Positive experience: My initial appointment with Steve Hibberd was friendly but professional. He asked lots of questions and treated my house in Bengeo as a home and not a house. Lisa and Sam arranged viewings, but I decided to do the viewings myself. (After all, I knew the house better than anyone!) The house was sold in a relatively short time. The communication from Lisa and Sam was very good. As the sale progressed, Lisa’s expertise and professionalism was apparent. Fantastic experience: I was a first time renter and literally had no idea what to do or what to look for. As you do, I engaged with many agents and it was proving really hard to find somewhere. Steven Oates were in a different league. They found me the perfect place and as a managing agent the service they provided was unreal. No problem was too small for them to deal with and on the odd occasion when something did go wrong they dealt with it instantly. As a first timer there is so much you dont know or understand, but at Steven Oates they walked me through everything and completely took the stress out of the whole process. I cannot be grateful enough to Steven Oates, especially Charlotte and the team and cannot recommend them highly enough and I am hugely grateful for everything they did for me and getting me into my new home

Fantastic experience: We both sold and bought with Steven Oates this year and the experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Yasmine Weir was so helpful in accommodating our repeat viewings of the house we were buying, and offered wonderful advice throughout the process. She and Sam were also very helpful in the listing of our house. They offered support on every aspect, from organising the photos incredibly quickly, scheduling viewings immediately, and again gave great advice. It was less than a week between starting the process of marketing our house and having offers made, and this was entirely down to their fantastic organisation and expertise. We then had several issues with our chain. Throughout every issue Lisa Purdy was immediately available to provide help, and provided a level of communication that is unheard of nowadays. She was also incredibly thoughtful in offering insight and solutions. We do not believe we would have completed without her phenomenal help. All in all, the team offered a service that went so far above and beyond what we would have expected. We will be returning to Steven Oates any time we sell!

Negative experience: I recently arranged a viewing for a shop in Brookmans Park with Andy, confirming the appointment the day before. After driving from Central London through heavy traffic, I arrived at the location and was informed that the shop was no longer available. At no point was I contacted or updated, which resulted in a considerable waste of time and effort. This lack of communication is unprofessional, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this agency.

Fantastic experience: Excellent estate agent. Jack Wall did a fantastic job from end to end - from valuation, ad creation, viewings and right through to (a challenging) exchange and completion. Their online portal gives you daily Rightmove stats (search results and click-throughs) and keeps track of viewings and feedback. All staff are friendly and helpful and are passionate about their work. Would highly recommend.
