Fantastic experience: The team at Oscar James have been second to none, from the first meeting with Stephen, the Branch Manager, he was just the right amount of enthusiasm and gave us time to view the property, without feeling too rushed. We fell in love with the property we viewed, which then meant we needed to get our two houses sold to secure a deal, the pressure was on!! We decided to keep everything in house, selling our two properties, using their preferable conveyancer and also their mortgage consultant, we felt this to be the best solution to have hopefully a streamlined chain and to give peace of mind to the vendors of the property we have fallen in love with. The rest of the team whom we have dealt with, Ryan and Craig, have been great too in communication. However after several valuations and giving careful thought after each one, we decided to go with Oscar James and I have to say it was the best decision we could have made. Negative experience: Avoid. Matthew Price, an absolute fouled mouthed, incompetent, clown. If you want an inefficient, disorganised, poor communicative agent, Oscar James has just the one.

Fantastic experience: Based on previous experiences as a potential buyer we chose Oscar James to manage the sale of our property and we were so pleased with what they did. Within 2 days of giving instruction they had organised an open house viewing with 8 people booked, receiving 6 offers, all of which were above the asking price. An offer was accepted on the day of the open house. They got the right people in so as not to waste anyone's time. The photos and write up of the property were beyond brilliant, showing its true potential while staying realistic so buyers knew exactly what they were getting. As our chain was very simple, we didn't need regular contact with the agents while the conveyancers did their thing but we updated them with any news so they could pass on to our buyers. Towards the end, they let us know how the exchange/completion process was going. They weren't the cheapest agents to go through but, personally, I felt that they were worth it as they represented our property in ways that other agents couldn't.
