Fantastic experience: As a first time buyer, my main motivation was speed and clarity, I got both of these things here. I received solid advice from James and then Ashleigh kept on top of matters for us, she was also very kind and patient, a credit to her branch. We purchased the full connells package and did it all through them, this made things less complicated. Could we have got it slightly cheaper... Sure, would it have involved a ton more mucking about and waiting longer for surveys... Definitely. Keep on top of your admin, and your conveyancer.... and connells will do the rest for you with purpose and without delay. Ashleigh appears to clear her admin tasks efficiently. We completed in around 8 weeks which is pretty good. Another benefit to using connells is that they own quite a lot of the other estate agents, this was useful when we needed a document witnessing, the other company were happy to help as part of connells group. We would definitely us connells Ipswich for our future purchase or remortgage needs.

Fantastic experience: First Time Buyers - We cannot fault our experience with Connells. We first met with James to discuss getting a mortgage, he was very helpful and explained everything clearly. We then communicated mainly with Katy W and honestly, she was amazing, so friendly and she kept us updated. Katy was chasing things constantly for us with ours and the sellers solicitors. Fantastic experience: I’m writing this review as when I purchased my new build house Ashleigh Buglione was the agent I dealt with from the beginning to the end. She was very knowledgeable, welcoming and not ‘pushy’ at all when I first meet her at the Sales Office. Ashleigh was able to provide me with any information I required to make a decision on purchasing. I never had to phone to check the sale was proceeding as expected as Ashleigh kept me up to date with calls and emails. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The purchase was a smooth process. Took only 6 weeks. The day I moved in Ashleigh welcomed me and was always on hand if I had any queries. All the residents will say the same about how Ashleigh is a credit to her profession and made purchasing a stress free process. Well done Ashleigh and thank you.

Positive experience: In March 2024 we went to see some new build houses at Barrelman’s Point, Shotley Gate, Ipswich. On entering the sales office on site we were met by Ashleigh who was professional & friendly. She showed us plans of the site & explained the amenities that would be available - gym, tennis courts, cafe etc. We explained what we were looking for, a 3 bedroomed house with off street parking & Ashleigh showed us a house she thought would suit us, she was very knowledgeable about the houses & about the local area. The house Ashleigh showed was really lovely & very spacious but above our budget so she negotiated a better price for us which we delighted about ! Throughout the buying process Ashleigh was so helpful & supportive, she answered all our questions quickly & worked tirelessly chasing solicitors on our behalf. Once we moved in Ashleigh continued to be helpful & when we wanted shutters & fitted wardrobes she was able to recommend local businesses which was great.

Positive experience: I was a nightmare - for various reasons pulling out of a purchase three times before I eventually went ahead. Yet Callum and the team remained polite, supportive and understanding - I felt they were there for me as buyer and not just the seller. Buying and selling a home can be emotive, you need estate agents who get that.

Negative experience: Overall I found them to be responsive but not pro-active when it was required. There response often to get an answer from the other party was - I have left a message - but the other party never responded to messages so valve time was lost to get the sale over the line.

Fantastic experience: Katy showed us around a property and I was so impressed by her indepth knowledge of the property. Without even asking Katy informed us of important facts such as the loft is fully boarded with a loft ladder, that the beds were King size beds, what year the extension was built, what year the boiler was installed etc. These are facts many estate agents never know the answer to and I feel they are very important when deciding on and comparing properties. I viewed 6 properties that day, all with different agents and Katy's professionalism, knowledge and friendly, warm personality really shone through, head and shoulders above the rest!

Fantastic experience: Visited Connells Ipswich branch this week with a specific property search. Lily greeted us with a friendly smile and very quickly understood our property needs and showed us a selection of available properties. Very accommodating and even managed to fit in a viewing for us at a property that interested us at very short notice. Positive experience: I dealt with Kacper Holtyn when corresponding on properties Connells listed. He was quick to respond and flexible with timings and rescheduling. He was knowledgeable of the property (didn't just tell the obvious). What he didn't know, he found out as soon as he could and reported back as soon as he could. On a second viewing, he handled the rapid questions with ease. He was being honest with his answers and it was obvious he was not trying to push a "quick sale". He also respected the person making the purchase decision by address them when necessary. Only negative I have about Connells, is the literature provided on a property I viewed was not 100% accurate. But this could've been due to a lack of proof reading or miscommunication.

Fantastic experience: Katy watts was very helpful from the start . It was a difficult situation as I had not long recovered from surgery and was attempting to move to Ipswich to be near my son . She was able to retrieve information numerous amounts of times and kept me up to date . I also had to change appointment dates and she was very patient and accommodating. Negative experience: Absolutely appalling experience with Connells. Their lettings team is a complete shambles, totally unprofessional, unresponsive, and utterly incompetent. I had to chase them constantly just to get the most basic updates, and even then they repeatedly failed to return calls as promised. It’s disgraceful that a company operating in the public domain thinks this level of service is even remotely acceptable. If I treated my clients the way Connells treats theirs, I wouldn’t have a job. If you’re a landlord thinking of trusting them with your property, think twice! They clearly can’t even manage basic communication, let alone look after your investment properly.

Fantastic experience: Katy showed us around a property recently, on a day when we had lots of viewings. Her level of knowledge and preparation far exceeded that of every other estate agent we saw. Katy is genuinely lovely, with such a positive attitude. We are gutted that the property we have found is not through Connells!

As an FTB with no experience buying a property in the UK, I felt he was the only one I could get an honest answer out of and the only one I felt was on my side during the process. 69/10 will definitely ask him for help next time!

Positive experience: We had a great experience with Connells especially with Emily. We had some hiccups and she helped us going through it. This was our first time my partner and I renting a place together and Emily was more than helpful.
