Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience with Leaders Estate Agents in Northampton, and I felt it was important to recognise the level of service I received. Jack Spencer was fantastic from the very beginning. He showed me the property and patiently walked me through everything, answering all of my questions with genuine care. What stood out most was his honesty. If there was something he did not have immediate clarity on, he was very open about it rather than trying to oversell anything. That level of transparency is incredibly refreshing and shows that the focus is not simply on closing a deal but on making sure clients feel informed and comfortable. Jack went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Even after the contracts were signed he helped facilitate my first meeting with the landlord and came along to the property. I had my children with me at the time and he very kindly kept them engaged so that the landlord and I could have an important discussion. It was such a thoughtful gesture and not something many agents would take the time to do. I would also like to thank Jolanta, Jack’s manager, who showed incredible empathy during what was quite a unique and urgent moving situation for me. She even took the time to speak with me on her day off to explain the process, walk me through the documents needed and reassure me about the next steps. That level of care meant a great deal. Gracie was also wonderful when I collected the keys. I unfortunately ran late, but she was patient, warm and very communicative throughout. Moving home can be stressful at the best of times, and in my case I was navigating significant personal changes as well. The team at Leaders Northampton made what could have been a very overwhelming process feel smooth and manageable. I am incredibly grateful to Jack Spencer, Jolanta, Gracie and the wider Leaders team for their professionalism, empathy and kindness. I would also like to recognise Faith, who has recently become involved in my correspondence and has been working hard to secure new tenants for a recently vacant property. Her communication has been clear, professional, and exactly what you would hope for in this role. Finally, Aleksandra deserves special mention for guiding me smoothly and efficiently through the deposit process with my last tenant. That process can often be stressful, but she made it straightforward and well-managed from start to finish. Together, they represent the very best of what property management should look like. Negative experience: I would not recommend this estate agency at all. Their customer service skills are terrible, my brother recently passed away and left me his property to take care of. I decided to rent it out and was recommended this estate agency through a friend. However, from the enquiry I spoke to a lady called Jolanta who was very short (meaning blunt) with the way she spoke to me and didn’t seem to have any sympathy or care about my property. Then she made it very difficult to arrange a valuation, I stated how Saturdays are most ideal for me and she mentioned how I had to do it before 12pm to fit their schedule, I feel this is inappropriate as I am a landlord and it should be a mutual schedule. I was then met by Lillian who was very egotistical for someone who answered “Um I don’t know” to a lot of my questions/concerns. She was twitching and seemed very fake and slimey towards the way she spoke to me. She had also extremely overvalued my property just so her agency could try and instruct it. All of the other Northampton estate agents had it at £1100 while Lillian insisted it must be £1500. I think she was trying to justify their management fee to me. She then never got back to me so I wouldn’t recommend any of them at all, maybe my friend had a different experience.

Negative experience: Faith Graham at the Leaders Northampton branch was exceptional in helping me find a house quickly and ensuring a smooth move-in process. However, a critical detail was overlooked—any issues within the property would be met with silence and indifference. The property management team is virtually non-existent when it comes to addressing concerns. Managers like Jolanta Stonekute and Ewelina Kreglicka either do not respond at all or provide responses that are far from actual solutions. Instead of resolving problems, they resort to anecdotes about their personal experiences, as if that justifies the lack of basic tenant support. Leaders seems less like a professional letting agency and more like a safe haven for landlords who are unwilling to maintain livable conditions. Heating is kept on strict timers at suboptimal temperatures, even in extreme cold, with no willingness to adjust. Issues regarding cupboard or fridge space—amenities tenants pay for—are dismissed with the expectation that residents should simply “adjust” to the inconvenience. Beyond poor property management, the company appears focused on maximizing profits rather than tenant welfare. Expect to be pushed toward unnecessary insurance policies rather than receiving genuine assistance. In summary, Leaders fails to live up to its name. If you’re looking for responsive management and a hassle-free renting experience, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I wish I could give zero stars for the zero service!

Fantastic experience: Going through a rental process is fairly long winded nowadays, it is all done online, so lot's of forms to fill in etc. However, LEADERS Lettings & Estate Agents have been very helpful with any questions or queries regarding this.
