Fantastic experience: I recently bought a by to let property via BeeMyHome and was really happy with the service, I decided to also use them to let my property. Jessica Bates who deals with the lettings has been absolutely fantastic in rectifying so may issues the property had in order to get tenants in for me. There were a lot of time-consuming issues that I do not have the knowledge or was physically in a position do. Jessica took care of these without me even having to ask. A really personalised service that gives me peace of mind.

Fantastic experience: We bought our first home with BeeMyHome, Yazmin was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and even though things didn't always go to plan (a fault further up the chain!) Yazmin continually pushed our case and communicated consistently with the other parties throughout the chain to ensure we got the result we wanted. Being a 1st time buyer you don't know what you're getting yourself in for, but Yazmin certainly made the process easier and I can't thank her enough or recommend her enough! The only thing which let down the service was her colleague Sean who we spoke to whenever Yazmin wasn't available, he was very abrupt and sometimes quite short and rude which really let the business down, maybe he needs to work on his customer communication skills, or sit with Yazmin and work to mirror her excellent people skills. It's a high pressure time buying a house, and Sean never seemed bothered about helping, he was even especially unhelpful on the day of completion. Thankfully Yazmin was there throughout the majority of the process! 5 stars to BeeMyHome and Yazmin in particular. Thank you .

Positive experience: Didn't actually get to sell my house through Beemyhome but that was because I had a change of plan and decided to part exchange against a new build. Thanks to Sean for accepting my decision and making sure taking my house off the market was quick and easy. Would use again based on this alone.

Negative experience: Had a house up for sale for 3 month. We had no viewings, no communication and we had to ask them to put a for sale sign at the property a few weeks after it went up for sale, despite it being on a main road. I understand they will be busy at the moment and they can't really help the lack of viewings, but we would have expected some proactive communication

Fantastic experience: I have been renting from Bee my home for the past 16 months and throughout the process they have been fabulous. When I have had issues they have always been dealt with promptly. Boiler was replaced when it was faulty and since then a few issues have cropped up and have always been dealt with promptly. Having dealt with all 3 members of staff I have never had an issue with any of them.

Negative experience: I have given Bee my home 1 star due to lack of communication which caused unnecessary stress in the sale process. I had my house up for sale the start of April, 3 weeks later an offer was put in. I will add that up until this point i had no issues with the service at all. I received regular updates on viewings and they even helped do viewings when we were not in. I accepted the offer but after a month I had not heard from my solicitors or Bee my home. It turned out that the solicitor had received no paperwork from Bee my home. I chased this up and it was rectified. 1 1/2months goes by with no contact from Bee my home. Having never sold a house before I just assumed things were going on behind the scenes. When I made a phone call to my solicitor for an update on the progress they informed me that my buyer had not even instructed her solicitors. Bee my home was not aware of this and again I was the one chasing them up to act. In July, I was still no further forward with my sale. Bee my home state they were speaking to my buyer but did not feel it necessary to inform me about the contact. I could have reassessed our situation if I was fully aware of the progress. Once my buyer’s solicitor finally got instructed, I initially thought the services was slightly better however they did say they would email/ring at certain times and did not. I received more updates from the estate agent who we were buying our next house off. In October, I made a formal complaint about the service and this is when i actually got movement on my purchase. I got regular updates and was well informed of the situation. However I felt from our point of view it was too little too late by this point. I felt let down with the service and thought it would have been less stressful having a company who seemed to have a good reputation but sadly this wasn’t the case. Due to our experience I would not use them again or recommend them unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: We lived in a flat managed by Beemyhome for 2.5 years. This is definitely the best letting agency I have rented a flat from. They were always quick to respond to our questions and issues. The staff was very polite and helpful, the rent was fair, the deposit was returned quickly - no complaints at all. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: The letting agent was 40 minutes late to see us, although the staff were very apologetic this set our schedule back for the day leading to us having to cancel a viewing with another agency. After this delay we were finally greeted to be taken to our viewings only to find out that the agency had misbooked our viewings for 4 bedrooms instead of 5 beds. Luckily there was one 5 bed we could view, despite being told that the place was going to be renovated over the summer we were immediately greeted by large cracks in the walls and damp in the bathrooms. This house was not to a good standard, the smoke alarms were yellowing and didn't look trustworthy at all. Finally I come to the agent, despite driving us to the places and back to our accommodation he was significantly unhelpful and stood playing on his phone throughout our viewing, he didn't seem to know very much about the property at all and was very quick to talk about crime at one of our other viewings. Overall I'd avoid this agency because they seem significantly disorganised and disengaged with the property market and the students they are housing. Unfortunately I can't review less than one star, otherwise I would.
