Negative experience: Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally complain about how my scheduled appointment today was handled. I had an appointment booked for 12:00. However, I never received any email or message confirming the appointment details or the correct phone number to contact. I arrived at the property only two minutes after 12:00 and knocked on the door, but there was no response. After waiting, I called the agency and was told that someone would get back to me. I then waited outside the property for approximately 25 minutes without receiving any update or explanation. During this time, I was not informed that another person had already been allowed to view the property, despite the fact that I had a confirmed appointment for 12:00. This situation was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I made the effort to attend the appointment and was only two minutes late, yet there was no communication, assistance, or courtesy shown by your team. I would appreciate an explanation of why this happened and how you intend to prevent similar situations in the future.

Fantastic experience: Ashley and his team at Belvoir Ipswich did a superb job once again in the sale of a property for me. They provided an impressively high level of service and professionalism which is hard to find these days. Their communication skills were second to none. At every twist and turn of the sales process Ashley was on hand to offer prompt and reassuring guidance that ensured everything ran smoothly and moved along quickly. Fantastic experience: Pleased with the service I have received so far, at the start of a 12 month tenancy. The Belvoir staff have been responsive to my queries. A couple of comments: in view of the current shortage of rental properties, my house was very popular and I was able to choose a tenant that seems most likely to be able to afford the rent, although some of the applicants as put forward by Belvoir, while satisfying the initial financial criteria, did not appear to me to be able to continue paying such a high proportion of their income for the period of the tenancy. Secondly, I was not sufficiently aware that nowadays the tenancy must be in the names of the current owners and this proved a hindrance in that I did not realise I needed to chase my solicitor to make the required changes to the property register before the tenancy agreement could be drawn up. In summary, Belvoir staff were very good with regard to showing the property to potential tenants and arranging to have maintenance tasks carried out to prepare the property for a tenant (such as extra smoke alarms and removing excess furniture) but a bit more information regarding the actions I needed to take to facilitate timely administration would have been helpful.

Fantastic experience: My first and still existing rent is from Belvoir, to me they are the best agency, they make sure the house are inspected on regular basis as stated on the contract.., no issues since I moved to my rented apartment from them. If I will be buying my own apartment sooner or later, it will definitely be from them. They show love to people regardless of their background.

Negative experience: Ever since I moved in to my rented property since February, My main bathroom for the master bedroom Was bad and also stair rails is bad as well and I’ve been sending mail to belvoir to come and fix all this issue. They keep sending people to come and check and nothing has been done and I keep paying rent all the time the basic amenities for me to enjoy the rented apartment I collected from them, is not been fixed up to now thank you. also, the toilet stinks and I’ve complained, nothing has been done yet.

We recently sold our property through them and from the valuation, to the listing and dealing with viewings they were awesome. As the sale started to progress Ashleys knowledge and experience really put us at ease and helped things move along. The estate agent for our onward purchase were of the online type and I have to say it was a pretty impersonal experience largely dealing with a different person in a call centre every time. If you're a seller I urge you, don't go with an online agent go with someone you can pick up the phone to or send an email or go and see if you must. You won't regret it. Belvoir Ipswich were first class

Negative experience: Be prepared to pester.we were letting a property through belvoir for a few years and every time we had a problem with the property and needed to get in contact it would take ages to hear any response from them let alone any action. One of our favourites was when our shower developed a leak that was directly over the kitchen light and we were told to not use the shower untill it was sorted (would be acceptable if it wasn't 8 weeks to get it sorted to a poor standard) many other things they wouldn't even bother to respond to unless we emailed them daily in order to be a big enough nuisance to warrant a reply. belvoir Ipswich is such a joke that when it came to look for a new property seeing one rented through them it was an immediate turn off. Avoid like the plague

Negative experience: Quite frankly, dealing with Belvoir is similar to the little Britain sketch of computer says no, I had wanted to put forward an offer of above the monthly PCM of a property but they wont put it forward to the landlord even though I am prepared to go through all the checks etc. until I have viewed it Next Thursday! so potentially losing out of a property because they cant accommodate a viewing and wont let me apply because its company policy. After working in the industry for 10 years 2008-2018, some thing's don't change.....Belvoir are still trash. If you are a landlord I strongly urge you to just ignore any drivel that Belvoir give you and use an agent that has moved with the times, uses their common sense and puts the landlord first. Wasn't long ago in the pandemic that online/virtual viewings were the only way and made perfect sense.

Negative experience: One star only for their front line viewing agents as they were lovely and helpful. But office staff is unprofessional, there is no clear communication with client or even within the staff. Can't complain about their behaviour because the Senior most staff is always on annual leave as I was told Everytime I tried to reach her. Had a horrible experience. Wasted a whole month because of miscommunication.

Negative experience: Polite staff but awful at booking viewings, as prospective tenants we are looking for a property and Belvoir have been very hard to get viewings with, they don't actively try to Assist in house finding or offer any other properties they have on the market. They don't offer to keep updated on new properties or actively help your search in the property market at all. They also hang up very quickly and abruptly.
