Fantastic experience: Bought and sold with Pilkingtons. Would recommend

Fantastic experience: We used them for a probate sale. They didn't put us under any pressure in what was a difficult and emotional time for us, whereas other agents we contacted were trying to put on the pressure and get the listing live straight away. When we were ready to sell, they were great handling all the viewings and then achieving a good outcome.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the services of Brian Pilkington Estate Agents, Leyland. My sale through them was made easier from start to finish by their professional service, attention to detail and keeping me informed of all stages along the way. I believe that Helen and her team go above and beyond what is expected of them in customer service, by helping to keep a flow in the loop between themselves, the buyers, sellers and solicitors. Thank you to all the staff for your help selling my property from the initial excellent marketing through to completion.

Fantastic experience: Friendly agency; cheerful and helpful telephone manner. Fantastic experience: This is the first time I've dealt with Brian Pilkington's Estate Agents. They gave the best valuation out of the other 2 Estate Agents we had round to value my dad's property and they got close to the asking price for us. After a small blip with one of the staff, which was soon rectified, I can honestly say the Team were very courteous, professional and really on the ball when it came to emailing details or a query to them. I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Valued property too low then sold it for even less . Wouldn't trust them .

Fantastic experience: I've used many Estate Agencies and I can honestly say that the team at Pilkingtons are the most professional, efficient and friendly. Amanda helped our family sell the family home, very quickly, in a caring and thorough way and her help before and during my purchase was invaluable. Can't thank or praise them all enough.

Negative experience: Been trying to get in touch with the office to view a property since 9.10am. I have left 2 messages and phoned 6 other times to no avail. It is now noon. If you have your property on sale with this firm and it hasn't sold you need to ask yourself is this why?

Fantastic experience: Bought my first house that was being sold through Pilkingtons earlier this month. Great staff, very helpful and good communication. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again for everything.

Fantastic experience: Nothing is too much trouble for Helen and her team. Her local knowledge is excellent and invaluable in helping you choose the perfect property or marketing your home. Proper personal service from local experts.

Fantastic experience: First Class service from First Class Staff all of whom are as friendly as they are efficient and effective. Will always be my go-to estate agents.

Fantastic experience: I have both bought and sold a property through Brian Pilkington Estate Agents. As a buyer I found them very honest, straightforward and helpful. There was no being pushy or being all about money (they are in many ways an antidote to the stereotype of an estate agent). They were very professional in handling the negotiation of offers. I trusted them with selling because of my positive experience as a buyer. Their rates are very fair and reasonable, and I was pleased to support a good local and independent business. I recommend their services without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Excellent as always. We have dealt with Helen and the team for many years on a number of sales and purchases and always find them helpful, friendly and professional. Their local knowledge is invaluable and we wouldn't think of going anywhere else as there is no one to match them. Our recent house sale was sold in a day - what more can be said. Thanks, Helen and the team...

Fantastic experience: Having sold a commercial property & a house through Pilkingtons, I can confirm that Helen & her team provide a fantastic service. They keep you in touch regularly with the progress of the sale & are always on hand to offer advice when needed. Would definitely use them again as their knowledge of the local market is excellent & they offer a personal level of service

Fantastic experience: Highly professional local Agency, introducing buyers to sellers, all with a friendly personable touch from Helen and her team. A can do mentality is practised here which gets results.

Fantastic experience: Just sold a house through Helen Pilkington. Excellent independent estate agents. Both Sellers and Buyers kept fully informed with relevant information and no aggressive sales calls. Friendly helpful staff with good local knowledge. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I sold my property through Brian Pilkingtons, whildst out of the country Helen was calm, practical & efficient with advice, easy to contact and reliable. acting on instructions and chasing thing with solicitors and the buyers..

