Fantastic experience: We've rented from We've Let Homes for 6 years and always been happy with them. Amanda and her team have sorted any issues such as the boiler stopped working very quickly and having a new one installed. The rent payments are very fair prices especially in todays market. The kids have always looked forward to seeing Amanda and she always made time for them. We would have stayed renting from them however we've only moved on because we have bought our own house. We wish Amanda and her team all the best with their business and should I come across anyone looking for a rented property, I will always suggest We Let Homes.

Negative experience: Very bad management you never get your deposit back when you rent from them

Fantastic experience: We have used WELETHOMES for a number of years as landlords. We have nothing but good to say about Amanda and her team. Always at the end of the phone to help with anything we need. I generally speak to the office at least once a week. Everything is always dealt with in a professional manner, and nothing is too much trouble for the team. Negative experience: I had previously lived at a property rented out by we let homes after moving out I went to collect my post as some had still be delivered there along with 2 parcels when I went to collect said parcels after arranging a time with Lesley there was no show so the work men gave me my post and no parcels they looked in the house but we’re unable to find them I rang the agency and Lesley answered the phone I explained what happened and she couldn’t have been more uninterested or rude she said it was nothing to do with them and she couldn’t help but I had confirmation that parcels were posted through the letter box so either a work man or the agency had took them. Wouldn’t recommend very rude they didn’t seem to care someone who worked for them was stealing.

Negative experience: My daughter's friend has moved quite a long way from her home town to live in Rotherham. She visited a few properties and found one that was ideal. She was given a moving in date....HOWEVER, the basement is leaking and she's still waiting for a gas safety check. Workmen have cancelled on her twice now - after she's waited for them ! Also the previous tenant had lots of debt on both electricity and gas meters and it's been left to my daughter's friend to sort it out - which is proving VERY difficult! Her moving in date was a week ago and she still cannot move in! I have rented privately in the past and have never known anything like this!

Negative experience: Not great at all. Viewed a property which was hard to get sorted, was told there was another coming up that was more modern and I said I would take it but if it didn't come up, I'd still want the other. The person I dealt with said she would call me and keep me informed. This didn't happen so I chased twice and was told 'nothing yet'. Now the first property has gone and the second doesn't seem to be coming available so I'm now without any and wanted to live on the road it was on for years. They very rarely come up. Had this been a more professional outlet, I'd be moving now. No calls, no sorry. Don't sound bothered at all. Avoid.

Negative experience: I rang these people after being told by the manager that they would serve notice on the neighbors they put next door to me they are vile lying nasty toads and these agents army much better are the y even regulated my guess is not

Negative experience: I've been a tenant with this company & all I can say is AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. All they do is just paint over the cracks so to speak. They don't care that people are living in slums, Aslong as they get their money!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a tenant via we let homes for nearly 8 months now. I have to say the service you receive from these letting agents is second to none. Any queries or concerns you have are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and they work tirelessly to make sure that any issue is resolved quickly and that you are happy. I am very pleased with the service received so far and would highly recommend them to any tenant.

They are always available and willing to give advice and solve problems. They treat your properties as though they were the owners. This kind of hands on service is rare nowadays. Fantastic experience: Amanda has been managing my properties for many, many years and I have also dealt with We Let Homes from its formation, they manage quite a number of my properties and I now have long term, happy tenants. The company is very professional to deal with. And I know that my tenants are very happy and have been treated very well - that is why I never have vacant properties. There are some defamatory Reviews on here - but they are the vocal minority being selective with their comments, and probably encouraged by the competition, which I know for definite is very fierce in this part of the country, however as is the case with all problem reviews on this search engine, it is impossible to get them to do anything about them - unless you have oodles of money to instruct solicitors. There is absolutely no procedure to allow people to question or counter defamatory reviews. No process for recourse whatsoever. You can report hate speech or flag something as off topic but that's it!

My flat was over run with drug users, I informed this company who simply didn't care about anything but their rent and by the way...... you'll never get your deposit back in a million years. Stay Clear of We Let Homes.

Fantastic experience: I have found we let homes to respond to complaints quickly. Lynn Hoffman's complaint was personal and unfounded. Both Amanda and Lesley are very helpful ladies . There family namely Ricky is such a helpful man. He will find the problem. We never had an issue with call out times whenever we had a complaint. As for the heating there was no thermostat in the property hence why we had no heating it was summer when we moved in and we never even looked for the thermostat it was only when winter came that we looked for it two days later we had a brand new one installed. We let's didn't even realise so there for it was not there fault. I can't fault Amanda and Lesley. For being patient whilst waiting for money. Or our shortfall. Which they did . When they come to got a fence they are sure it was the best one and would last year's. So all in all I can't fault Amanda and Lesley. Who go out of there way to make sure you are happy. And to be honest i wouldn't have even moved from our address. X

Negative experience: Time wasters, very bad service.

