Negative experience: Really disappointed with my recent dealings with such a well established and recommended firm. I enquired about a property that I was interested in viewing to be spoken to very abruptly by a lady hurrying me off the phone because she was with a client. After three days of hearing nothing back I called this morning with some optimism that perhaps it was just an unfortunate event to be told sorry, the land lord isn't happy. When I enquired about what in particular the landlord wasn't happy with, I was met with.. 'the amount of children'. When expressing that my family does not exceed the limit of people suitable for the size of the property and that I was of the belief this would be direct discrimination I was met with a blunt reply of silence. No query around my financial situation (high income) or current rental status (fantastic reference from my current landlord of 8years!). No discussion surrounding other properties available. Really rude and unnecessary from the very start.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class estate agents! We invited a few estate agents to value our property when we wanted to put it on the market but there was something about Aimee`s frank honesty that made us decide to choose Williams. The house was on the market within a couple of days and even in what we thought was a slow market the viewings started immediately. Negative experience: Didn’t mark the property we were purchasing as SSTC which meant another offer was forwarded and we were gazumped! Funny how they marked it SSTC for them within 24hrs. Unprofessional and certainly were not always very truthful.

Fantastic experience: Back in 2024 I woke up one morning and decided we had outgrown the home we had completed two extensions on. We set about finding our new house and made contact with Williams properties as they had some listed. We met Aimee and provided her with our "checklist" and she set about finding us our next home as well as putting ours on the market. The whole process of moving is extremely stressful and ours was no different. My experience is that the market just isnt as buoyant as it once was and the stamp duty changes only impacted things negatively. We ended up listing with several national agencies as well as Williams and I can honestly say Williams were far superior. Throughout the 12 month process, Aimee consistently got us viewings unlike the other agencies and eventually sold our house and found us a new home that ticked all the boxes!. Fantastic experience: We recently sold our house and bought our new home through Williams Estate Agents, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Aimee was brilliant from the very beginning - she carried out a great valuation, took amazing photos that really showed our home at its best, and was incredibly patient in helping us find our new home and really took the time to understand exactly what it was we were looking for. One moment that really stood out was when I phoned her about potential properties (we’d viewed a fair few by this point) and she told me she’d call me back because she was actually in the house we were going to buy! We viewed it that evening and it turned out to be the one we instantly fell in love with and went on to buy. Fantastic experience: We have recently used Williams for the sale of our flat. Unfortunately we ended up with 3-4 buyers falling through due to the lease length, which was an incredibly frustrating process. Williams have been so professional and enthusiastic at all times, especially when we lost hope in selling (as a whole, not with the agent). Each time they offered clear advice and helped us find new interested buyers quickly. In the end we decided to extend the lease to keep value in our property although the communication throughout the whole process (just over a year) was exceptional. A special appreciation to Tim and Sarah who really helped us negotiate pricing, sorting plenty of viewings and helping liaise with solicitors / the buyer. Negative experience: Avoid at all cost. If i could put 0 starts i would. Was a terrible streefull experience with them. The communication is utterly dreadful and was consistently told lies when i ask for updates. Even my solicitors advised me in the end to not speak to them as they are not very good and truthful. Utterly awful experience i would not wish on anyone when buying a property is stressful enough.

I went to see a house, I missed work and I went with the children after me so that I could not see the house (the reason being that my husband is not present) ... Lack of professionalism and especially from the manager (a blonde lady with short hair) ... Dear lady, I recommend a visit to the doctor ...

Negative experience: I viewed several properties through Williams and was shown around by both Harry and Aimee Cox. Harry was very informative and knowledgeable on the property he is selling but unfortunately Aimee was very unprofessional and as soon as my offer was accepted, she almost wiped her hands with any responsibility with the sale until I had to threaten to pull out of the purchase due to the time scale being double what was spoken about. Since purchasing the property it became clear just how much Aimee had pushed the sale even showing a garage that didn’t belong to the property and reassuring that this was the one included in the sale. The garage included was infact requiring £7,000.00 repairs to make useable and did not include a parking space as advised. Aimee denied all knowledge and apparently didn’t know which garage came with the house. I would not advise using Williams to purchase a property as they do not know what they are even selling, extremely unprofessional and being my first purchase, I was led by Aimee through trust which unfortunately I have learnt a very expensive lesson