Fantastic experience: We moved to Leyland in May 2017 buying a bungalow that was being sold by Pilkington Estate agents. We dealt with Helen who really assisted in a smooth process. The bungalow required a major update and Helen provided me with details of a reliable builder. 19 months later we decided to place it back on the market. We had four estate agents to include Pilkingtons to provide value estimates and explain their selling process. We decided to go with Pilkingtons. It was Helen again who we felt provided a knowledgeable overview of the market. No regrets at all as four weeks later we received a firm offer. I am not one for writing reviews. I had never heard of Pilkingtons until we moved to Leyland but to anyone considering buying in the area or selling then its a must to speak with Helen Pilkington.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend using Brian pilkington. All the staff are really friendly and super helpful. You will receive an excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service. The sale needed extensive chasing and the staff kept me fully informed.

Fantastic experience: I bought my first house through Pilkington's many years ago and have bought and sold several more through them ever since. The service and results have been exceptional each and every time. Helen's knowledge of the local (and wider) market is second to none. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Used Pilkington estate agents after trying to sell my parents' property with other agents, almost immediately it was viewed and had an offer. Helen has years of experience in buying and selling, also has a good knowledge and understanding of the area plus, she knows exactly how to talk to people especially when a seller is marketing late relatives' property. The team are very friendly and helpful, I have found that they all know more than solicitors do about timescales when conveyancing. I recommend these people if you like a bespoke service.

Fantastic experience: We chose to market our property with Brian Pilkington because they came across as 'normal' people rather than the usual aggressive sales people I'd met at other estate agents. They offered genuine and realistic advice about marketing our property and just as we'd hoped, the staff were lovely to deal with from beginning to end. We had some issues which expedited the sale of our house which caused a lot of stress, but Brian Pilkinton were extremely helpful and got things moving along a lot quicker than the solicitors. I'd definitely use them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Sold a house and bought a house through Brian Pilkington. Excellent customer service from all the staff we dealt with. Very efficient and reliable. Any queries we had was dealt with immediately. Would highly recommend using this estate agent for buying or selling your property.

Negative experience: Had dealings with this firm. Not happy at all with the way were treated. We put an offer forward for a property and then were gazumped by another party, without the opportunity of upping our offer. Baring in mind we hadnt heard back for 4 weeks to hear if our offer had been accepted. We feel that info hadnt been disclosed to us and the other party were treated with favoritism and able to put forward another offer to secure the deal, as we were not. Very cloak and dagger and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I sold my house in three days with Brian Pilkington. Very efficient sellers, especially as they will show the age of things like windows and conservatories in the listing, whilst other companies fall way behind in this, never able to answer such key questions, or if they do, it's days later! Very knowledgeable in the housing sector and able to give great advice to me as I didn't know everything. During my house buying, I experienced many other estate agents, but they did not have the same level of expertise. Commission rates were very reasonable. Would throughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, extremely friendly and helpful. I was a first time buyer and everything first seemed quite daunting, but the staff helped me through the process, answered all my questions and emails with a friendly smile! A Huge thank you to you all at Brian Pilkington, you made the process of purchasing my home become easy and stress free. Cheers all, many thanks again !

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service throughout the house buying process. Helen and her team went out of their way to help me and my family with the purchase of our first home. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: A friendly and very approachable family run estate agents. Always easy to communicate with and queries are dealt with in a timely manner. I am also happy to admit that I had absolute trust in the Brian Pilkington team! After unsucessfully trying to sell our property with several other local agents Helen and her team were highly recommended to us by friends. They managed to find the perfect buyers for our home in less than 8 weeks. Their fees are great and there are no tie in periods like with other agents. The team's local knowledge is second to none. Thanks!!!

Negative experience: Made an offer of the asking price there and then , very disappointed to find that they offered the house to a higher bidder and they didn't even ask me ! This. Company have no values !

Fantastic experience: Thank you to all the staff for making our move happen. Any queries were answered quickly. A very efficient estate agency which we highly recommend. The best in the business.

Fantastic experience: I bought a house recently that was marketed by Brian Pilkington. From the very beginning right up to completion day, Helen and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially since I'm a first time buyer. All emails were answered, all paperwork dealt with etc. Proud to have such a reliable, friendly, and more importantly, local estate agent that represents the best interest of their customers. Highly recommended!
