Negative experience: A team of unprofessional people works here. I was told that my offer for a property was submitted and that they would get back to me by end of the day. I waited for 3 days and 4th day upon follow-up I am told that the offer wasn't submitted and now the property has been sold to someone else. If the offer wasn't going to submitted, why promise. Be careful to not trust the team at Peter Alan.

Negative experience: I rented a 4 bed property with Peter Alan in Manselton as I was moving from Manchester down to Swansea with my two young children. I should of read the reviews! Absolute joke from start to finish. Brian did NOT hand me my copy of my inventory with all my comments in there to say what needed repairing when I first moved in. These repairs went on for over a year, after PAYING for a years rent UP FRONT. The landlord in question IGNORED 99% of these repairs (including leaving me & me 2 children FOR 4 WEEKS WITHOUT HOT WATER OR A BOILER & A GAS LEAK!). Said landlord kept fobbing me off saying it was Peter Alans fault & when I asked Peter Alan for advice I was ignored! The garden decking was already broken & very unsafe when I moved in & said landlord left it FOR 8 MONTHS after I had environmental health in to take a look. When I asked for a copy of my Inventory from Brian all I got back was that he "would look into it" (I asked 4 times in the space of 3 weeks) & i never recieved it! Landlord tried to take me for money & a fool after left the property of my own accord. Thankfully the Zero deposit scheme saw my reports I had made a number of times & have said I was in the right & I owe NOTHING to the landlord as it was already broken before I moved in & the landlord chose to ignore the repairs (also tried to charge me for blinds he bought himself AFTER I left the house, even though on th3 check out report it said the blinds were in "good working order") as he was honestly the worst landlord ive ever come into contact with! Peter alan are absolutely atrocious to deal with & would avoid like the plague as they still have landlord on books. I would give 0 stars if I could because unless I hadnt complained to the right authorities about this, it wouldn't of been noted how bad this situation was.

Negative experience: Bad experience all-around. I inquired about 3 separate properties. The first 2 I tried to make offers on and was told I would be sent more details but was never followed up with and then informed the properties were gone. The third property I was waiting to hear more info from landlord and emailed multiple times to see if there was an update and I was just ghosted. Not even a polite 'sorry there is no update' or that the property is gone. They also rarely answer their phones. Save your time and go with another letting agent.

Fantastic experience: I have just moved to my new home with the help of Molly and Brian who had been extremely professional, helpful, considerate and kind. In a matter of days, Molly and Brian were able to arrange viewing, coordinate all work and checks, and hand me the keys. I can’t recommend enough, you will be in safe hands, I was treated with utmost respect and empathy considering the stress with moving process, always answering my calls, queries, reassuring, and very professional. I don’t think I will be I looking further in the future should I move

Negative experience: This estate agency lost all of our keys for our new property and we had to wait while they look for it and the couldn't find it then they had to call the locksmith to open our front door but it turns out our backgarden door also needs a key which we didn't notice at the time. I have tried to contact them numerous times yet they refuse to sort out the lock on the backgarden door because of their abysmal lack of communication.

Fantastic experience: It’s been an absolute pleasure dealing with Peter Alan Swansea for the purchase of my first home. From the lovely ladies on the viewings to progress updates throughout the sale, everything has been top notch. I would also like to give a massive shout out to Jade who is not only an expert with properties but also has a massive knowledge of induction hobs.. Jade was kind enough to walk me through an issue with my induction hob and appeared somewhat of an expert. You should consider a part time job with Beko, top service! Negative experience: Absolutely shocking never answer the phone. we had people just turn up at our door saying they wanted to view but couldn't get hold of them. It took someone posting there number through our door and us pestering Peter Allan to call them back to arrange a viewing would never recommend them !

Fantastic experience: I requested a viewing of a flat and was met with very friendly and helpful staff on phone and in person. Nicky Price showed me the flat and he gave me time to ask questions and have a look around. He was very helpful. After viewing I had further questions regarding the property and Alexandra Lewis at the Swansea branch kindly gathered all the answers for me and advised me quickly and efficiently. She processed my documents for me all within a quick timeframe. This then lead to negotiations on the property and within a day an offer was made and accepted. Having previously dealt with another mortgage adviser from another estate agent with poor communication I was contacted with by Paul in under 24 hours of the initial referral. After my first appointment with Paul M (Mortage Services Consultant), that apprehension and anxiety turned into excitement - The experience was very personable, informative, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. After the second appointment, the process to secure a mortgage had begun, and throughout the time it took, Paul remained in contact keeping me updated and informed rather than me feeling lost and in the dark. Genuinely amazing experience, and I'm very thankful.

Even when we then switched to another agent due to a different property coming up we chose to stick with Paul as our mortgage consultant with the excellent experience provided. Would recommend both Katie's and Paul's services for any first time buyer.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Brian and Courtney for their efficient and exceptional responses to me,they helped me through my ordeal in searching for a house. Thank you Peter Alan Letting's team for being there for us!

Negative experience: Decent letting agency for finding tenants however once they'd moved people into the property did nothing to keep me involved and it took me ages to even get in contact with them or get a reply to deal with problems the tenants were having. Alright at finding the tenants terrible at managing the property once they were in. Took two weeks of myself and my tenants harassing them for me to even be able to collect my rent for one month. Update one year later, it was a horrible mistake not ending my contract after the first year, I made the mistake of believing service would improve. Awful communication, I would receive emails and respond within half an hour then have to call them up days later to tell them I've replied and to please read my response. Even contacting and complaining to the head office just left me an empty promise that someone would get back to me later. Also basic flaws like not putting a renewal clause in a one year tenancy, that's a pretty standard part of any letting contract. At the end of the day be prepared to do more work managing your property than they will. Would not recommend at all for anyone looking to rent. Maybe they're better with sales

Negative experience: Stay away! Untrustworthy agent! We have arranged a viewing and they just cancelled the viewing with a text message before a couple of days from viewing. I informed them that I will be coming from up North East of England and bought all of my tickets and planned my journey around this viewing. So they left me in a difficult situation.

Negative experience: Guys becareful of this agency. My cousin have taking an apartment from them and they told her to pay 6 months in advance and that was on November 2023 and she will move in December 2023 and she has paid the full 6 months . When the move in date comes she asked them for the keys they told her the landlord his mother is sick and he could not my cousin to be in and he does not gave her the keys so she asked Peter Alan for her money back , they told her it is not our problem and we can not get your money back from the Landlord . Guysss becareful I would not recommend this for anyone of you . The worse agency for renting apartments
