Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous service by Darrell in Belfast - would 100% keep in touch and recommend to my own friends and family. We were looking to rent property URGENTLY for our employees which we just hired overseas - the employees arrived in UK with no credit history and no bank account, yes complex but we were willing to be guarantors, and the employee would be on consistent payroll with FT employment. We had tried 5 different agencies in Belfast including quicklets, douglashouston etc. none gave us the friendly and dependable service which GOC did - many just ignored us and told us there's nothing they can do for us - a whole week after we enquired. Darrell understood our situation immediately and worked with us everyday until we found the right property and helped the tenants settle in. Very timely communication, very polite and very considerate. Hard to come-by with the new changes to rental market, Darrell is the one if you want to find an agent who's willing to be collaborative with the landlord and the tenant.

Negative experience: I got a bitter experience with GOC agents. There was a show home on Sunday and I looked a house and I liked it. Immediately I had asked agent I wanted to pay the deposit but he said he is not taking any deposits and he advised mail and call in the early morning 9am. I sent an email on Sunday itself offered to pay the deposit in the email. Monday morning I called at 9am and offered to pay the deposit for the home I liked. Agent said will sort out and get back to me.i also mentioned the email on Sunday itself regarding the deposit. Agent didn't even mention about the status of the house. I also confirmed with Laggan Homes also house was not booked in. But I didn't get call till 3:30pm but between 9 and 3pm I called GOC 10times no one has responded to me. At last I got call saying the home is already booked in. Upon asking GOC agents simply got the response Sorry. This was second time happened similarly.

Negative experience: DO NOT let with GOC estate agents. Easily the worst experience I have ever had with an agency. Their lack of professionalism is astonishing. From leaving issues with damp unresolved to claiming unwarranted fees at the end of our tenancy e.g. cleaning floors which were spotless and replacing keys which were cracked upon us receiving them. Perhaps most shockingly of all is their terminating the lease for my co-tenant upon my moving out - despite him wanting to remain in the property and renew the lease. If that wasn't bad enough, they then tried to come in a day before our lease was up. Thankfully, we are out the other side of our dispute in getting our money back from GOC (after four months waiting on TDS to make a decision) and no longer have to deal with them. I honestly cannot warn people against them strongly enough and, to GOC, I hope you all recognise what a crooked business you run.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished buying a house through GOC, and Kirby and her team were brilliant throughout. The process was longer than usual due to delays with the solicitors, however Kirby was great throughout at helping to get updates from the seller & his solicitor and keep it progressing, and was always on hand with quick responses whenever I emailed with any questions (even on her days off!).
