Negative experience: I was disappointed by the tone of my recent phone enquiry with this agency. The conversation felt judgemental from the beginning, with assumptions made about my circumstances before any proper discussion had taken place. Although pets were later cited as the reason, the dismissive attitude was present beforehand. As a working mother seeking a rental property, I found this approach unprofessional and unnecessary. Prospective tenants should be treated with fairness and respect, regardless of personal circumstances. Once I am ready to purchase a property this is one estate agent I will refuse to use.

Negative experience: Genuinely wish I'd had the experience that everyone else seems to have done. Dealing with Robinson Michael & Jackson has been one of the most stressful unpleasant experiences of my life. Jody has provided such poor communication and after 10 months of waiting and chasing there has been no progression whatsoever. There has been so many lies as well, I think they even need to have someone check their system because of the amount of emails I've been told haven't sent or haven't been received!! I found out things had gone wrong through Rightmove who put part of the property I was buying back up on the market, not the estate agent who hadn't had the decency to let me know or even told my solicitor. The chain has also now completely collapsed and it took me chasing up to be told of this. The service has been so so poor.

Fantastic experience: We found the sales team excellent in finding us a buyer showing them around the property and keeping us informed. However, we think we was misinformed on our buyer as we was told that they were ready to go immediately, This was not the case as we soon discovered we was in a chain of five. What’s the sales team had done their bit? They handed it over to the progress team. Not sure where they came up with the name of progress team as the progress which was allocated to us didn’t seem to do anything to progress to sell at all. We kept getting told that we are waiting for one outstanding inquiry. As soon as that inquiry was answered, then the progress I would come back and say oh no, we are still waiting for another one. This went on for six months. I was constantly ringing up and emailing looking for any updates on the sale. This information was never voluntarily gave to us by the progress team. The only bit of good luck that we had was when our progress went off on jury service however she did not inform us that she would be out of the office and someone else would be dealing with this. but I must say, this was the best thing that happened as the progress team from the maidstone office took over A woman called Jody and she done an excellent job in pulling everything together Kept us informed dealt with all the solicitors and actually pushed the whole deal through. I did mention this to the sales team and I was told that the progress that we originally was allocated at 30 years experience I find this very hard to believe as did she never advised our seller on getting a survey on the house she never knew that a management pack would have to be applied for at the beginning of the sale. I thought this was absolutely diabolical and the stress it caused us. . We was on the break of pulling out of the house sale and going with another agent, but as I said, luckily for us the Maidstone branch Jody to Progress are stepped in and saved it. but we are now in our new property and we can put this behind us. As for a recommendation after reading this, I think you should make your own mind up but think very carefully.
