Fantastic experience: As a first-time buyer, I wasn’t entirely sure about the process or where to start, but Sue from the Stockbridge branch was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From arranging the first viewing right through to the completion date, she kept me informed every step of the way, which really helped put my mind at ease, especially when things in the chain were not going smoothly. She was always quick to reply to emails and always available on the phone whenever I had a question. Her support, communication, and reassurance throughout the whole process made a huge difference. I truly couldn’t recommend her highly enough. In fact, I think Sue was more excited about the completion of the chain than I was, which just shows how much time, care, and energy she puts into helping her clients.

Fantastic experience: A very strange house selling experience, we put the house up for sale with Saxton Mee, everything was going smoothly, happy with all that Saxton Mee did, we got the full asking price within a week only for a bus to hit the house that same day! That sale fell through due to repair taking over 6 months. The house was listed again & quite there was quite a bit of interest, but there was a worry that the bus crash would put people off, but the people that actually bought the house, when they viewed it the first words were "is this the house the bus hit" so it didn't put them off. The Saxton Mee staff were excellent from start to finish, due to the issue of the bus crash which brought up a lot of problems that they probably hadn't had the deal with before, there were numerous delays which they dealt with very promptly, they kept us up to date & were pushing both sets of solicitors to keep things moving. Thanks to Sue Smyth for her up beat attitude throughout the sale process. From the first time the house was listed for sale until it was finally sold took over 14 months, we would definitely recommend Saxton Mee at Stocksbridge. Thanks Rob & Gillian.

The selling took a lot longer than expected due to external companies and individuals, but Saxton Mee have chased and pushed things through the entire time whenever they could, and they endeavoured to get us the best prices for both houses we were selling. A really down to earth individual who could cut through a lot of the legal talk and pushed the solicitors on either side of us in the chain to keep things moving.

Positive experience: Saxton Mee as a whole sold my house in a week, brilliant marketing, fantastic photos for the brochure. Sue and her colleagues in the office were really good and couldn't do enough for me throughout the process. My only disappointment was the manager Gregg over charging me with the initial cost of their services at well over what should have been the 1% selling price. After a phone call to Sue it was sorted however it did make me doubt my first impressions of Saxton Mee due to this .

Fantastic experience: I had a very lengthy sale period (Aug 24 to Mar 25) due to my buyer initially struggling to get a mortgage and then various admin delays followed. However, throughout the whole period Sue and the other staff at Saxton-Mee, Stocksbridge kept me informed of progress and the delays, they assisted my buyer to get a mortgage and they were excellent throughout the whole process, even when I was clearly getting frustrated with the numerous delays. They kept me on track even when I was considering putting the house back on the market and their sage advice throughout the process was invaluable. Fantastic experience: We chose saxton mee as our estate agents when we decided it was time for our last ever house move. We contacted the office and Greg came out to value our property, he gave us a good honest valuation we were happy with, no pipedreams or inflated prices like some we have seen, just bang on the money. Photos and brochure done in no time and sold in the first 2 weeks. However, we ended up in a very large chain that left plenty of potential for things to go wrong (which they did, several times) but Sue, our case handler and negotiator was just fantastic, she kept us informed at all times, calling even when there were no real updates just to put us at ease. (This is the total opposite of the service we got from blundells who we were purchasing from, 3 calls in 6 months, terrible service) But we got there eventually and it would have been a horrendous experience without Sue and Sam's help at saxton mee, they really did help us through a tough time. Thoroughly recommended.
