Negative experience: (FYI for anyone interested, I will forward the email chains, with sensitive information censored out, of my comms with cloud9 including all the ignored emails) They have not sent back my deposit, after I refuted their charge of 15 pounds for a "light clean" of the house even though we had someone deep clean it after we moved out. I asked for evidence they needed cleaning they pretended I never contacted them. I kept forwarding the email I sent before and they are just ignoring me. Can't wait to go to small claims court over this. EDIT: Only after I posted this review, did cloud9 reply to me, not providing the receipts for cleaning I am legally entitled to and evidence it was needed to be undergone. I will update my communication with them throughout this review so people understand how difficult it is to be working with cloud9. FINAL EDIT: Since people have asked a few times since. The adjudicator did approve for the 15 pound to be sent back to me. Furthermore, I've learnt many things that were done illegally since. For instance, holding the rest of the deposit over the 15 pound charge was illegal. The unrefuted section of your deposit cannot be withheld!! They withheld my whole deposit and waited for the deadline to hold it as long as possible.

Negative experience: Terrible agency with abhorrent response to maintenance requests, exploitative use of the reposit scheme leading to people being charged hundreds of pounds without reason, and refusal to justify their deposit theft to tenants. I would advise anyone considering renting from Cloud9 to seriously reconsider whether they’re ok with subpar service, dismissive and threatening behaviour from agents when you press them to fix things, and the threat of unreasonable deposit deductions hanging over your heads.

Negative experience: Avoid wasting your time I paid a £252 holding deposit for a property, but the agency later changed the terms without notice (suddenly requiring a high-income guarantor and altering the rent). Despite providing all information honestly, my deposit was not returned, and explanations were vague and unclear. Other applicants in similar situations received their deposits back. Save yourself the frustration — I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

The team is very professional and responsive — they always listen to queries and resolve issues quickly. Once, when the lift in our building stopped working, they had it fixed within 24 hours. Fantastic experience: Had a prolonged heating issue and they fixed it. Took several plumber/engineer visits. My understanding is some landlords care about maintenance cost so much that they don't care about quick fix or about the tenants and cloud9 being in the middle of it gets the blame. But anyway, all that matters is they resolved it amicably I can't express how much grateful am I considering all my problems were due to lack of room heat. My work was affected, health was taking a toll, stiff neck/head ache due to cold, everything was adversely affected in the past week. Thank you Sanj and Andrea!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. It has been about a month since I moved into my house, and they still haven’t fixed the front door. They also failed to send anyone to repair the washing machine, and the house was extremely dirty when I received the property I rented. Do not rent a house from them—they are not responsible at all. They have many staff members, but if you don’t constantly call, they simply forget about your property. Attached are some pictures of the condition of the property when I moved in. I just wanted to share my review because it has been a month, and they still haven’t fixed a single issue. Instead, they gave me the contractor’s email and told me to contact them myself to try to get the washing machine repaired. What a shame for a company that claims to be a “3rd award winning property agency” in Coventry!

Negative experience: Poor service. Constantly trying to rip off tenants by laying false claims especially when trying to get your deposit back or the reposit scheme. They send old pics of the properties as new and claim that was the state of the property before move in. Thank God I made a video on the day I moved in. Unfortunately my experience with this agency was marred by lack of intergrity and professionalism. I felt like this agency was more interested in finding ways to extort and rip off tenants rather than providing quality services. This lack of intergrity and transparency led to my decision to vacate the property. Very unprofessional staffs especially a lady name “Eki” she was so rude the few times we spoke.

Negative experience: The agent that dealt with my query is incompetent and has no empathy. Completely wasted my time with a viewing and to be told you don't meet affordability. Why couldn't this be done prior to arranging a viewing. Gone over as normal, requested to make application and was told can't go for it. Didn't even apologise about this. Now they blacklisted me because I called them out for arranging a viewing without vetting the info; didn't even cuss them out. Only referred to that agent as a plonker for wasting my time and effort Avoid this company...

Fantastic experience: There is a reason why there are so many Cloud 9 boards all over Coventry especially Stoke area. I appointed Cloud 9 as my 1st agent were unable to close a sale with over 13 views. However soon as Johnathan took over we had few viewings but once an offer was accepted it was my one stop contact, as Johnathan liaised with all parties and we had regular updates and the process took a lot less time than I would of expected. I would highly recommend Cloud 9 especially dealing with Johnathan. Thank you guys as this sale was very important and you guys shared my expectations and delivered.

Positive experience: It has been a positive experience since we moved into their apartment. They always give listening ears whenever there is a need for it. Response rate has been encouraging

Negative experience: The worest agency I was come across. They are not open and they donot maintain transperency between landlord and the tenant. They try to extort from the landlord by saying tenat is asking for this and that, but never share tenant's communications. They don't even want landlord to communicate with tenant. They don't share thier numbers with each other. They even doesn't want the landlord to get involved in the deposit amount. They try to use every opportunity to be pain for the landlord and work very closely with tenants. They chase every day and several calls if tenant wants any thing or if they want to make some money on something from landlord, but if Landlord wants something they just ignore the emails. Their contract says if landlord donot respond for any emergency purpose then they have authority to spend 3 months worth of rent for jobs without landlords consent.
