Fantastic experience: My experience of listing our house with Blundells in Hillsborough has been overwhelmingly positive throughout. The valuation was done efficiently, and the documentation was prepared quickly. Potential buyers arrived almost as soon as the Sale Board was put up, and within a few days, we'd accepted an offer for our house, which is now proceeding to completion. While all the staff have been most helpful, Jenson Bemrose has clearly been the driving force.

Fantastic experience: My property became vacant at short notice. I contacted Blundells, because they have done both tenant find and full management for me before. Liam was very good at establishing what rent was attainable, and quickly getting it on the market. As soon as the old tenant left we had viewings, and Maddy was in charge of that and did a great job. We did a full redec and changed appliances in the kitchen, and it was only 14 days from tenant leaving to new tenant taking possession. That's certainly a record for me. So full marks to both Liam and Maddie, and I would recommend Blundells Hillsborough to everyone. Thanks.

Negative experience: I would not advise anyone - whether you’re a landlord or a tenant - to do business with Blundells. Their property management service is simply not acceptable. Despite repeated attempts to get in touch, including emails to different managers and to their parent company Countrywide, the issue remains unresolved and most emails have been ignored. The property management team has failed to respond, leaving the tenant completely in the dark and without the urgent repairs they need. It is unacceptable that a tenant is forced to chase third parties (such as myself) just to find out what is happening, when the responsibility for action lies with Blundells. This level of neglect shows a clear lack of care and professionalism. Since leaving this review, the branch has tried contacting me to tell me to remove it. They stated that it was not their fault because their client had not paid the money - despite Blundells assuring me that the payment would be made. Blundells need to stick to the agreements and assurances they gave me, rather than shifting responsibility elsewhere. Instead of asking me to take down my review, they should be contacting me to apologise and to explain why dozens of emails were ignored. To date, the property manager has still not responded and they never gave me an explanation. I also submitted a data request under GDPR, which was not answered within the required timeframe, so they have also failed to comply with GDPR which is concerning. I will be reporting them to the ICO. Blundells is also part of the Connells Group, which was featured in a recent BBC Panorama investigation.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Maddy, Liam and Brooklyn, a lot for finding us a beautiful place we can call home and I want to say not only just that the support and kindness we have received through the process was really welcoming and amazing no difficulties we have had a happy and joyful experience. However, my house sale in Essex has taken forever with a few false starts. Blundells have been so patient and because of the distance I cannot always view houses, so Blundells have taken videos. Great service and communication with Chelsea.

Fantastic experience: Valuer (Scott Jenkins - Hillsborough branch) was extremely helpful and positive about the sale of my house - I would have no hesitation in recommending this agency to anyone wishing to sell a property in the areas they cover.

Negative experience: I have been in the process of buying a property via the Blundells Hillsborough branch since March 2024. The process has been plagued by abysmal communication from Blundells and, even worse, service from their in-house recommended solicitors. On multiple occasions, the estate agents have agreed to answer our queries but never return calls, while the solicitors have sat on the information and refused to act on it. The process has been going on for circa six months with no end. Avoid this estate agent and solicitors at all costs.

Positive experience: Hi, I liked the size of the house and the location. It would take a lot of changes to get it up to a modern standed basically gutting the inside. Great size garden, but a lot of work entailed in sorting the garden. I would be interested if the price was lower as I think it would cost at least 50/60 thousand to get it to where I would be happy to live in it.

Fantastic experience: Moving is stressful in general and with the renting market as it is we were particularly worried to be making a big move from London to Sheffield. I spoke to many Sheffield based lettings agents who were dismissive and unmovable about viewings but, Blundells is entirely different in the best way! They gave us great freedom around when we'd be in Sheffield to see properties. The staff are all lovely from the moment you pick up the phone even for small questions. Hannah, Isabelle and Amy in particular are exactly the type of person you need when moving: calm, compassionate and caring. We have now sorted a brilliant let in a wonderful area and it was hassle free. When complete Blundells passed us to the private landlord with ease and peace of mind which is just what I needed starting in a new city. The day we picked up our keys they were just as nice in person as on the phone! We even got a welcome package full of useful things you forget to have straight at the top of the moving boxes like toothpaste. Couldn't recommend more thank you so much Blundells.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling service trying to rent a house through this company even with fully managed service. Mistake after mistake both for myself and my tenants. The final straw was failing to let me know my last tenants hadn’t renewed their tenancy and the house was sat unoccupied! I would strongly recommend using another letting agent in the area. It’s not worth the headache and stress with Blundells.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Blundells Estate Agents, the first meeting we had was with with Hayley who came out to Value the property and talk us through the process of the sale , she explained everything very clearly and outlined the cost and the process and made it sound straight forward. we agreed and things happened very quickly, the for sale sign was up the next day and the house was online soon after and viewings booked. Marie in the Blundells office kept us updated daily on who was going to view the property and when. Very efficient service and after 2 weeks the house was sold and things started moving. Marie kept in touch with us all the way through the sale and kept us informed of the buyers situation. We had a few hiccups with our solicitor but Marie gave us advice on what to do which helped the sale move along. When the house sale was ready to complete she contacted the buyer and arranged for us to meet and hand over the keys to the buyer . Nothing was too much trouble for the team we had dealing with our sale and their kind and friendly manner made what should have been a stressful time plain sailing.
