Negative experience: If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Negative experience: Where do I start with this scammy company.. from the first interaction to the last it’s been nothing but hell. Our landlords switched from Hortons to Your Move randomly and we were told to contact your move so we can go through the rent changes as we needed to pay the recent rent so, I emailed Lewis and got no reply for days and days so we called your move and not one person had any idea about what was going on, until finally Lewis responded back saying he was on annual leave, an automated message would’ve saved all my time waiting for a response and stressing over late payment. Then, a couple months later we had an issue with electric, we couldn’t use our stove or oven so were unable to make food for nine days and we got absolutely no help whatsoever, we had to order takeout which we weren’t even reimbursed for even though the electric fault wasn’t our doing, we emailed Lewis countless of times and he’d either ignore it or tell us pretty much it weren’t his problem and to contact some number he gave because he “wasn’t allowed to do it” and finally when they sent someone out days later it turns out the electric was back to working so we had no idea how many days we could’ve started to make food again as we were scared if we tried ourselves we’d worsen the issues. Whenever I had phone calls with him he’d say something but if i mentioned it in emails he would say it’s something he never said, he even on call schedule two viewings in one week so I made sure I was home from work to be ready for early viewings and when no one came I emailed and he said that he never said that day but I wrote it on my notes as we had the call so.. Lastly, apart from already having the struggles of moving out we were being rushed and told someone was moving in the next day so clearly they don’t do proper inventory checks but I’ll get further into that, we’ve moved out everything was fine we heard absolutely nothing all we got was an email our reposit was closed and ended then randomly 17 days later after we moved out we got a message saying reposit was reopened and we have to pay for repairs, the idiot landlords and agency collectively decided to try and scam £1,384.62 thinking we’d just drop to their mercy and pay it because we’re a young couple well jokes on this company, I have lots of photos and videos in my camera roll thanks to my cats and I have the inventory list which they should have went through before trying to charge us for things we didn’t do, we were charged for things we have raised to the previous agency and landlords so your move should have got all that information. Regardless after all that time they’ve wasted of mine and stress caused I only owe £100 so Lewis if you’re reading this go learn to spell because your emails were very unprofessional and clearly this company doesn’t care about the people just causing stress and money and being intimidating. The only person at your move who was a delight was Delani, she was doing the real viewings and was very nice and respectful and I think Lewis could learn a thing or two from her. You should be sorry because what I went through was despicable. proper businesses have an automated message to say they’re out of office so people aren’t left for days with nothing, the advisory to report to the maintenance team wasn’t given to us instantly we had to report our issue multiple times, you guys were too lazy to move with pace, yes we were supposed to give keys on the 30th however I called Lewis as soon as the office opened on the 31st to say it’ll have to be in the evening on the 31st instead as we had to give the van we hired back so we could only re hire again the next day and we work so try moving whilst working. Instead of being nice on the call he decided to be hostile and not let me speak and then proceeded to lie that someone was due to move that day, so someone was moving on New Year’s Eve without the property even being checked. Clearly there was no damages to the property as only had to pay for the wardrobe I left which I was leaving in a good gesture for new tenants.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY! The worst letting agency ever! The agency has ripped off our money to the max, unjustly. The agency was supposed to repair the boiler in our house, because we are the owner. Not only did they not repair it at all, but they charged us almost £600 for it! And now we have to replaced the boiler because it's danger to life. They also charged us too much money for other repairs in the property. While we no longer want to have anything to do with the agency, they constantly email us with various lies, blackmail, etc. because they can't accept that we no longer want to work with this agency! They also won't leave the ex-tenant alone and constantly send him threats about money, etc.! And the tenant still didn't received the deposit back from the agency, although we as Iandlord confirmed that the deposit can be received. I would not recommend this agency to anyone! Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend them after our experience. The communication has been of assurance but no action. The experience has been of false promises and misinformation. We were moved to a property which has mould issues in spite of assuring at the time of the viewing that it will be resolved. And still waiting to be resolved after over a month moved in to this property. Things were faulty but agent didn't inform and now they are completely broken. No action or solutions to any problems. I hope future tenants read this and don't face the same problems we are facing. We are almost in the process of filling an official complaint to their headoffice.

My experience with them left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. From the moment I expressed interest, I was bombarded with calls, voicemails, and rude emails. What's worse, when I voiced my displeasure, I received even more disrespectful communication, including threats to archive my contact details. Shockingly, this behavior came from the branch manager herself. It's not only upsetting but also baffling how such unprofessionalism can exist in the real estate industry. Ultimately, this aggressive approach is driving potential buyers away, leading to a significant loss in sales for them. Proceed with caution if you choose to engage with Your Move.
