy. We paid a £2100 deposit and of this were deducted £622 which is absolutely diabolical. Whilst I fully admit that a bed base was broken (Due to poor quality bed bases) to take £622 is just ridiculous and Elite Rooms know it. Making profit by taking the hand out of students is certainly not something I could do without hanging my head in shame but its no bother to Wayne, Claire and the rest of the guys at Elite Rooms. We did have to dispute with the TDS and got £175 back of the original £797 which they deducted however that is due to us being naive and not taking enough pictures and videos of the property both when we moved in and when we left. As I can see in other reviews Elite Rooms like to add cheeky little responses however this has been our experience with them and anyone who rents with them wont be long seeing for themselves. You'd be as well throwing your deposit up in the air on a windy day as that's the last you'll see of it!!!

Fantastic experience: My friends and I rented a 4 bedroom place with them for our final year of uni. Of the years renting with different agencies, I’d say I’m the most satisfied with them. The house was clean and properly done up when we moved in, and all move in and move out instructions were clear so no surprise fees and payments. The agents and maintenance team were friendly and very helpful with all queries, they dealt with complaints and reports urgently and swiftly which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place. Cheers to Wayne and his cheeky sticker collection as well.

Negative experience: if i could give zero stars I would. Will harass you (29 visits in a year), infantilize you with constant inspections, and then take 25% of your deposit. I would say stay clear but most estate agents in Belfast are unfortunately this bad. Raising a dispute with TDS, and anyone else I can. They've had the cheek to reply but not let me reply so let me be clear , 1) I've lived in plenty HMOs and 29 visits is not normal , it has been raised to the local MLA as well as the HMO council. 2) The house was left clean (we have evidence of every room) evidently some wear&tear can occur and there was one broken furniture, but 25% of the deposit is not normal at all (again , I have lived in HMOs before) hence us raising it with TDS. NI needs legislation that protects renters from leeches like this agency.

Fantastic experience: I moved into a three bed flat run by Elite Rooms with two friends about a year ago now. The flat was repainted and well kept for our move-in date and the price is pretty standard for a tenancy in a more central area of Belfast. The service provided by our agent Wayne has been fantastic, and he has frequently checked in with us to ensure that everything is going well in the flat. We had a couple of issues with the doors in the flat, and a gentleman from maintenance was out within the next couple of days to sort the problem which was great. All in all, the experience of renting with Elite Rooms has been very good, and I would recommend them to anybody.

Make a spare key ASAP. * We had issues with one person who brought people to live in and she took over the kitchen for herself. It was really frustrating!. We thought it would have been helpful to get more support from the house manager in a faster manner not via letters. She was eventually requested to leave. * Inspection process can be overwhelming because you're not there, so it's frightening (ps received after 3 weeks and received in full. I have not damaged anything, and I have deep clean. Please do beware that there is massive list with costs for any wear and tear and, it's part of your contract ). I reccomend to run an inspection and Take photos of everything and update with your agent and repairs. * Sometimes repairs can take a while to come up or to get a response which could be because Elite has over 100 rooms.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Elite Housing, especially with Wayne who helped me find the best accommodation suitable for me. They communicated brilliantly, with fast response times and kept me informed on any inspections or updates. The accommodation was in pristine condition, clean and tidy. I had such a great experience with Elite housing and used them when I moved back to the city a year later after being away.

Positive experience: Provided us with a high quality student accommodation in Belfast. The flat was well furbished and very cosy. It was one of the best flats in the area in my opinion. Any problems with the flat were resolved quickly. Except when leaving, they automatically will take £200 off of your deposit you initially put down. Even if the place is left in an extremely good condition as we did. I would recommend paying a company to do the same job for cheaper with proof of invoice. Low blow, especially on students.
