Both of my parents are now resident in care homes, and during the course of the sale my father—who was central to progressing matters—was experiencing increasing cognitive difficulties. I live in Canada, and although I travelled to the UK twice this year and met Kristy in person, much of my involvement and support had to be provided remotely. Throughout this complex and sensitive process, Kristy was outstanding. She demonstrated not only a high level of professional competence, but also exceptional patience, empathy, and judgement. In particular, her support during the legal verification stages was invaluable. She took the time to clearly explain requirements, anticipate potential issues, and ensure that progress continued despite the additional complexities involved. Her communication was consistently clear, timely, and reassuring—something that cannot be overstated given the family circumstances and geographical distance. Kristy struck an excellent balance between professionalism and genuine human understanding. Charis, in particular, has been supportive throughout the entire process and made everything much easier. On my moving-in day, I travelled from London to Plymouth in heavy rain and arrived at the letting agent’s office completely soaked. Despite the situation, Charis was kind and attentive, which I really appreciated. Henrieta was also very welcoming and even gave me a lift to my accommodation, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Negative experience: Unfortunately I can only leave a bad review and say that I have never received or even heard of service this bad from any estate agent. I would never chose to use them to sell my property. However, I was buying so didn't get a choice. The communication was poor throughout the purchase and didn't give a feeling of confidence at any stage. The proactivity of the agent seemed nonexistent and answers were only forthcoming after a lot of chasing, but it was very much like getting blood from a stone! The agent left the company in the middle of the process and told me who I was being handed over to, but I never received a single comms from them; and this was only news to me two hours before she finished the employment. From then on we had to chase the boss for every scrap of info, but again there was no proactivity from her. The task of coordination of vendor, buyer, and solicitors for each had to be carried out by my wife (surely not our job?), even to the degree that an exchange date was agreed by the agent and vendor, but not shared with us or our solicitor. On the day we picked up the keys there was a distinct feeling that they wanted us out of there asap. All in all a horrendous experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

You were not able to see out of the window as the shrubs had grown to high. However charis who showed me around was lovely and did her best to assure me she would contact the landlord to see if anything could be done.
