Negative experience: The worst estate agents going mould and damp prevalent. Totally inhabitable property let out from them. No communication never pick up the phone shocking! Landlords are just as bad too! Would not recommended in a million years. I have proof of everything said. This company is a complete embarrassment to the countrywide estate group!

Fantastic experience: An extremely late review for my first house purchase in June 24. First I’d like to apologise for the delay in leaving this, it completely slipped my mind. The team at John Francis Gorseinon were absolutely fabulous. They guided me through the purchase process (which was an online auction, so was very intimidating for a first time buyer) and were in touch constantly. There were a few hiccups (not the fault of John Francis), but they sorted them out for me. Shoutout to mags who went above and beyond as far as I’m concerned. I would have no issue using them again and would recommend to anyone. Thanks for your help and sorry it’s taken me so long to review.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking rental. Was forced to move due to landlady not fixing the holes in the roof, we had water and mould all over the house. Black mould. When we moved in the house was filthy with rubbish pile in the back garden. Tried to get our deposit back.... they said it needed a clean and rubbish removed they gave a ridiculous quote that apparently the land lady has to pay. Total fabrication. Disgusting. Avoid.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking behaviour from John Francis rentals in Gorseinon! I won’t name names at this point… but my daughter and son in law agreed to sign a 6 month lease and paid 1 months rent upfront, apparently the house had been “gutted” and newly renovated. However, 2 weeks into them being there mould and mildew appeared. Firstly in bathroom and two of bedrooms but now all over the house, both upstairs and downstairs. They keep fobbing my daughter off (who is 6 months pregnant) and son in law and telling them to keep windows open (which they are doing) and keep heating in (honestly, how do they expect them to afford the heating if on all the time?) My daughter’s mental health is seriously suffering, she put on her coat earlier and saw that too was covered in mould, along with three other coats hanging up. I would strongly advise anyone who is considering renting off them to seriously re consider! Appalling

She also described the property and its quirks quite clearly that it matched it well on arrival.
