Positive experience: Managed to get me moved pretty quickly. Sometimes calling to update me without any update was annoying. Not sure why the agent had to go next door to photocopy a photo of keys and make me wait 5 minutes but I’m sure they’ll find a reason. Negative experience: We put our house in the market to sell, however service was very disappointing. They were very keen to get the survey and conveyancing team to try and get a deposit of almost £300 from us before any viewings took place. Very difficult to get hold of for updates and only when I emailed the Regional Director Neil Parker I would then all of a sudden get a call from the Manager. We had the property on the market for 2 months and only came up with 2 viewings from the same person. I strongly advise anyone reading this to please use a different agent.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the service we’ve received. The process was made easy, the property went to auction, and the team at Leaders Portsmouth (Michael & co) made an astonishing 29 viewings on the property! The house sold quickly, and valuation price was very close to the sale price so very happy. They link into their auction house, and have links to a solicitor for the conveyancing. Not as stressful as expected! Would happily use them again.

Positive experience: Annie provided welcome help during a difficult period in between lets and quickly found a tenant for my flat. Sometimes it felt like there were several separate people dealing and a period of 2 weeks with no updates and me chasing for information.hence 4 not 5 stars. In the end everything turned out OK but one flat detail mentioned were forgotten which caused me to have to rush down to remedy. I appreciated the inventory service offered

Negative experience: Awful experience with Leaders. Paid £75 for an end of tenancy clean, only to still be charged £120 after checks had been done. ‘Carpet clean and floors to be moped’ £120 !!! Didn’t provide receipt evidence for this even after requesting several times, instead we received a random quote from a random email. No business name, contact number, or description of the job! For disputes, they use a company that they pay a monthly subscription for, so of course it is bias towards them. Not to mention you get charged to dispute (something which is against the law to do) . Would avoid at all costs to be honest

Negative experience: I would advise caution when dealing with this company. Unfortunately, this has been the worst letting agency I’ve dealt with at the end of tenacity. I was charged £96 for "missing" cushion buttons that were actually present. Despite providing evidence, my complaint was ignored. Multiple requests to recheck the buttons, which would have resolved the issue, were dismissed. I had to rely on the current tenant to prove the buttons were there. It's disappointing that I even then, was asked to pay for non-existent damage, and my attempts to escalate the issue led to no action being taken. I had to pay it at the end! Update after customer services reply: Thank you for your response. I have forwarded the relevant details to this email as requested. I would like to bring to your attention this issue I have previously raised and shared to the email attached, but unfortunately the issue has not been resolved. Despite providing your team with evidence at that time, including photos showing that the cushions were not missing and were in perfect condition, I was still asked to pay £96 for the supposed "missing" cushions. I was informed that nothing could be done, and I will have to pay (for a non-existing damage)!. I have now forwarded this email again in the hope that this matter will be reviewed and handled differently this time. Thank you for your attention to this issue. UPDATE after 2 weeks from sending the required info as requested and I heard nothing yet sop far; I sent all the required information over two weeks ago, yet I’ve received no follow-up or response, which is quite concerning. Please take care when dealing with this company.

Fantastic experience: I had a positive experience 2years ago in my previous rent with Leaders lettings. With that experience, I have to approach the team again which was even a better positive one this time around. Sarah and the team members at Leaders Portsmouth were so nice and friendly, ready to explain and answer any question I raised concerning my rent. I'll recommend you to anyone in need of property to rent.

Negative experience: Awful experience! Staff worked out incorrectly how much rent was daily including NDO. This resulting in issues with keeping the account up to date. When I called to try resolve this the staff were rude. Reported no heating several times and this was never resolved. I was heavily pregnant with no heating and then had a newborn in the property with no heating (winter 2023). I will never recommend such a terrible company and highly suggest if you’re looking for properties to stay clear of leaders. Cannot express the upset and stress they caused me during what is suppose to be such an important time in my life.

Negative experience: A very bad estate agents. They use and have been using high pressure sales tactics and coercive control over several decades. Nobody trusts them in this area. Be aware of these very corrupt practises by these rogue estate agents. They also persistently broke COVID rules as well during the COVID pandemic. No thank you for the response. I have been totally put off from the very bad service and I would never accept your apology for such a tragic unforgiveable irreparable harm you have already done.
