Negative experience: I began using the service of the Andrew Craig agency in Jarrow in 2022 because of the relatively good reviews it had online. My job took me away from my property for an extended periods of time and in the first two years there were a few full-management issues which were normally settled without too much hassle. However, from the beginning of 2025, due to my prolonged absence, the agency did not look after the property well, enabling small issues to be fixed at overcharging rates by their "reputable contractors" who would acquire handsome profits through this unethical practice. The agents Sholynne, Joani and Denise have been particularly unprofessional and unethical in their dealings with my house by not doing the work they were paid to do, but also charging twice for it. I cannot say enough how greedy, nasty and unethical they all were. Stay away from this agency if you can. Would not wish anyone to go through what I have been with them.

Negative experience: Honestly, bad service. Called up on Monday for a desktop valuation and they agreed to give that information on Tuesday. Called up on Tuesday said no one is in the office. Then called several times on Thursday apparently no one in the office at Jarrow and when finally passed through they can’t give me a valuation. Whilst other estate agents gave the information the following day and therefore more likely to go with the other companies.

My findings were that I put the property on sale on the Wednesday it was sold bye the following Tuesday and I wanted it to go through fairly quickly . When putting the property on the market we sought valuation quotes from 3 estate agents and Andrew Craig's valuation was the highest, so we decided to go with that. The initial assessment by Alex was shown to be very sound and we received an acceptable offer close the asking price within 24 hours of the property going on the market. Our dealings with the office as the sale progressed were first class, staff were helpful and provided regular updates and sound advice throughout. In short, a very positive experience and we would recommend this company.

I reluctantly used a competitor to buy a house from last year and just felt like a name on a file not a person, constantly calling and prompting them. Andrew Craig,especially Michelle have always made the process a smooth one. You always have a point of contact who is on point with the process. Not usually a one for wrighting a review but if your pondering on an agent chose this one.

Fantastic experience: Our house was put on the market in January 2020 and sold immediately. Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of COVID, because of so many forced delays the chain collapsed.
