Negative experience: Not great to rent from. I'm surprised seeing all the shining reviews here. But they seem to all be from people buying and selling rather than renting. We rented through these guys and had the classic renting in London experience. They work for the landlord not for renters. When we moved out they didn't turn up for the check out, then they made a claim with the deposit protection scheme that we had left the garden in a mess. They couldn't prove this as they had never done a check in so we eventually got our money back. The landlord claimed he had asked the cleaners (which we paid for) to tidy the garden and that was what the charge was for. When we spoke to the cleaners they said this hadn't happened and they don't even work with gardens. Mostly a dodgy landlord but would not have happened if we'd had a proper check in and check out which feels like the bare minimum from a letting agent.

Negative experience: We had a awful experience with Joanne Hall The Director, we have neighbours moving but we had a ongoing issue with a tree in the sellers garden that was growing into our garage, she promised us this would be sorting before selling but then went back on her word. She was refusing to tell the new buyers of the ongoing situation, so we had to tell her legally she had to declare this. She was extremely rude on every phone call that we had. She stated we was trying to make the sale fall through even though we was asking for the bare minimum as our garage was relatively new. Joanne was unprofessional and I would say uneducated at her job. We ended up having to take this into our own hands.

Fantastic experience: I brought in Hallways Residential as a second agent after my local high street estate agents made many promises and delivered few results. The pictures were great, the virtual tour outstanding, the marketing on point. Within days of going live with Hallways Residential, I have agreed the sale of the property. Jo also was the selling agent for the property that we were buying, and ohh boy, what a journey that was! We were part of a bigger chain and things did not go as planned, several times. Jo has gone the extra mile and then some, doing the job of several estate agents in the chain. Fantastic experience: Last thing we want in the sale/purchase of house is tardiness and lack of response. Hallways came out with flying colours on both the criteria. Right from the start, Jo and Coral were quite responsive to our queries and were easily approachable. In fact, when our solicitors were a bit slow to make progress on few things, Jo ensured that she was chasing them up regularly to make sure things were moving. Jo always kept us in loop on the progress and ensured she was in touch with the vendors and their solicitors as well to coordinate everything. It’s a small team so they know their customers well and the service provided is first class. Highly recommend them for any service. I know we will be using them again for any of our future requests.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to put on record my thanks and appreciation for Jo and the team at Hallways. Initially I interviewed one local agent and Jo from Hallways and I was really impressed that Jo’s knowledge rivalled the local agent. Fantastic experience: We sold our house with Jo @hallways within 10 days of putting it on the market. I had met Jo through business networking and was immediately impressed at how she is actively promoting properties & not relying on just internet marketing tools. Unfortunately, Covid struck & we lost our sale but as soon as it was possible , Jo had the house remarketed & the house was sold with in a week! Throughout the whole rices, Jo was reassuring & in contact with us , updating us - often way outside of business hours.
