Positive experience: My experience with this estate agent was mediocre at best. Despite charging a higher commission than several other agents we considered, the service felt far from polished. The initial assurances we were given didn’t match what we experienced throughout the process, leaving us increasingly disappointed. Fantastic experience: I am a property deal sourcer and you may not know what that means. It means I go to properties, look at them, work out the financial side of things and compile a report for a property investor. That takes about 4-6 hours and that doesn't include travel time. A property investor does not have the time, inclination, motivation or the energy to do this. An investor's time is better spent on other things. There is one property investor who you may have heard of. You may or may not like him but I am sure you have heard of a certain Donald J Trump. Mr. Trump has not got the time, inclination, motivation or energy to go and view a property, take photos, make a floor plan, do the financials etc spending 4-6 hours doing this. He has better things to do with his time. I have dealt with the Crookes and Crystal Peaks branch of Haybrook Estate agents. With a Haybrook property that 4-6 hours is cut down to 1-2 hours at most. The online brochure has near enough all the information I need to make my report. They always have professionally taken photos, floor plans, the council tax banding, rental information, tenure details, ground rental details etc. The only missing information I need is found on seeing the property and the vendor, such as why is the vendor selling or what amenities are nearby, local public transport routes etc. This is stuff you can only find out by looking at the property. When an email comes through about a Haybrook property it is a gift from heaven. I can look at the online brochure and make at least 3/4 of my report for investors before I even see the property. When I turn up, I can assure you that the representative can give the answer to anything else I need on the spot. I have dealt with McKenzie and Nicola who are both excellent at what they do. I could not believe how they both just reeled off the answers to my questions. I live round the corner from the Crookes branch and friends who have rented properties through Haybrook and I can tell you that if something breaks down then it is looked at and sorted very quickly. The properties they rent out are top notch and well looked after. I promise you that if you look after a Haybrook property they'll look after you. Although I am saying this from the opposite end I can tell you that if you are looking for a property you simply cannot go wrong by going through Haybrook. If you look at the online brochure then you'll have all the information you need to make an instant decision and see what meets your budget. So the usual questions. Are they worth the money? I'd say if you are looking at a Haybrook property you'll be getting a good value well kept property. Would I recommend them to anyone else? All day every day. Would I use them again? If I had a property to sell I'd use them all day long. What would I recommend to the public? As I said above you simply cannot go wrong by using their excellent services.

Positive experience: Very professional service by Isabelle, who showed me around a property at short notice and was very happy to take as long as I needed to look around. Not once did I feel hurried or that I wasn't the number one priority. All services are available in-house which has really taken the headache out of something that can be a very stressful experience. 4/5 stars as initially I did have to call twice to get to speak to Isabelle which was frustrating, but plain sailing from that point on. Levi Ruzicka came back to me straight away and provided information on like for like houses in the area which were being sold at the time. This should be very helpful in matters of sorting out my father’s will and estate. This level of service is very much appreciated and will be remembered when the time comes to actually sell it.

Negative experience: So I know no one has high hopes for estate agents but I really did not think they would be this unprofessional. I cannot imagine another agency not communicating with each other and be so disorganised as this branch. I called to put an offer in to a house and a gentleman took my details. Yet when my husband followed up with it, apparently I magically didn’t phone/ it didn’t exist. If you ever have the displeasure to deal with Nicola Siddall please avoid. She only acts in the interest of the vendors and offers no solutions despite buyers being just as valuable in the process as vendors. She is just very rude in general and will badger you. I guess be aware of all of this if you have to choose these estate agents. Take your business elsewhere otherwise or ask for another agent.

I've blocked their number but they are still insistent in clogging up my voicemail inbox regarding properties that have absolutely nothing to do with them. Tread lightly giving Haybrook your details as you will never hear the last of them.
