Fantastic experience: After a few disappointing experiences with some of the local letting agents, I wandered into this firms office on a chance, within 5 mins they had found me the exact house in the exact location I was looking for, within 10 mins I had an appointment for the next day, and within 3 weeks the referencing was complete, I had paid my deposit and rent, and was given the keys. These people are professional, friendly, eager to help and are good at what they do. An absolute pleasure to deal with them

They were very quick and smooth with helping us to get moved and are very speedy when it comes to any queries etc via email that we had originally. If you're looking to move, defo give these guys a call, they're brilliant. We viewed on a Thursday. Sent off for referencing the same day and had the keys by Tuesday. So smooth, so quick, our home is lovely and our children are so pleased too. Negative experience: Awful estate agents. They don’t pick up the phone. I rang them twice to change my viewing on a property and now they have called saying the property got sold. Such an awful estate agent. They don’t do weekend viewings like other estate agents. What kind of estate agent cancel a viewing to say oh property got sold.

Negative experience: I originally went with Wright and Co because as executor of my late mum's will it looked like they were offering the best deal on selling my mum's house. The office staff got rude, arrogant and didn't care less as soon as we excepted an offer on my mum's house. They didn't respond to messages from my legal team, neither did the buyers legal team so I would get phone calls from my legal team and I would have to ring up to try and find out what was going on. I got fobbed off with excuses with it takes times, your being emotional. John Wright was moderately helpful which is why I have given two stars

I had sole agency and do not regret staying with them to the bitter end when a number of things went wrong with many buyers through no fault of Wright's. They were always kind and sympathetic when we had problems and went that extra mile to help. Thoroughly recommend them.

Negative experience: My experience with Wright Estate and Lettings was very unprofessional. I was very disappointed with the carefree and lack of accountability I experienced with this company. To date I have not had a response to my request, complaints and even been able to close business account with Wright lettings. This is extremely poor customer services and awful representation of estate and letting agents in a regulated profession in the 21st century.

Negative experience: Very poor service, they reneged on an initial agreement regarding finding a tenant and has not responded to any of our complaints about them.

Fantastic experience: I've rented with Wright & Co for several years now and would gladly use them again over any other agency. All their staff are a pleasure to deal with and genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. You can tell you are dealing with a smaller agency that actually cares about their users opposed to just being in it for the money like you feel with some larger agents. Any problems are quickly resolved and when I experienced a delay it was generally down to the time of year e.g Christmas or due to agents outside of their control.

Fantastic experience: I can’t praise John and Hannah enough for such a brilliant service. I rang John asking to find a place to rent urgently for me and my daughters and amazingly he not just found a lovely house for us but he was able to persuade the landlord to let us move in quicker then we could have hoped for. Negative experience: J Wright is a bully and blames everyone else and never takes responsibility. When you got a person like that running the company, you can see why the staff are a cruel as they are. Avoid totally!!!

Negative experience: We rented a property with this agency. Spent significant amount of money to fix the fence which was falling every time there is a wind; build a new shed, remake the whole garden. Then we decided to move before the end of our contract. We have 2 months notice. Yet we did not get our deposit back because of the agreement although they told us when we were moving out that we will receive our deposit. Do I need to say more...

Fantastic experience: I have been renting from this company for 4 years and have had no problems. The staff are understanding , approachable and helpful. I don't feel like I have someone watching over me and feel at home . Any issues raised (hardly ever) are resolved in timely manner. When I moved in , all the carpets were cleaned from top to bottom. The house was CLEAN, ready for me to just unpack . There is a welcoming and warm atmosphere in their office and they are pretty easy to talk to. I would highly recommend them. Fantastic experience: I have been with wright and co for just over 8 years. They have always been friendly and aproachable and most certainly bend over backwards to get work carried out in the 2 properties I have and am renting off of them. 3 years ago my life was turned upside down when I was informed by them that my rented house at the time was being sold. However the company (within 2 months) had a new property for me to move in to. This would have been sooner but they needed the time to totally gut the house, fit a kitchen, decorate the whole house, carpet the house and much more as they wouldnt have seen me go into the vile conditions the previous tenants left the house in. Negative experience: I bought my house many years ago from this agent. Who also manages the rented property next door. Buying my house posed no particular problem But trying to get them to attend to the property next door has been a nightmare. The boundary fence sustains some form of damage almost every year. And takes them months to repair. They have sent me abusive emails. And quite frankly. I am tired of the tenants complaining about the damp and mold in their house year after year. I have even had the owner at my house ranting and raving once. To the point where he was close to getting a good hiding. Avoid this lot if I were you. They come across as arrogant and certainly think they are superior.
