Fantastic experience: I phoned this branch today to enquire regarding Shared Ownership at a new development in Romsey. I spoke with Callum who informed me that applications were now closed. He said he would contact relevant branches ,within the company , should any suitable , available Shared Ownership properties come up one of his colleagues should contact me. Later on, the same day, Callum phoned and informed me there would be quite a significant number of Shared Ownership properties available, in one of our locations, of interest. One of his colleagues, hopefully, will contact us when properties become available. Callum was friendly, professional, knowledgeable. Very supportive. Went the extra mile. Explained our situation and our significant health issues ,which he could empathise with, as he had experienced some of what we are going through. Amazing young man. They were honest from the start, called and messaged for each viewing, gave weekly calls and emails on our progress, and gave suggestions on how to make our house more sellable. They arranged a 3D photo session for the house to better show it on their website and on 3rd party websites. Once we had a credible offer, the team kept us up to date, chased our solicitors and the buyers solicitors as well as kept a chat between us and the buyers regular, sorting out minor queries. The price was reasonable overall and for the amount of effort they put in, it seemed a great deal. I would recommend Morris Dibben Romsey to friends and family, and would use them again myself. Having used another agent previously (with whom the sale fell through) we decided to go 'multi-agency' and didn't look back. Fantastic experience: Michael Maher was good in helping us Move and keeping the chain intact when wobble moments appeared. Michael was professional and as far as estate agents go this was a better level of service. I don't trust estate agents however I felt ok with this Company.

Positive experience: Were fantastic with getting house sold and re-sold once buyers pulled out. Kept us informed at beginning with what was going on with viewings, offers and feedback. Went a bit quiet once house was sold while we were going through the solicitors process until it became apparent we were about to exchange. Left the chasing/update gathering during to another agent who was in the chain. Also a few questions we asked to pass to the buyers went unasked without followups. However, overall, they were fantastic for getting the house sold and all staff were friendly and professional throughout.

Fantastic experience: We had a viewing at a property over the weekend with Austin from the Romsey branch. That day we viewed 7 different properties with 5 different Estate Agents. Austin was the last Estate Agent that we saw that day. He was by far the most polite Agent we dealt with. He knew all about the property and the area, he’d certainly done his homework. He was able to answer every question that we had, unlike all of the other Agents we had dealt with. We were treated as humans and not numbers. Every other Estate Agent we had dealt with on that day had been rushed and just wanted us in and out of their properties. Austin was very professional. If all Estate Agents took as much pride in their job as he did on Saturday the house viewing process could be so much better and stress free. Thank you Austin, you are an asset to your Company!

Negative experience: WARNING. Be careful. Morris Dibben are expensive and very poor value for money. We have had a disastrous time with our sale and have felt completely deserted by the agents that were supposed to be acting for us. Thankfully I managed to successfully save my sale but my advice would be to cut out the middle man and market yourself! When questioned as to why they think they earned their fee I’m told the nearly £3000 is purely for them to find a buyer, not to handle the sale!!!

To say they have gone over and above is an understatement, they genuinely care about their clients and it's so refreshing. When my Mum was unwell they kept in touch with me to ask about her progress and even offered to check in on her to make sure she was ok! And they did all this at a time when they couldn't actively market the property we had engaged them to sell, so they had absolutely no vested interest in helping out and no prospect of an upcoming sale. They're all wonderful, lovely, helpful people with a genuine human touch. Amazing.

They were able to manage the period during the restrictions, limiting viewers to those capable of proceeding and as such reducing contact with those who could not proceed at the time of the requested viewing. Negative experience: We have found the sales person at this estate agent to be the most unprofessional and rude to deal with. Definitely wouldn’t recommend selling or buying a house through this company. We have been left feeling like we cannot trust this agent at all when it comes to purchasing a property through them. To be told “If you had listed your property with us then I’d have been able to get you in for a viewing” on two occasions almost felt like I was being blackmailed and denied the opportunity to buy our dream house. Not impressed one bit and very disappointed.
