Fantastic experience: We came across a property for rent on a Saturday afternoon and the agent managed to secure a viewing in 2 hours - very short term. They have been nice and professional, every step has been explained and the process to secure the property went smoothly end to end. Swift email responses, expectations crystal clear and we’ve been able to complete the transaction in less than a week. Absolutely recommended.

Fantastic experience: Moving to London from Australia is exciting in theory. In reality, four weeks after arriving, Jack and I were juggling new jobs, trying to navigate an unfamiliar rental market, and desperately hoping to find somewhere to call home. Thankfully, we had Daniel in our corner. From the very beginning, Daniel was sincere, approachable and genuinely invested in helping us. At a time when we felt completely out of our depth navigating the UK’s rental requirements, he helped guide us through the process and made what could have been a stressful experience feel manageable. What stood out most was that we never felt like just another commission or tenancy agreement. Daniel took the time to understand our situation, appreciated that we had just moved our lives across the world from Australia, and treated us with kindness and respect throughout the entire process. His communication was excellent, he was always willing to help, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. In a market that can sometimes feel transactional, Daniel was refreshingly genuine. Thanks to his support, Jack and I secured our first flat in London, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything he did to help us get there. If you’re looking for an agent who genuinely cares about people and not just the outcome, we couldn’t recommend Daniel highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend S Stone Management highly enough. Yonela and Daniel were professional and never left us feeling out of the loop.

Negative experience: I called about two newly built properties they advertised. One was apparently under refurbishment (even though it was new), and the other, the landlord apparently changed their mind. I was offered two other properties, which I was reassured were to the same high standards. On viewing the properties, this couldn’t be further from the truth. So I have wasted my time and theirs. As if property searching wasn’t stressful enough, this kind of practice is just unnecessary.

Negative experience: AVOILD if you cannot pass on annual household income criteria – Inconsistent communication and lack of transparency. £300 holding deposit got taken without return due to their 'play', or so called on going negociation with landlord & insurance company! While Caitlin has been a friendly and helpful assistant, our overall experience with S Stone Management has been extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, we were transparent about our situation: as only one of us is working full-time, we knew we wouldn't meet standard referencing criteria. To address this, we proactively suggested a 6-month upfront rent payment—a term we proposed even before viewing the property and explicitly included in our formal offer. This offer was accepted by the agency on these exact terms. However, after we successfully passed referencing, the agency repeatedly attempted to change the agreement. They pressured us to increase the upfront payment to 12 months, then 8 months, creating a high-pressure situation. It was only after we firmly declined these shifting requirements that they suddenly reverted to the original 6-month agreement. This inconsistency suggests that the higher demands were unnecessary and were perhaps an attempt to "test" our limits rather than a requirement from the landlord. The agency may have their own "side of the story," but the fact remains: if they needed to adjust the upfront terms, they should have done so BEFORE accepting our offer. By accepting the 6-month deal at the start and then moving the goalposts later, they have completely undermined our trust. Had we known the terms were subject to such inconsistent changes, we would never have submitted an offer or wasted our time. This approach has completely undermined our trust. It felt less like a professional negotiation and more like a lack of integrity. We have decided not to proceed because if this is how they handle the pre-tenancy stage, we have no confidence in how they would manage repairs, communication during a tenancy, or after you moved out from the property. A total loss of time, trust and money. You might be okay if you do meet the annual household income criteria and are able to go through the normal referencing process. But if your sitation are alike, and you value transparency and fair treatment, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I have received excellent service and will highly recommend them.

Negative experience: This estate agent uses very misleading marketing tactics. They advertise properties on Rightmove that appear to be of a very high standard. However, when you enquire, they tell you the property has already been taken - even though it was only just listed - and then offer to show you a “similar” property that hasn’t been posted online yet and supposedly has no photos available, but which they’re happy to arrange a viewing for. That’s where the disappointment begins. The property you’re shown is nowhere near the standard of the one advertised. It felt like a complete waste of time. I would strongly recommend asking for photos in advance before agreeing to a viewing - otherwise, you’re likely to be very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Daniel was super duper helpful! Quick turnaround, very responsive. Really fought hard for us too.

Negative experience: Can’t rate this company at all, they don’t acknowledge emails and lie on the phone. Sent offer the same evening as the viewing and they couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge the email I sent. I phoned and asked for an update and was rudely told by Yonela they are about to go into a meeting and she will update me later which of course she didn’t. Next day we phoned and asked for an update AGAIN and was asked if we considered going for anything more expensive then we have a chance. Avoid if you value your time. Poor communication and shocking service, good luck to any tenant renting with this company. Also the reviews on here must be either fake or from family friends etc .. very suspicious Edit: Replying publicly whilst still ignoring me privately is pretty funny and makes even more of a mockery to your business

Negative experience: Seem a reasonable company if you are a property owner however had a bad experience with them letting a property on Air BnB. Cancelled with minimal notice and no real reasoning apart from change of circumstances. This could be genuine enough but week before London Marathon has left me with a huge problem. Could be an honest unforeseen circumstance but I would be weary if using through Air B&B as profile would suggest this isn't something they do as core business.

Negative experience: Rubbish experience. I had booked to see a flat on Stockwell Park Road and even emailed beforehand to confirm the exact location. They had the chance to correct me but didn’t. When I showed up, they took me to a completely different property on the same street. When I called to ask what had happened, the woman on the phone was indifferent and unhelpful, claiming the property I wanted had been taken yet didn’t tell me before I turned up to the viewing + it’s still listed online. Feels like a sneaky tactic to get people to view the less desirable properties. Total waste of time. Wouldn’t trust this company.

Fantastic experience: First off let me start by saying I very rarely leave reviews but I can honestly say dealing with S Stone management (My agent was Daniel) was THE BEST experience I have ever had with a lettings agency! At every step of the process he went above and beyond to make sure I was supported, well informed and communicated with! Daniel was phenomenal, I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough.

Negative experience: So unprofessional. Had a viewing for a flat and never informed me that the viewing was cancelled. No email or a call back. Called them back and they told me they left 2 voicemails which were not true as my last voicemail was 3 days ago.
