Fantastic experience: Liam was very nice to work with, super friendly and warm and all my emails and questions were always quickly responded to.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting communication from start to finish. I’ve submitted complaints but never had anyone contact me so I’ve resorted to leaving a bad review. Building manager does not reply and when he does he’s rude on the phone with an attitude and does not provide requested information straight away. Also incredibly difficult to get hold of anyone in the first place. The company has delayed me selling my property causing significant stress and financial loss! Would not recommend and I would never buy/rent anything within a building they own again.

Negative experience: Very poor experience with this letting agency. We reported a serious rat problem multiple times and informed them about property damage caused by it, but they failed to take proper action. There were also frequent problems with the boiler, but the agency did not respond promptly or arrange proper repairs, which made living in the property very inconvenient. After we moved out, they refused to return our deposit claiming repairs were needed, even though these issues had already been reported during our tenancy. It is unfair that we are being charged for issues that were reported earlier and were not addressed by the management. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this letting agency based on our experience.

Negative experience: I request all the international tentants not to rent the flat from branner and partner,they keep all my deposite £634 and when i call them for help,they never helped me.please don’t rent a flat through them.please…They are keeping the deposite and eating the interest,they are keeping my money.God knows,my money I have earned through hard work and sacrifice,sacrifice of staying away from family,sacrifice of not going home just save some money and they looting it,God is watching this.It would not be fruitful to them

Fantastic experience: I’ve rented the same property through the lettings team at Brannen & Partners for the last 8 years and they’ve been fantastic! When my oven broke on Christmas Eve they had a guy out with a replacement same day! Emails are always replied to in a good time frame and when I’ve called the office they’ve been really helpful and professional. I recommend them for anyone that’s looking for stress free renting.

Negative experience: I found the service I received from Brannens totally unprofessional. Due to Storm Daragh my flat became uninhabitable and I was left to find temporary alternative accommodation due to the fact my landlord's insurance didn't cover it. Communication throughout this situation was extremely poor. I struggled to get to speak to the property manager whenever I called and responses to my Emails were very slow. It took 10 days for the last one! Plans and progress for the repairs were inaccurate ( I was told it would take a week to dry out the flat and then I would be able to move back in) 6 weeks later the work was still ongoing. I didn't receive regular updates with the progress. Consequently I terminated my contract. As a tenant for 17 years I wasn't shown any respect, care or compassion for what was an extremely stressful situation to be in. Although I terminated my contract on 19th January I am still currently waiting to be reimbursed for the energy costs used by contractors during repair works. Due to my experience I would definitely not recommend Brannens to anyone looking to rent a property.

Negative experience: These are the worst letting agents I've ever had to deal with. Rude tell lies. The way they treat tenants is horrible. Don't do repairs. They steal money. And say they didn't notice it . I wouldn't recommend these horrible people. Do you self a favour and use anyone else. Totally disgusting.

We decided we needed some time, but Margaret promised to keep in touch, and was so patient with us while we contemplated our options. Every single one of the team are so friendly, and helpful. From Lucy at the initial appointment, to Gillian pushing the sale over the line, we couldn’t have asked for more! Negative experience: Worst customer service you will ever receive. Contact you requesting you to call them, nobody ever answers, when you do get through you get helpful communication like “well I don’t know how long is a piece of string” when asking for an approx time for engineer after having to call 5 times to speak to someone as voicemails aren’t returned.

Fantastic experience: I have just received the keys to my great new flat after 5 weeks of searching (and disappointment) with other agents. The staff at Brannens have been wonderful throughout and in particular I cannot praise Liam at Whitley Bay highly enough...he has been professional, kept me in the loop, and added that personal touch when it was needed. His colleagues have also been fantastic, also professional but supportive too. The whole process from viewing to keys was completed in about a week, which is exceptional, and I totally recommend these guys, especially Liam. Thankyou, this flat means so much to me.

Negative experience: As a first time landlord searching for a coastal agent to fully manage our property, we chose an agent who prides themselves on being ‘experts in the industry’. Unfortunately during our first twelve months as new landlords we did not get this ‘expert’ level of service with Brannen & Partners. Moving forward, as we enter our next twelve months as established landlords expanding our property portfolio, we have explored an alternative coastal agent to meet all our landlord and property needs for greater security and peace of mind. Negative experience: If you are looking for a professional service I'd give this company a miss. Ignorant and rude over the phone, I asked a simple question and got hung up on mid sentence. Next time I might bring along my favorite brick.

Negative experience: They can rarely take phone calls, you always have to leave a message after the tone.. and the lack of communication between themselves is terrible.

Negative experience: Brannen and partners took over the contract for residential management of my apartment block a couple of years ago. Since then, the apartment block itself has not been managed or maintained in any meaningful way: 1. Ongoing ingress of water into stairwell near lift shaft despite complaints over 6 months ago. 2. Apparent repairs of further leaks started 1 year ago and seemingly abandoned; appearance of building is like a building site. 3. Lock was broken by vandals - took 10 weeks for them to repair this. 4. Failed to repair cladding on building, meaning property cannot now have a fire safety certificate (and cannot be listed for sale). Company estimates it will be years before this is corrected. 5. Submitted annual accounts that were completely inaccurate (these are still on companies house 2 years later). Their attitude is a mixture of dismissive arrogance and utter incompetence. The excuses are bloviating and endless. We involved solicitors as the company were so evasive; it took them 10 weeks to respond even to solicitors. They pretended I was the only person in the block complaining, although in fact several had been. I cannot advise more strongly to avoid this company. They are evasive, disorganised, and will do anything to avoid maintaining properties. I can see from online reviews that this is far from an isolated experience.

