Have had a couple of issues in the past, but they seem to have a more dedicated team again now - a good thing, as changes of personnel makes life more complicated; Talyia has been particularly helpful over issues with our flats, she seems to be quick to address matters when they rise on either side of the tenancies.

Fantastic experience: Always had a good experience with Thomas Child's Letting,its been a year with them and the staff are all helpful and special shout out to Talyia Naidoo as she is my go to girl, everytime l have an issue always helpful and making sure everything has been sorted and alright.

Negative experience: I would not trust the integrity or expertise of Thomas & Childs. We agreed an offer on a property in December 2025. From the outset, there were inconsistencies between the title plan and the actual plot, which we raised. We were reassured by the agent that there was no issue and that the seller would cover the cost of searches if anything arose. Based on that reassurance, we proceeded. Unfortunately, those concerns proved valid. Part of the garden was not properly registered to the property, which ultimately led us to withdraw from the purchase. When we sought to recover our search costs, the agent distanced themselves entirely, directing us to the solicitors, while the seller refused to reimburse us. This was particularly disappointing given the earlier assurances that influenced our decision to proceed.

Positive experience: Friendly, efficient service with solid advice; they sorted my probate paperwork quickly, saving me stress during a difficult family week.

While having an absolute nightmare of a sale using another party Sharon was constantly on the case, always giving me prompt updates or simply checking in. Negative experience: Friendly, efficient, and really straightforward for the initial rental process. Maintenance however, I moved in August and requested instruction on my heating/hot water controls. 3 months later and I've been left to figure this out for myself and incurred hefty utility bills as a result.
