Fantastic experience: My experience with bevoir was excellent. Thank you so much Tom for making the process so effortless. Great team.

Negative experience: Belvoir Swansea’s response is misleading and omits key facts. While the claim was refuted, the judge confirmed a high probability of disrepair at the property, a material finding that contradicts repeated denials and is absent from their response. For around four months, I reported serious issues including mould, infestation, and unsanitary conditions, which were repeatedly minimised or dismissed. I was told the mould was “just a bit of nature” and could be resolved with a cleaning spray, despite photographic evidence showing otherwise. The bath panel was removed by the contractor during inspection and was found to be secured with dead bolts. At the time, the contractor questioned why such measures had been used and stated, “What are they hiding?” This position was later contradicted in a subsequent statement, raising serious concerns about credibility and professional integrity. Photographic evidence shows prolonged damp, decaying material, and contamination beneath the bath, explaining the fly infestation and confirming the issues were structural and pre-existing, not tenant-caused. Despite evidence of disrepair and resulting personal injury, no meaningful remedial action was taken. The only redress offered was a £50 voucher, which I refused. For clarity, I have not contacted this agency and have no intention of doing so. I do not welcome further contact or engagement from Belvoir Swansea. I stand by this honest review, which is shared in good faith to ensure transparency and to help protect prospective renters.

Fantastic experience: Viewed a number of properties with Belvoir (with Chris). He was a breath of fresh air, knew his brief and was candid and honest. Resulted in an offer being placed. This is obviously a review as a buyer - but I would not hesitate to use him/Belvoir to sell a property for me in the future.

Negative experience: I had booked someone in for a valuation on Friday at 2pm. I was around all afternoon and no one showed up. Not even a phone call. I called the office around 4pm and their manned answer service said someone would call me back. I am yet to receive a phone call. Shockingly bad service.

Fantastic experience: We can’t thank Louise Davies at Belvoir Sketty enough for all her help in getting us into our first home. The process ended up taking 8 months due to being stuck in a chain, but Louise was incredible throughout. She kept us updated every step of the way, often going above and beyond and acting almost like our solicitor at times! No matter the query, she was always our first point of contact because we knew she’d get things moving and give us clear advice ☺️ Her dedication and effort made such a difference to what has been a long and stressful process. Fantastic experience: I recently switched over to Belvoir to manage my property. I dealt with Arwel, Greg, and many of the team. All gave a fantastic service, great communication and advice throughout the process. The advert for the property was perfect and the professional photographs used to make the advert really helped bring out the strengths of the property. Within 3 days of the property going on the market, I had multiple viewings and multiple offers. The minor maintenance I requested to be done with on the property was expedited quickly and with realistic priced quotes received. I highly recommend Belvoir

Fantastic experience: Struggling to find our next home and doing so many viewings with so many different agents but I look forward to the ones with Emma! She is most proactive of all the local agents. Always so informed about the properties, she helps you to envisage your life in the house. And if it's not right she'll suggest alternative properties and discuss possible alternative areas. I really feel that she's there to help and would use her for any property sale too!

Fantastic experience: Louise Davies at Belvoir, Sketty was our main point of contact when my sister and I were tasked with selling our late mothers home. She was efficient, effective and played the role I'd expect of an estate agents. Whilst I don't live in her branch area, if I had cause to rent and buy a property in SA1/SA2 etc - then she would be my first point of contact - particularly having been out of buying and selling for nearly two decades, during which a lot has changed. Overall, very impressed

Negative experience: Contacted this estate agent via their online enquiry service asking for a valuation, contacted by them and arranged an appointment for today at 3pm. Cancelled my last job of the day to be able to make the appointment, being self employed this cost me. The agent did not show up, did not phone, thanks for alienating a customer and making us feel worthless and putting us out of pocket due to your either incompetence or disrespect.

Fantastic experience: Louise and the team were absolutely amazing managing through the sale of our property in Dunvant. It was a tricky sale with us not being around. The team took care of everything. Went above and beyond. And were very targeted in finding the right buyer for us. We exchanged and completed within a couple of weeks of the offer being agreed. All managed by Belvoir. Next level service and an example set to all other agents we've worked with over the years. Couldn't be happier.

