Fantastic experience: We have used Winkworth's to let out our flat for a number of years and they have been nothing short of fantastic. We have never had a period when the flat wasn't rented out and the tenants have all been well vetted. All the day to day issues have been dealt with speedily and efficiently. Fantastic experience: I rented a property that Winkworth Estate agents were advertising. My situation is a little different from the normal but that was no problem, Ethan Jones who showed me the property made the process smooth and easy, with it being rather quick considering the situation and they kept me updated along the way which was very helpful. Fully recommend using them.

Positive experience: The team at Winkworths were, on the whole very good. The sales team always kept us informed about viewings and followed up on feedback from viewings. Donna, in particular was amazing and helped us go from offer to completion within 6 weeks. However, I have dropped them a star for not knowing what was happening to Andover Road (I had to supply the information) and not explaining to buyers that there was potential for side access by simply installing a gate.

Negative experience: Lovely people and the pictures of the property were beautiful. Sadly my property was listed with them for 3 months and not a single viewing. Communication was also poor towards the end of the contract, not hearing from anyone for a month before I cancelled the listing.

Fantastic experience: We viewed a property on a Wednesday having only registered interest a day prior, and then had all referencing, discussions and contractual work done by the following Tuesday, ready to move in 11 days later (at our request). As a young couple, both 22, who had only rented outside of university once before during full time employment, I couldn’t image a tenancy process going any smoother than this. took us over 2 months at our original flat for exactly the same process. The 4 (working) day turnaround period on finalising everything with winkworth was incredible and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Negative experience: Renters and owners be aware! I tried to stay positive and previously gave this agency a higher rating even though their performance was lacking for us. They failed us miserably at the end of our lease They have a great deal of turnover internally. They showed no urgency or much care in diligently solving m by major issues we h d with property. They treat their renters as second class citizens not Listening to them or swiftly responding to major issues of leaks or infrastructure issues. They clearly give all their attention and devotion to the owners who pay them and not the unfortunate renters who have to endure many challenges. I bluntly expressed this to their new manager. He said he will make a note of it. At the end after all we endured and all my utmost care of the rental property, which even the owners noted, they had us pay heavily on the owners behalf for a problem that I had reported months before to their previous opération manager during his last walk though and explained the cause having nothing to do with us. They had not reported the issue and never followed up with us for an explanation and prevention. They are not transparent with the renters and don’t share their walk-through reports even after we asked for it after we realised the older manager had not reported the issue that I had shared with him months before and never followed up with us or asked us for a fix. They supported the owners in having us pay for the cost of the maintenance of a poorly built house with cheap appliances and fixtures that kept falling apart. Ironically once I met the owner on a visit, he told me personally that the agency served no purpose especially with how I took care of the property and that he will no longer use them. That seems to have happened after we moved our. I needed to share our very unfortunate experience with this agency and their client to forewarn future renters who are not supported and the owners who might not be getting full timely reports of issues reported verbally during walkthrough's.
