Fantastic experience: Ben Blacker helped us sell our home in Welwyn, and we had an offer at the asking price within 24 hours. During conveyancing, the buyer had a change of circumstances that put the sale in doubt. We were about 80% sure we'd put the house back on the market and look for a new buyer. Ben did all the due diligence, set out our options clearly and gave us his honest advice. We're glad we listened, because the sale went through to completion. Ben isn't only great at selling. He's excellent at managing the whole process through to completion, and his advice is calm and sound, almost like a therapist! Fantastic experience: We put our house on the market with Bryan Bishop in May 2025 having felt the valuation that Ben Blacker provided was realistic. The photos that the photographer Matt took were amazing as was the brochure provided by Sarah. There was much interest in our property and there were many viewings. At the beginning of August we received several offers including one for the full asking price from a cash buyer. We accepted the offer and completed the sale at the end of October. It seemed like a very quick sale to us and we were delighted that it didn't drag on. Throughout the process Ben Shaw and Ben Blacker were great providing much assistance and advice. Fantastic experience: We all ‘know’ moving is one of the most stressful things you can go through but it’s only when you are actually going through it that you truly understand just how complicated, frustrating and emotional it is. Ben and Ben rode the moving rollercoaster with us from start to finish. It was a particularly tricky process and we nearly walked away/lost our chain several times. At every point, Ben and Ben were there to encourage, commiserate, support and cajole us - absorbing huge amounts of stress. We laughed and cried in equal measure and their door was quite literally always open. We didn’t always get it right - I’ve now realised that’s an impossible goal with house moves - but we knew they were as committed to our move as we were and we’d use them again in a heart beat (not that we’re EVER moving again)! It might seem odd to be leaving a good review for the representative on the other side of the transaction, but it goes to show how great Ben is. The purchase was at some points quite stressful and the risk of everything falling apart felt heightened. The pressures putting the whole sale at risk were from our end (due to issues our buyers were having with the purchase of our house at the time).
