Negative experience: They were letting agents for a smal rental property I own in Ayelsbury and I found them so bad I have changed agents and now Finders Keepers in Bicester manage my property. They charge the same as other agents but do nothing to earn that money. I ended up having to manage some remdeial work because their porperty management were so inept.

Negative experience: They will never give any deposit back, and will use money from both the tenant and landlord. Since they joined forces with some other company, the sevice has been from bad to worse. Some agents are just horrible, I miss the old team, they were wonderful and lovely especially Aimee.

Fantastic experience: If you found yourself around Aylesbury ask for Lara Wadey she is excellent at her job, on time, 5 stars presentation, full of life, budget planning assistance with great follow up and after service support.

Negative experience: The worst experience you could imagine!!! Have been using full management services for a number of years and have been experiencing constant challenges and issues - contract release delays caused either by a system issue or a human error leading to incorrect rent payments, communication challenges - waiting for days to hear back from Hannah and Olivia - no calls back. No contingency within the team if one is unavailable. Decided to terminate our contract and still have not managed to conclude - have been now waiting for a cleaning quote for a few weeks. Also getting negative feedback from our tenants. Please avoid, should you wish for a piece of mind whilst letting your property! Completely diff experience with a Bicester branch. Still can’t understand how different these two branches are.

Fantastic experience: My agent was Chloe Sanderson and she was very professional, helpful and understanding. She even met with us at the property a second time to get some measurements. I’ve had bad experiences with letting agencies before but all that fear is now gone. Thanks Alexander and Co and thank you so much Chloe for your awesome service.

Negative experience: I lack the words to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with Alex & Co. Most of the team lacks professional courtesy, barring one or two exceptions. They seem indifferent to the tenants' concerns. Despite multiple calls and written issues, there's no follow-up or updates for weeks. Communication is poor, and they fail to properly relay messages to the landlord. Reaching the manager is nearly impossible, with staff often saying the manager is unavailable. My issues have been unresolved for over a month without any news or effective communication. This is the epitome of unprofessional service.

Negative experience: I wish I could give them zero stars. I would not recommend renting through Alexander & Co. After moving out of 17 Chiltern House over seven weeks ago—and leaving the property in better condition than when it was handed over—my deposit has still not been returned. Communication has been consistently poor, and my attempts to resolve the matter have been ignored. I found Amy Shield unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility for progressing the issue. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Based on my experience, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a professional and reliable letting agency.

Fantastic experience: btw no we did not meet the singer I would like to say big thank you to Anne-Marie. Recent time was very difficult for me and sorting out all the paperwork and full process she made much easier. When I shared with Anne-Marie my situation, from the beginning she supported me and gave me enough time to think everything through. She also kept close contact with me and a landlord what made the transferring process less anxious. Negative experience: Horrific and con artists, please avoid at all costs. Was stuck complaining over mould that was present in the house I lived in and they were just heartless in doing anything or keeping in touch. I have gained breathing issues and such restless nights because of this estate agent, they have no sympathy or people skills at all.

Negative experience: Very qick to take deposit but not so quick to return it. Will try every trick in th book to deduct money and engage their "services". Very professional letting agent, very unprofessional management agent. Be careful, they will visit property without notifying you about it, they don't care about your privacy and when yu move out will use landlord as an excse to rob you! Dear Customer Care team, copy/paste message to all negativ comments does not solve the problem. Your organisation does not care about tenants, full stop. Get me mymoney back, that is all I ask!

Negative experience: I rented through A&Co, and the process was surprisingly quick—everything was completed within a week of the viewing, and I moved in shortly after. However, moving out has been a completely different and difficult experience. It's been six weeks since I moved out, and despite paying £255 for a professional cleaning service, I have yet to receive a checkout report or any information about the return of my deposit. It's been a total nightmare!

Fantastic experience: I was refused a mortgage by two lenders because of an escalating ground rent clause within the lease. Ground rent is a stumbling block for purchasers of leaseholds. I wish I had thought to contact the estate agent when I was left in limbo by my lender, as they speak directly to the seller. The team at Alexander & Co. kept me informed of what was happening all along and soothed my frazzled nerves. Their property listings are more transparent than those of the other estate agents I dealt with.
