Negative experience: We were shown a property with an Agent called George who was by far the worst estate agent ive had the pleasure of meeting. He did not formally introduce himself, no handshakes and we (myself and partner) felt as though he had made judgments on us instantly. He did not answer a single question in relation to the property, could not answer basic questions such as how long the sellers had lived at the property! He did not show any real passion to sell the house. Showed the company in a very poor light.

James and Ellie Mai sifted through numerous enquiries to identify the one serious buyer who ultimately completed the purchase. Negative experience: edit: still finding water damage. Spent around 30K now and having to hire professional dehumidifier too. It should be illegal to sell properties like this pretending it's livable. So dissapointed. Sold us a house with 20K worth of repais in hidden faults. Looked dry and good when we visited both times. Had a friend property consultant point out some obvious minor repairs and no major concerns. As soon as we moved in the house started to become damp and overgrown with mold. They must have been drying it out and getting it cleaned up before our visits?!... I was already pregnant and my baby was born with a heart problem needing surgery probably due to unhealthy living conditions...avoid avoid avoid

Negative experience: A one star is simply because after months of unnecessary delays caused by this estate agent we got the house we purchased. Though we were the purchasers through this estate agent , it was clear that they have absolutely zero interest in customer care and were not interested in caring for a purchaser of a property that they are trying to sell. Every customer call we didn’t have our appointed staff member available & had to leave messages which were not passed on or miscommunicated. We had an inquiry about the property during the purchase and had a very clear request from our solicitor; that the seller needed to get building regs certification at their cost . Through the total inadequacy of any understanding of this request we ended up with 8 weeks of delay and the seller being misunderstood on actions they were required to do to . Also this estate agent telling the seller that they didn’t need to pay for a survey that would be .. incorrectly our … responsibility. Fortunately our solicitor went above & beyond for us and got everything resolved. This however was not the end of the saga as this estate agent did not correctly complete with keys & lied to our solicitors that they had keys for the property when they did not . This was completion without possession and an absolutely sickening situation to be in. When we got to the office to physically get the keys we were not even acknowledged . Simply shoved an envelope saying that she didn’t know what key was for what . The absolute cheek that overall there was no apologies given and no congratulations… this is not just lacking customer service but basic civil manners. I would never sell or view a house with estate agent.

Fantastic experience: Crook & Blight were the letting agents when I was renting from a private landlord. Always helpful and Anthony who would come and do the regular inspections always put forward any issues I was having

Negative experience: Feel sorry for the vendors of Marshfield Road selling their house with this agent. We have never experienced such difficulty in booking a viewing on a property. We enquired via rightmove and after much going back and forth, we confirmed viewing times to then be advised they were taken. I actually called the agents and advised of the difficulty we were having with communication and Holly had said people were on sick leave and maternity so things were slower than usual but would move things around to get us booked in and call me back. I never had that call nor a reply to my email again attempting to view this house. Whilst we appreciate they may be short staffed, the service shouldn't fall below standard and it has here. We have accepted an offer on our property and out of the houses we have seen, this house was our favourite but given how horrendous the communication and service has been, we are massively frustrated and now put off. We would have likely offered on this house but the barriers we have faced already give us huge alarm bells for proceeding with any sale with these agents. AVOID!!!!