Negative experience: The woman Amanda hasn't got a clue about rent etc... She will ring you one minute and say you owe more then you do she's very money orentated quick at getting the rent pity Amanda is not quick enough to get the work done. I Wouldnt recommend renting of these at all we lived in a property for 17 month more then half the time we had no heating and then Amanda who runs it sent her son to fix it Then in the whole time of living there we ended up with no heating as he was always in a rush and when the radiators did work they only got warm about 4 inch up we rang them he came out and said they worked and sent us a bill for £30 for coming out no work done no nothing and we still didn't have heat even thou we had a tiny baby. We had no bathroom wall for over 6 month which ment no heating in there either then when they came to fix it she sent her brother who messed it up more. So we was without heating for longer till they sent someone out who knew what they was doing so all they Christmas last year we had no proper heating no wall in the bathroom and no radiator in there and to top it off my wife was pregnant. It was summer before it all was fixed and it was September when the wall got took down !!. The house was riddled in damp we asked and rung them on numerous occasions and nothing got fixed well it was till in a horrible state when we moved. We had a smashed window for over 2 month we had to yape black bags onto the inside to keep the heat in we had a tiny baby in the house who we had to take to hospital due to being so cold it made her ill. To top it all we had to pay for a new kitchen as the way they expected us to live a tramp wouldn't of even wanted to eat in there. Then some bright spark came this year when it was freezing and drilled a 6 inch hole above the back door put a thick white pipe into it and just left it all downstairs was like a wind tunnel we had to stand on a chair amd stuff it with tea towels when then again rang them for the 11th time someone came out and stuffed the hole and wedged the tube in place with white kitchen roll and then left it must admit that's amazing maintenance work wouldn't you say ? We paid for a new stairs carpet cause the carpet that was down was that thin no underlay either it not only looked terrible they was unsafe as the people they got to fit it didnt put grippers down so we had to nail it to the stairs till we could afford to get it fixed we also rang and told them about this and Amamda just dismissed it as per usual. We left all chandeliers in the house when we left the kitchen we even had a new double sink fitted with expensive tap and a new 5 ring hob new worktops high gloss doors and handles that cost £6 each and that was only cause we spent so much on the doors for it. Please be careful when letting off these they are full of empty promises and they only get her family to fix things and then they mess things up. We also had a new water fall glass tap and new sink and expensive unit for underneath it And now they are now disputing our deposit after all we did in the property !!!! I can post pics of the damp etc.. and the work we did I will be taking them to court stay well clear. Lesley and Alison are lovely and really want things to get fixed when they come out to see what needs doing there hands seem to be tied by Amanda she has the first and last say I wouldn't mind she never leaves the office you WILL hear off her if YOUR rent is due and then it's never right lol but not for anything else. If you ever get a phone call regarding your rent ask her to have a good look at it when your rent benefit has been taken into consideration or she will take take take one minute she rang our rent we owed was £500 my wife said ring me when you take our housing benefit into account it went to £130 wouldn't mind she would of happily taken the full £500 off us. We are seeking advice from a solicitor at the min as were not letting this drop we are entitled to our deposit back in full. The conditions we had to live in was terrible I do have pictures to prove this. Be careful please

Positive experience: My daughters mum has been with We Let Homes for over 2 years now. She isnt well so I help with the admin of running the house even though I dont live there. - They don't hassle her if shes a bit late with the rent. Usually respond to issues with 24 hours and can get a repair man in within 3-5 days. Alot better than most agents I've had to deal with in the past.

Fantastic experience: The girls that work here are lovely

Negative experience: DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Flooded my home while their plumber was supposed to be working on a blocked plug hole and left the tap running over night. Refused it acknowledge their error or put me in touch with the plumber. Strenuously denied, defended and lied about their actions even though noone else had access to the house. Caused irreperable structural damage to the house, never fixed any issues with the porperty and could barely string a coherant email together. Abysmally incompetant.

Negative experience: Bad experience :( they charge 150£ for nothing. After i payed that they've asked for 50£ more and a guarantor. They are not telling all details at the begining and so you end up scammed. I recomand you go to another agency.