Negative experience: Horrible customer concern. Quick to take money but awfully slow with response rate. I had to physically go in office to get answers as to why I wasn't hearing from them. Impossible to get ahold of and rude staff. I spent time and money working with them just to be ended with nothing. Will be getting my money back.

Negative experience: Horrible company. They are so eager to take your money for a holding deposit and after that have zero interest in helping you. I paid the deposit, ready to pay everything for a property as soon as it was available, and this company decided that having to wait ONE week to get a paystub from my employer in the middle of a pandemic was just too difficult to deal with. Zero communication from them about this, just randomly decided they were no longer interested in having me rent any property from them. Avoid at all costs. Oh but thankfully they were “happy to refund me my holding deposit” …. Which they are required to by the law.

Negative experience: This state agent are not professional at all and very rude staff and service. I am renting the property from them and after a phone call to them engaging a conversation about the rise of the rent and actually on benefits as due to no work I informed them that the universal credit do not pay me the full rent witch resulting me to pay the difference witch it's not a problem at all. As the rude person was Barbara. I had many many questions and requested some answer but fail to reply nor contacting me regarding the questions asked. Once we engaged the conversation they keep rising their voice interrupting me during me saying as they keep shouting and hanging up the phone few times despite calling them back. When I requested to not talk to Barbara following hers rudeness and uprofesionalism we informed me that I have to leave the property as the landlord requested the possession of the flat as he decided to move in. I know in fact that is totally a lie as even after requesting the detail of the landlord for confirmation at this day they do not proced my request. They know that I have a long health issue witch I been asked to shield by the North Tyneside Council and this is totally ignored by the state agent really aggressive and telling me that I was wrong and I have to go to work despite paying my full rent. Unfortunately at this stage the state agent have been ignorant and unprofessional. At this stage I know that by doing so and by not getting me the details of the landlord they hiding the true and making things up on behalf of the landlord. If this was true the landlord would be able to contact the tenant and at least and am sure he will do his apologise considering this covid19 crisses. I do believe that they have one property that they rented out witch something really bad happen to the previous tenant and maybe afraid for me to tell the new tenant that if they are aware about what happened to the previous tenant as I'm sure it is the law. If the state agent have not informed the new tenant the state agency will be on big trouble. I will soon found out myself by launching the conversation with my new neibourgh and Let see what's happen next.

Negative experience: Terrible estate agent. No concern for customers. Will argue with you until they're black and blue even when you're right. Take no responsibility for anything and extremely rude and aggressive staff. Do not do business with them unless you want to be abused, shouted at and ripped off.

Negative experience: Great for the set up to get a home and quick to get repairs done. Only reason I'm giving 1 star as they tried to take my full bond off is saying a didn't pay for full 6 months a was at my flat even with bank statements as evidence. After a phone call finally got it sorted and got all my bond back. Just wondering how many times they've tried this trick on others

Negative experience: Poor service, got handymen who came and threatened us at our house. Complained to brannens who seemed to take it out on us. One of rooms smelt heavy of smoke but response was I can't smell anything so it mustn't be there. You really had to chase up these guys. Other lettings companies just not this one

Fantastic experience: Recently put the house on market with Brannen & Partners after getting 3 valuations from different estate agents I have to say lucie from brannens was the most professional but helpful and explained everything step by step. Lucie took fabulous pictures of the property and everything she said Brannens would do has happened I would not hesitate to recommend this estate agents excellent service.

Negative experience: Brannan and partners are the managing agent for my property. They have invoiced me my annual service charge but i don't know what i am paying for. I have asked them umpteen times to send me itemised breakdown of the annual charge, they keep avoiding the question or sending the budget sheet for hundreds of other properties. They have told me to employ my own accountant to workout how much they are charging me. How can my accountant know what they are charging me, how "ridiculous". I must say they are the most unprofessional bunch of malicious cowboys i have ever come across. Please please avoid them and take your business elsewhere. They've got to understand you can not mess people around.

Negative experience: Totally Terrible. Loads of promises regards the level of service and the professional management service they offer. In actuality the maintenance department appears to be run by a couple of near teenagers that can't organise a knees up in a brewery. Who to compound there ineptness tell lies. The in house plumber seem to be used at will even organising gas safety checks when they have been sacked as the agent! Oh, and attending to fix a leak they then cant find or explain but charge anyway.1 is too high a rating AVOID AVOID AVOID

Negative experience: Total joke. Phoned to inquire about a flat I'd seen on Rightmove. Was not offered to view the flat but was offered others. Only when the landlady put the flat with another agency was I able to view the flat I had wanted to view. A chimp could of done a better job!
