Fantastic experience: I write this review as the purchaser of a property marketed by Melanie Anderson estate agents. The agent marketing the property was Jasmin Howarth and I could not be more impressed with her professionalism, work ethic and communication skills. Sadly, my previous experiences of house sales have been with larger, chain type agents. The type that when you ask them about council tax, schools, local social life etc they reply “well, I don’t know about any of that but these are the stairs. They provide an incredible focal point to the hall and effectively join the ground floor to the first floor with a lovely ambience”. Jasmin was the total antithesis to this stereotype. She provided her direct contact mobile details and would answer any question within minutes, day, night or weekend. She is obviously local to and passionate about the Gower, and has an in depth knowledge on every aspect of life here. She also has an extensive contacts list and has been able to put us in touch with some great local tradespeople for our renovation project. In fact, I would hazard a guess that she has come from a senior position in another career in order to concentrate on property development and working as an agent. It definitely shows in the service she provides, which is well in advance of what most people would reasonably expect from an estate agent. I’m grateful for the experience I have had with Melanie Anderson estate agents, which has made my purchase far less stressful than it could have been, and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

This was the first time that an estate agent has set up a WhatsApp group to communicate with both buyers and sellers, and it worked extremely well. I have since recommended her to friends. If you do appoint MA then we suggest that you do not appoint a local solicitor as the business community in this area is very small and if problems arise it can get a bit awkward. Fantastic experience: Becci was welcoming the very first moment we met her at, what was to be, our new home. She changed her schedule to make it easier for my wheelchair user son to accompany me and was very patient during a subsequent visit with a builder who was held up in traffic.
