Fantastic experience: We bought our house through Lang Town & Country, completing on 28th November. We also sold through them. As a former estate agent I can highly recommend all the staff in the Plymstock Office who dealt with us efficiently, timely and answered all our questions. They dealt with all stages of the selling and buying, assisting us to co-ordinate both with our vendors, purchasers, surveyors and solicitors. Whilst selling and buying a house are inherently stressful, they made it as seamless as is possible - and the bottle of bubbly on completion was a lovely added touch. Whilst we never want to sell our home, if and when we do, we will give them our repeat business.

Fantastic experience: From the initial valuation to completion of sale Lang town and country have been fantastic. As someone that has never sold a house before I didn't know what to expect. Rather then being pushy like other estate agents were they took the time to go through everything with myself. Which was why I initially choose them to sell the property for me. After listing the communication was perfect any questions I had they would answer in a reasonable time. Fantastic experience: Lang Town and Country were a fantastic estate agent to deal with from start to finish, and far out shone all other agents I interacted with throughout my long and drawn out sale and purchase process. Every member of their staff were professional, friendly and respectful. Their processes were swift, efficient and proactive. I never had to chase them once, for anything. They got my purchase transaction over the line very promptly, a very different experience than I'd had with another agent on a property purchase that fell through (and that I lost money on). Overall a much better experience than I'd had with multiple other agents during my 12 month journey. I wish I'd also sold with them and absolutely would go to them if I ever decide to sell in future. We had a protracted chain which caused lots of delays but Holly in particular is a credit to your business. Negative experience: This agency is using a third party agency to provide tenant referencing. The company used is called Home Let. Potential tenants are providing a huge amount of personal and financial data as part of this process and you would imagine that it would be secure, however they’re sharing data with energy suppliers/broadband suppliers and also constantly bombard applicants with emails/calls and texts to try and sell insurance products. A straightforward affordability and credit check is not difficult and shouldn’t need to be outsourced.

Fantastic experience: The sale of property was handled smoothly, even when some issues occurred close to buyers wished for completion date. Communications between Lang Town and Country with the conveyancing solicitors were clearly good, resulting in completion in a timely manner.
