Fantastic experience: After a disappointing experience with two other well known local agents (6-8 weeks each, only 4-5 viewings between them, and listings that weren't optimised to reach the right buyers), we switched to Bairstow Eve's Kenley branch; and the difference was night and day. Maxine and her team brought genuine local market knowledge and a clear sense of what actually sells in the area, rather than just charts and notifications. Maxine led the sales process brilliantly, while Dianne on completions was warm, patient, and reassuring throughout; the two of them complement each other perfectly. Maxine ran a tight ship, getting viewings, having Brandon and Abi working tirelessly most weekends of weekdays showing people round, in the end Abi won and got a sale, well done. Diane who was a saint in chasing the conveyancers on all sides of the chain right to the last date of closing. Negative experience: Oh dear. I usually find Bairstow Eves very good. However, unfortunately, I found this branch to be disorganized (the seller turned up late), rude (they then tried to rush us around the house because they had to 'collect their children'), unknowledgeable (Or perhaps just unwilling to answer basic questions), rude, and quite frankly, we felt Maxine, the branch manager, spent most of her time looking down her nose at us. Which is a shame, as we were prepared to offer the full asking price. Considering the house had been 'on and off' the market for a year, and the owners were now considering a private buyer (perhaps they too had lost confidence in Bairstow Eves Kenley), we feel the discourteous attitude of the manager was a little reckless. Nevermind. We wish the sellers luck, although, we would suggest changing agents.

Negative experience: I used Bairstow Eves in Kenley to sell my property back in June this year. I was left very disappointed throughout the whole process and found them to be very rude and unhelpful. They gave a very good sales talk before putting my property on the market but that is where the customer service ended. At the end of the whole house selling process i was left wondering who was worse, Bairstow Eves, or the solicitor that they recommended for me to use.