Negative experience: Awful, terrible service! I have been trying to book viewing of a property that looks appropriate for my family for the whole day - I phoned all their phone numbers without any response but autoreply, I filled the online form on their website, then repeatedly contacted with their chat-bot/ someone called Lily on their website, but the only answer was that they knew my contact details and one of their staff would give me a callback ASAP! Still no sign of that “ASAP” by the end of the day. Not recommended, not even a little, for anyone wants to let a property! Zero stars

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst estate agent I have dealt with. Missed out on multiple properties due to the lack of communication from the staff at the sketty branch. Viewed one property after a month of chasing for a viewing, then after a further month of trying to proceed the house was taken off the market for repairs. No communication, no replies or calls from messages left. Just nothing, finally get through to the office to be told it's off the market, we will call you if it returns to the market. Returned, no call! In December 2024 placed an enquiry for another property that had been on the market a while, been reduced also, placed multiple queries online until around mid -endJanuary, they finally called back asking for a number of details to be sent by email, returned the information the same day, no reply, I then a week later followed up with a chaser email, we are now 3 weeks on and still no reply but the house is off the market! Would not recommend this agency for anyone wanting to rent or put their house up to rent. Terrible agency!

Positive experience: Belvoir marketed my property efficiently and professionally and achieved a sale very promptly. Their valuation was on target. Terry was helpful in pursuing the sale with the solicitors and ultimately pushing to complete the sale. Belvoir also managed the tenancy in the property prior to the sale and the various people I dealt with in the office were always professional despite some difficult times during the pandemic.

Fantastic experience: Belvoir has supported us in managing several properties. We dealt with Arwel in securing a tenant most recently - he has a sound knowledge of the market to benchmark rent and was efficient and proactive in his communication. Recommend.

Fantastic experience: Louise and Jacqui at Belvoir Sketty displayed great skill and patience in shepherding the "saga" of our recent house move and its chain. What should have been a relatively simple affair, short chain, turned difficult in part due our roof developing a leak. They displayed great patience and skill in calming difficult situations and keeping the deals alive allowing the thing to complete successfully after numerous setbacks. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Louise and Jacqui for their professionalism, advice and support throughout the selling process. Any queries were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Their regular communication, by phone or email kept us updated of progress regarding the sale.

Negative experience: Impossible to receive a response other than automated emails, can't even leave a voicemail. Went to the office and the lady told us she was heading out so we would have to come back without even so much as a 'hello'. Explained that we had tried contacting several times so she finally took our details with a promise to contact the following Monday. Didn't hear back again so visited later that week to ask if there was an update. While she was apologetic, she didn't remember where she had noted our contact information and wrote it down again saying there were a lot of interest in the property. We were told they would get in touch with everyone for viewings once the current tenants move out but haven't heard anything in 2 weeks. They should at least send an email to say the property has been let out but it's just radio silence. We understand demand is high and it's busy, but we've never experienced such poor service from any other estate agency. Will not be considering any properties advertised by this company as it's pointless. ***Edit: Their response to the review is unhelpful. We contacted them through every channel possible, including their forms. They talk about increased demand and coping with the influx, but haven't found this issue with other estate agents.***

Negative experience: If I could give them a 0 star review I would. Easily the worst letting agents I have ever used, had to suffer using them for 2 years with no help across the board. Rude staff that don’t give any answers, mould throughout the property that we rented which was just covered by paint before we moved in, they then refused to believe the property had any and we had to fight for 6 months to get it finally sorted, but this was only fixed after we reported this to environmental health and they finally pulled their finger out even after we told them that my partner suffers with mould related illnesses. My partner actually posted about this issue on the uplands and Brynmill community page, where you can still find the post now, even though the admin told us that belvoir tried to join this group in order to get the post removed. We were told after moving in by an agent that our landlord doesn’t respond very often, so things will take a a while, which is obviously unacceptable. We have moved out of that property 4 weeks ago today and only today been told that there will be deductions from our deposit, but still with no evidence to back up why any deductions are being made to begin with. To prove my point, the agent over the phone told us there was food debris in the sink and that they will deduct money for this, attached is the picture they’ve used to say there is debris. I hope people are actually reading this and they never chose to use belvoir as an agents, because I know I won’t,

Fantastic experience: Terry at Belvoir was exactly what you want from an estate agent. He didn't hide the pitfalls in a property, but instead suggested affordable solutions to them. Negative experience: If you’re looking for an estate agents, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Really unprofessional, they never answer the phones and on the occasion I did get through they are very dismissive. I managed to book a viewing with them which was disappointing as we were rushed and the agent didn’t really know much about the property. We did register interest and as we had not heard by the end of the day we withdrew our interest to which we had an instant reply. Plus, the fact she was going to be away from the office for a week makes me think, did she really have any intent on following up? New edit having the agency respond: Although the member of staff was going to be on annual leave, her words were 'it will have to wait until I'm back' - there was no intent at all in accommodating us

Negative experience: If you're interested in selling or letting, use any other company because this one doesn't answer calls of buyers. Have been very interested in viewing some properties I have been trying to get a hold of someone for 4 weeks now. Have called 10+ times, sent at least 7 different emails, left voicemails, even talked to the stupid chat bot on their website. Not a single response. Not even an automated email. Absolutely insane. If you can, go to any other company.

