Negative experience: We had an extremely poor experience with Entwistle Green. The service and communication were awful. On one occasion we were even told that the vendor was angry and had been put on speakerphone so the entire office could listen. Completely unprofessional. It took countless calls (around nine in a row) just to get through to someone, and we were rarely kept updated unless it was by Maria. We were also lied to about the progress of our purchase. We were repeatedly reassured that the vendor was progressing and eager to sell, which ultimately led us to break our chain with two young children. In reality, no progress was made and when we eventually had no choice but to pull out, they didn’t even acknowledge our email until we chased them. The service was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful throughout. Strangely, they were warm and attentive at the very beginning, which makes me think if your sale is completely straightforward they may be fine but for us, it was a deeply disappointing and stressful experience.

Although we didn’t end up choosing one through Entwhistle Green, Isabella has been the most helpful agent out of all the agents we have contacted. She has been in regular contact with us and knew just what we were looking for, sending through several properties when they came on the market.

Fantastic experience: After a bad experience with a previous tenant left us dealing with loss of rent, Court and Bailiffs we felt skittish about renting our property out again. A fellow landlord recommended Abby and Entwistle Green. Abby was able to take us through the process of finding a new tenant who would be right for our property. Her rule of thumb was that if she wouldn't rent her own house to them then she wouldn't propose them as a prospective tenant for us. Fantastic experience: Hi, just a few words to highly recommend Entwistle Green, especially Abby. I have been searching for a rental property for 3 months and was beaten to the winning post so many times. Then contacting Abby on a new property to come to market in an ideal location, viewing, deposit and acceptance was extremely efficient, as was the transfer of utilities and answers to the many questions. less than 10 days from viewing to moving in, thanks Abby, I cant recommend Entwistle Green enough, what a superb team! Update as of 28/02/2025 which I am very disappointed to have to give but this is probably the only way I'm going to get any action from the agent. Well the pre-move in experience is completely opposite to post move in. Despite multiple requests for the agents inventory that includes meter readings, its taken nearly a month to receive an actual emailed copy, and then the meter reading were photograph that were not that clear, and despite some of the carpets being heavily soiled, there is no mention of this in the agents inventory. Whoever they contracted to clean the property did just a lick and a promise, leaving the cooker and ovens filthy and smelling of rancid dish water, so I have had to get a professional oven cleaner out at my own expense as the agent simply ignored any and all comments on the poor state of the property. I have repeatedly asked for recommendations for cleaners, decorators, gardeners, window cleaners, and permission to make some enhancements for 4 weeks now, and last week after yet another chase I was asked for reminders on what I had asked for because the agents representative had been out of the office and she couldn't remember what was asked for. Is there no one else there that could assist?? A week later, and still no answers or recommendations. I've also contacted the contents insurance brokers the agent arranged, only to find out that it had not been set up correctly, and I had not been made aware of some crucial information.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Louise and her team enough , ( special mention to Nicola as well ) Just so friendly and really went above and beyond to help with our house sale ( which was complicated by us being many miles from Preston ) all house sales have their ups and downs , but even on the down days Entwistle Green staff remained undaunted and cheery which really helped . Glad to say we got there in the end . We’re so glad we chose Entwistle Green to help us sell our childhood family home and hope the new buyers have as happy a time as we did growing up .

Fantastic experience: Emily was fantastic with helping us secure a great property in central Preston that had all the requirements we wanted and more! From the start she was friendly, engaging and understood what we were after. As we were moving from London she was super helpful with processing everything remotely and even picked me up from the railway station on my way to collect the property keys on moving day to save time. She was thorough and very professional!
