Negative experience: I was interested in three properties with Darlows over the past 12+ months and lost all three — not due to competition, but because of poor communication and concealed facts about the properties. This cost me both time and money. Extremely disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: Bethan from Darlows Rumney Branch has been absolutely amazing at supporting us to sell our property and purchase another. From start to finish Bethan has been very motivated, very focussed and keep great communication through out the whole process. Bethan offered support, encouragement, advice and guidance and really pushed to get us that completion date as quick as she could. I was also very pleased with how the team all worked to get together with getting our house on the market, securing a great price and they all chipped in to help when needed, thanks and and especially to Bethan.

Negative experience: Premium price but not premium service - if I were to buy/sell again in Cardiff, I would choose an emerging provider that is more than half the price. I hosted my own viewing due to the estate agent not leaving enough time and all I did was chase for updates throughout the process. I don’t mind paying if I feel like I’m getting the aligned service but this was absolutely not the case.

Negative experience: Horribly unprofessional! Exhusband moved out for two years and had been cashed out, the property was never agreed by me to put on sale with them, Rhys Lewis first came around my property without consent took a front picture of my property with my car registration number clearly shown, I emailed them and phoned them to take it down, they only blurry it out afterwards. A month later, they sent me a email regarding upgrading to featured property for free? With Hi “exhusband name” to start with? I have never given consent to them to use my own personal email address and never given consent for sale. Guess what? the email address shows it was from Ryhs Lewis again. Either he has no professional codes in his heart or the whole company has not. If this is not getting sorted soon. I will have to take legal actions.

Fantastic experience: I chose to use Darlows because of their expert local knowledge and of prospective buyers. From the initial meeting and throughout the whole sales process, my experience of their service was excellent. As I did not live in the property or reside in Cardiff, I was reliant on Darlows for everything. They did not disappoint - my property was marketed and sold stc within 2 weeks. Nadia Refae, the agent who handled the sale, did a super job too. She was extremely helpful and kept me fully informed of progress throughout the sale, liaising with all parties and chasing when necessary. As I did not have a solicitor, I was also very happy with the one Nadia recommended.

Fantastic experience: We’re currently living in Exmouth looking to move to Rumney. We viewed a house with Thomas who was very friendly and helpful. What has set Thomas apart from any other estate agent is how he stayed in touch even though he has only met us once and even contacted a branch of his company near to us In Torquay to see if they would be interested in selling our house as the agent we were using at the time was useless. In a specific instance of being indecisive following an offer on a property, upon contacting Darlows I was in conversation with Adam Robjohn. He provided a friendly but professional service while being frank with his response. Fantastic experience: Having to cope with two cantankerous 70 year olds is a challenge for anyone but Emma Jones managed to approach the issue with patience, politeness and a positive attitude ready to face the challenges that she knew would be forthcoming.
