Negative experience: Never did the repairs bedroom full of damp( windoors leaking) Would not recommend then
Negative experience: After a 3 hour commute the letting agent never even turned up. Upon calling was told they would get back to me shortly but then the following day I called myself to find that the property was no longer available anyway. Very disappointed at the very unprofessional service this company claims to offer. Would give 0 stars if possible. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
Due to the fast-paced nature of the property market, we have an obligation to remove listings from the market as soon as a holding fee is paid.

Fantastic experience: All members of the team whom I met and spoke with were very professional and friendly, and on the occasion that there was some work that needed completing at the property the response was prompt. Communication was always very open when it came to any visits (i.e. boiler maintenance or the like) and the team were accommodating if plans needed to be changed due to conflicting schedules. Overall a very positive experience!
Fantastic experience: Rented from iRent for a year or two after they took over my property from the previous letting agents. Staff always friendly and understanding of any issues. Repairs usually completed within a reasonable timescale and always to a fabulous standard. I wish them all the very best in the future.

Negative experience: I am sharing my personal experience to help others make better decisions. We applied for a flat, and I loved it from the pictures and quickly booked a viewing. On viewing day, there were literally 5 other couples at the property for viewing, and we had to stay in line, reminding me of Covid lining up at Aldi. The property itself was a mile away from what they had advertised. It's like ordering an Audi online, but you get a useless Pegout! They literally cheated us by providing different pictures of a very nice property to let a rubbish one. I would never recommend this agency to anyone. I have proof for what I mentioned.
Negative experience: SCAMMER I have been in their property for around 3 and half years and always paid their rent 7 to 10 days before due date. Unfortunately they did not refund my deposit 600, saying I have damaged their property . The property had water licking problems which i reported them many times . But they did not repair it properly. Resulted weaken flood which I repaired by my own money. If some one live in a property for 3 years definitely property need a new paint .As the wash room don’t have any exhaust fan moisture was a big issue during winter . I informed them many time about paint but they didn’t do any work, they are expecting me to do new paint for them. £600 is not a big money but it is all about trust which they have broken. They are not trustworthy. We all should be stay away from them. LOL , just want to know what cleaning you done?? Here is the some photos when I handed the property key to u. Be honest man!!
We are sorry, you felt it necessary to give us some negative feedback. We had to request some of your deposit towards cleaning and redecoration. If you do not agree with our request, you can dispute it through the DPS and they will arbitrate impartially.

Alex was vey upfront with what to expect and ensured we read our Tenancy agreement and that we were happy with it before we proceeded. The flat we are renting is a great first home and I would definitely get a home through iRent again
Fantastic experience: I rented from iRent for about 3 years. Started a a single tenant and then my partner moved in - adding him onto the tenancy was a breeze. They are very responsive and helpful, any issues we had were solved in a timely manner. Would have liked to continue renting from them but they had no properties where we wanted to move. Thank you!

Negative experience: I had a worst experience with I rent,arranged a viewing,double checked with agency staff whether this holding pay is refundable as i know it wont refund most of the case,but he repeatedly saying we will refund it if you are not taking the property,and paid 100 pounds and later when i have decided not to proceed with application,they told the application been already withdrawn and they cant refund the amount and am already signed it seems,

Our terms and conditions which you signed clearly explain under what circumstances a holding fee is refundable.
(If WE reject your application, we will refund your deposit, however if YOU withdraw your application, you lose your holding fee.)
This is standard practice.
The reason for this is, is because once a holding fee has been paid we remove the property from the market.

Negative experience: Worst company ever was over half hour late when i booked viewing then was told checks will take 3-7 day then get ignored and hang phone up dont use these to rent or let them rent your property terrible

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID .I had a property with this company,never missed my rent and actually decorated the whole flat from top to bottom,free of charge,I fought him for 18 month to change the threadbare carpets that stank of urine,I also removed the previous tenants rubbish including matrressess and old tvs and clothing and disposed of them without charging you a penny,I leave the property as I got custody of my daughter and you make up a debt of 1300 pounds,you make me sick,if you even consider renting from these thieves,think again as here I am 2 years later unable to even get on the council waiting list as this absolute waste of oxygen says I'm in 1300 pound rent arrears which the council paid directly to the landlord.DO NOT RENT FROM ALEX ,HE'S A CON MAN THAT WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE .

Regarding the noise complaint about your neighbours when you were housed by us. We took your complaint extremely seriously and have now evicted the tenants in question. Unfortunately, the legal system that must be followed takes time, and you left your property before your neighbours were evicted.
Negative experience: VERY unhelpful after viewing a disgusting property. Kept talking over me and wouldn’t let me speak when asked if the carpets were going to be cleaned and broken appliances replaced. Don’t waste your time. The property was VILE, looked like a bunch of animals had just moved out of it - nothing like the pictures. Avoid at all costs