Fantastic experience: I was delighted with my dealings with Belvoir lettings in Swansea. I found them to be extremely professional but at the same time offering what I felt was a very personal service. I had to rent my house as a job move forced a change of cities and i was extremely cautious about letting out my home. Ben came around to the house and I felt he connected with me much more than the other agents I met. He explained to me in great detail the current market climate, what rent i could expect to get, legal aspects of the move from home owner to tennant and basically dealt with all my concerns and fears. He gave me a figure he thought we might acheive for the rental which was higher than the other agents i had met but backed it up with comparables in the area. Within a day of the property being advertised on the internet we had received our first viewing and within the first week the flat was formally put under application for the full asking price! Needless to say I was blown away by this and can't thank Belvoir enough. Since the deal has gone through I have received emails and phone calls from Daisy who is managing the property for me. She has taken the hassle out of the move by contacting all relevant bill companies on my behalf, organising an inventory, sorting out Landlord insurance and various other small jobs which I didn't have time to do with the move. Overall my experience was a resoundingly positive one and I would reccomend Belvoir to anyone wanting a professional, knowlegeable and personable estate agent (and who doesn't) #updated# I have now been using Belvoir for the last 2 and a half years, in which time we've had 5 tenants and never had a period in which we were tenant-less, Belvoir have been excellent, we literally haven't had to think about anything in terms of property management and we'll continue to use them for the foreseeable future

Negative experience: My initial experience with Belvoir! was pretty positive that was up until I agreed to use them to let my property. Communication has been appalling and as a new landlord I really needed a company to offer more support. Emails have gone unanswered even when I have raised concerns. Sadly I would not recommend them

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a place to rent. I live far away so could only do an online viewing which the estate agent Arwel was very helpful with, gave a good demonstration of the place. Negative experience: Almost impossible to get hold of anyone. Asked months ago if we can park on our driveway as experiencing hassle from the beauticians below yet, still not received a response. You could call all day everyday and still be sent to voicemail every time. Looking to leave my tenancy early as result of a number of different factors. If landlords want happy tenants do not use this company. They are very, very poor.

Fantastic experience: Arwel was great throughout the whole lettings process. I was happy with his communication and very impressed with the photos he took of my property. I’d definitely let my property with Belvoir again.

Negative experience: Lived in a Belvoir property for a year and a half. The people that work in the office are very nice however sometimes it was difficult to contact them and response times were slow if people were off on annual leave. The main issue for me came with the land lord that they were representing. I had an ongoing maintenance issue from November 2023 till when I left the property in February 2024, it was never resolved. The land lord tried to hike up rent prices to pay for the cost of the repairs, which is why we ended up leaving. I also believe the land lord acted in extremely bad faith with regards to the deposit. I believe more vetting needs to be done by Belvoir to avoid these rogue land lords that they represent.

Fantastic experience: Sarah Howe has been amazing & made the experience of buying a house a lot less stressful. Sarah is approachable & super responsive & I cannot fault the service she has provided.

Positive experience: So far I have had a good experience with Belvoir, the only issue I had was initially they were difficult to get a hold of on their office number however I left a voicemail and Arwel got back in touch with me explaining he had been on annual leave. It would have been better if someone had got back to me in his absence however once Arwel was back everything went smoothly as a renter. The viewing was booked and after I got a call back on the same day letting me know I was successful, referencing was quick and easy and I have now signed the contract and ready to move in. Arwel has been very helpful and so have the rest of the team that have been dealing with the process. Hopefully they keep up the good communication and we continue to have a positive working relationship.

Negative experience: The worst estate agency. They never reply your email or call. When you walk in, they will send you home and require you to fill in the application form, which they never reply neither. Check other comments! The negative comments are so true!!! If you are the landlord, please consider to use other agency company as Belvoir is irresponsible. There are few immediately available property on the website, and they refuse to start my application process immediately, even though I walk in to the company.
