Fantastic experience: Highgate are simply brilliant. As an ex-tenant, I was always treated with respect and care from day one. Recently, after redirecting my mail, I noticed some letters were missing. I contacted them, and within two hours they offered to help by contacting the new tenant. Even after moving out, their support has been outstanding. A true example of excellent customer service and professionalism. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and really a waste of time dealing with this company, arranged a viewing at 10 only to see other people also waiting to see the property which the same time was given not even 15 mins apart. My wife was in to see the place and because I was not with her he got her out of the house and let the another couple in, when I got there at 10: 02 my wife was already out and he says I must wait for all the others to view first. Really disgusting service,looks like the agent really does not want to work professionally and giving time accordingly. There's plenty of other agents willing to offer assistance and deal professionally.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever, completely waste of time. Told us one time on the message and turned up another time. Completely ruined my schedule and my partners schedule. So had to waste money on Uber twice. Couldn’t even see the house properly.

They provided a fully comprehensive initial itinerary report and have since provided bi-annual inspection reports. I am regularly provided with monthly rental payment emails. Declan and Shaun have been very good with communication and support prior to putting the property on the market, and since. Fantastic experience: Had been looking at houses for months. Alex had shown us a few and didn't get accepted but he did everything he could. He passed us to Sean for a viewing since he probably wasn't in that day. Sean pushed us to get a 2 bed house and we got it. Since moving in, Alex has been an absolute gem when we have noticed a few things wrong with the house and made the necessary phone calls and emails to get it sorted. Shaun advised on the value of the rent and went up and above what could have been expected while helping me explain about repairs and rent to myself and tenants and help resolve issues. Negative experience: I have tried writing a review about a recent property me and my partner was privately rent but due to them being in the wrong they decide to delete my review numerous times and then edit it so only I can see this which is pretty unprofessional and not fair to the public. We should be able to write what ever we like if we have had a bad experience. We moved into this property March 2021, it was covered with damp by covering it with tin foil in the wardrobe and all the mould on the walls which clearly they just painted over it to hide what they have done. We had no heating since we moved in which is against the law to leave tenants with out heating, they never even tried to solve this problem or look after there tenants. My self emailed them numerous occasions which they just ignored us completely and tried to even up our rent considering we had no heating working and then our hot water had gone which again they never tried to solve the issue as high gate homes got somebody round to have a look but we never heard from nobody since. This affected mine and my partners health and mental health due to the circumstances we was living in. When we ended our tenancy due to nobody fixing our repairs they then tried to claim back on our deposit for the ‘ mould ‘ repair to paint over it which wasn’t our faults due to having no heating working. We are appalled in what they have done and do not deserve to get away with this.

Laura who did all the viewing in my house worked so hard to sell my house. Even after 5 viewing in one day she still was smiling and happy. I can’t speak highly enough about all the Highgate home team in plungington. They are all amazing. Big thank you to them all again for a great job.
