Positive experience: My personal experience with Towcester Homes hasn't been that positive from the outset, and I think 3 stars is generous. From incorrectly setting expectations on offers that I could expect to receive, and being patronised by the owner when a below advertised figure was put forward, to being 'sold' an after sales service that never materialised once an offer was accepted, it makes me wonder who Towcester Homes are working for - themselves and their commission, or the actual customer. The only thing that is positive is the fixed fee, so you know exactly what you're paying, and no more. Would I recommend them, possibly, but shop around to find out exactly what service you will get for your money, but like most estate agents once your house had had an offer accepted, they tend to lose interest very quickly. This may not have been the experience for others, but it certainly didn't live up to the sales patter in my experience.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely phenomenal service. Mark is 10/10 to deal with, Victoria has given me time, talked me through situations and secured the best for us possible. Lisa handled the sales process, was professional, friendly, supportive and pushed for us continually. Thank you all so much Towcester homes. We would use you again if needed and recommend you often. Negative experience: Good initial contact which quickly became very disappointing. Lack of communication which was poor when it was made, with confusing and impersonal updates. Incredibly slow process where Towcester Homes failed to provide updates, keep us informed had an inability to advise and had to be repeatedly chased for progression. I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Have just used Towcester homes for our first house purchase, have used them in the past for two properties we rented through them. As usual, super responsive, know the area, and are all very personable to deal with. By far the best estate agents I've come across and make things as simple as possible. Really appreciate their commitment to customer service and making it a good experience.

Negative experience: Why is the viewing lady showing no interest is about the property? I do understand you had other viewing before and do have after, but she was so cold, enthusiastic with the couple she had a viewing before us, and same energy with the guy after our viewing. She looked like we were wasting her time, eager for us to leave. I honestly felt racially profiled. A big lost for the home owner, please do not huddle by looks. In reply to your response, my sister confirmed to have booked a viewing. If we didn’t have a viewing booked we wouldn’t have wasted our time to attend. Our time is precious, if we didn’t see potential, we wouldn’t have attended.

Negative experience: Unresponsive when chasing rent deposit back. Contract states within 10 days but still waiting 20 days without hearing anything since that day. Wouldn’t recommend as things stand at all

Negative experience: After enquiring about a property, the sales rep asked me several questions being she could arrange a viewing. After answering promptly, she then told me I couldn’t see the property as it had an offer accepted. Waste of time and a poor experience. Response was slow, and I had to follow up several times after I had provided them with the relevant information.

Fantastic experience: Mark is definitely the guy you want to sell your house! He's someone who goes on a proper journey with his clients and goes above and beyond to help them sell up and move. When I first met Mark after I put my house on the market I felt like I'd known him for years, he is very professional and so down to earth and nothing is too much trouble. I found Mark to be very efficient and most professional throughout the whole procedure. When I recently discovered Mark had introduced ’Lettings’ to his business. I asked Mark to help me find tenants. He has now found me a number of new tenants. On the last property he found me professional tenants within 3 days!
