3 months ago Fantastic experience: Tui recently showed my husband and I around a property, she had excellent knowledge, a fab personality and made the experience very enjoyable. We put an offer in after the office had closed yet we still had confirmation that this had been sent to the vendor, and better yet an accepted offer came back that same evening. This was all done in Tui’s own time, outside of her working day. Very impressed by Tui and Martin & Co so far.

3 months ago Positive experience: As a landlord, I have used Martin & Co for 5 years (I was originally with Executive Lets when they were taken over). In that time there have been a number of occasions when I have found the full Management Service to be poor value for money. Some of the previous personnel assigned to my properties have been unhelpful and clearly overworked. However, since Sophie took over, I have a lot more confidence in the way the tenancies are managed and the communication with the tenants. I can’t give five stars because of the company’s poor past performance, but if I was simply rating Sophie, then I would do so.

3 months ago Fantastic experience: Having become disillusioned with literally decades of poor performance from Estate Agents looking after what has been my home for many years, I switched to Martin & Co. this year, after a recommendation. I cannot speak highly enough of not just things like response times, but they get the depth and detail bang-on; far in excess of any agent I've had managing my property previously. Living abroad, the inspection report I just received has given me massive peace of mind that I've not felt with other agents. I have dreaded looking at the pictures from previous inspections but I can again look at my old home with some pleasure - and even pride. These people are the real deal, throughout their staff. 4 months ago Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend Martin & Co Plymouth highly enough, and in particular Tui, who has been absolutely incredible from day one. From the very start, the whole team were professional, approachable, and consistently excellent with communication. Selling a property can be daunting at the best of times, but they genuinely understand that from the seller’s perspective and made the entire process feel straightforward and stress-free. Tui was amazing from our very first conversation. I explained my previous (not great) experiences with estate agents and what I was unhappy with, and she understood me immediately. She reassured me that this would be a completely different experience — and she absolutely delivered on that promise. Communication was outstanding throughout, often even outside of normal business hours. Feedback after viewings was always prompt, detailed, and genuinely useful. Tui also provided regular reports and clear metrics from the advertising platforms, so I could see exactly how the property was performing, which I really appreciated. We’ve now found a buyer and are nearly at the final step, and that’s entirely down to how smoothly and professionally everything has been handled. Tui made my life incredibly easy throughout the whole process. Honestly, I only wish she was available nationwide; if my next property ends up outside Devon, I’d want her handling that too without hesitation. Since taking over around a year ago we have noticed how professional and proactive they have been in managing the property and have kept us in the loop on all aspects. The whole process from viewings, communication with the vendor, to all the admin and paperwork she had made the process absolutely seamless with super fast responses, professionalism and kindness :) she also helped me with finding a solicitors and surveyors. 7 months ago Negative experience: The room was okay overall, but it could have been cleaner when I moved in. The window sills were dusty, and when I moved the bed, I found dirt and some spider webs. It seems like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival. Once I did some cleaning myself, it was fine, but I expected better preparation. The place has potential, just needs more attention to cleanliness.
