She ensured that she updates us timely and even given us reassurance while on the process. Feedback for Emma: (when my husband was locked out of the flat) On a Friday afternoon, my husband accidentally left the keys inside our flat and found himself locked out. As this had never happened to us before, it was a very stressful situation, especially as I was at work at the time. I contacted the office feeling worried that it would be difficult to get help so late in the day. Emma responded with exceptional kindness and efficiency. Despite it being close to the end of the working day and knowing that she was already on her way out of work, she went to the flat within less than five minutes to let my husband back in. Her willingness to help under those circumstances was incredibly reassuring and deeply appreciated. Emma’s support turned a very stressful situation into a positive experience, and her commitment and compassion did not go unnoticed. Feedback regarding the loss of power in our bedroom sockets: When we experienced a loss of power from the sockets in our bedroom, the team responded promptly and willingly offered their help. They clearly explained what had happened and were able to identify the issue very quickly. The problem was resolved efficiently, and we truly appreciated how swiftly and professionally it was handled. Their clear communication and readiness to assist made the situation much easier for us.

Negative experience: I used Northwood when purchasing my first home and unfortunately had a poor experience. The estate agent I dealt with came across as condescending and insensitive, which made the process quite uncomfortable. I didn’t feel confident in his honesty or approach, and his manner didn’t reflect the level of professionalism I would expect during such an important purchase. Being discouraged from getting a survey was also particularly concerning. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t use Northwood again or recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly recomment Simon at Northwood. He is very good. He came to see my mum's house on 6th Feb, as did one other estate agent. Both recommended the same asking price, and both charged 1% - but Northwood included the EPC, and the other did not. We instructed him on February 11. He found us a buyer and we accepted an offer for 97.5% of the asking price on April 8, 56 days after instruction. He kept us informed throughout (including chasing up slow solicitors), and gave good advice. We have now completed. No hesitation at all in recommending Simon, the best estate agent I have ever dealt with.

Fantastic experience: We have been renting a property with Northwood for about a year and a half, and they have consistently been a pleasure to deal with. Anita and Gillian have been incredibly helpful to us, especially throughout the last few months. Losing my first buyer, was met with swift action to re-market the property, whilst maintaining transparency to others in our small chain. Positive experience: Northwood are easy to contact, respond very quickly and are very friendly. Moving in was hassle free, although I did have to sign and date every single page of a 45 page inventory which felt a bit excessive. The property was relatively clean when I moved in, although there were some glaring oversights - it was not a professional clean. Issues with the property were quickly fixed.

Fantastic experience: Northwood have been my letting agent for 8 yrs. They acquired my business initially using a crafty but clever move to compete with another agent by offering the first 3 months with no letting fee. Even without doing that, I would highly recommend them. I've had NO trouble whatsoever under their fully managed scheme at 10%. You can always get hold of staff, maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and fairly when it comes to price. Even when it came to selling my property, their sales team worked closely with lettings and despite a slump in property sales, they've negotiated a sale, on top of which my tenant showed signs of not moving out when asked. Due to the professionalism of staff, Northwood handled the situation so well, my tenant left with no need for legal action. Seriously cannot recommend Northwood enough. Thank you all of you for making my life as a landlord and vendor a painless and profitable experience.

Fantastic experience: This has to be the best estate agent I’ve used. Always on hand to help. The staff are friendly and very helpful especially the maintenance team. The two ladies on the maintenance side do their job to a high stand without them i would not have the standard of trades people to help fix things when there is a problem. They are on hand and get on to it straight away. If you want an estate agents, I highly recommend Northwood.
