Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner are first time buyers and have been blown away by the friendliness, professionalism and knowledge shown by Liam at Connells. From our first viewing, Liam had all the information and support we needed, without being too pushy! As a couple who knew very little going into viewings, Liam was so understandable and explained everything to us so clearly. I hope we cross paths with Liam again throughout our journey to finding the right place, as he really was amazing!
Negative experience: Do not trust Connell Aylesbury, they are unprofessional and dishonest. They have no intention of helping to sell your property and they withhold your money. They begin by valuing your property at a promising amount, but once you pay the £5,000 selling fee, they make no effort to sell it at the valuation they originally agreed upon. Chase Caswell valued my partner’s property at £430,000 and told him it would be easy to sell. Just three months later, without making a proper effort to market it, they reduced the price by £40,000. Following that dramatic reduction in valuation, my partner asked to take the property off the market because selling at that price would be a loss. He requested a refund of the £5,000 selling fee, but Samantha Nleya, the branch manager, refused to issue a refund. £5000 they get to keep for doing nothing! They falsely value properties to persuade people to pay a selling fee, and once that fee is paid, they make no real effort to market the property because they have already have their money. It is extremely misleading and almost criminal that they can keep people’s money with no consequences. Looking into it online, it seems to be a trend with all the Connells branches. They’ll say it’s unprofessional to discuss the case with you but it’s avoidance and they’ve never shown an ounce of professionalism throughout the process.

Negative experience: I initially had a positive experience with your agency, but my recent interactions have been disappointing. Despite multiple requests to be removed from your marketing list, I continue to be contacted. I chose to proceed with another agent as their rates were more competitive. Today, someone from Connell's visited my property, citing interest from potential buyers in the area. I found this approach intrusive and unwelcome. I urge your team to respect customer preferences regarding communications and ensure that opt-out requests are fully honoured. Thank you for your attention.

Fantastic experience: I’ve dealt with a few estate agents over the years and can safely say that Connells has been my favourite (don’t tell the others). Connells have handled everything very efficiently and professionally, while our lettings negotiator Dylan has been a delight to liaise with. He’s been very attentive, organised, and above all just a lovely person to talk with who’s been understanding of our questions and concerns. I really appreciate everything he and Connells have done so far, and I look forward to having them as our point of contact.
Negative experience: Very disappointed with the Aylesbury branch. Chase Caswell valued the property for a friend and it seems like they have a reputation for over valuing the property just to sign you up and keep coming back to reduce the sale value to get viewings. My friend signed up for upfront fee at seem like there was little incentive to push the sale. We asked for a refund of the fee as there had been few viewings but Samantha Nelya refused. After watching BBC Panorama undercover investigation, "Undercover Estate Agent" my fears were true. Do not recommend Connells business ethics. Avoid.
Negative experience: I would strongly advise anyone thinking of listing their property with Connells Aylesbury to proceed with extreme caution. We were initially advised by Chase Caswell, who valued our property at £430,000–£450,000 and told us it could “easily” sell at £430,000. Based on this advice, we agreed to their “Pay Fee” arrangement and paid £4,914 upfront, having been told the money would be held at head office and not released until the property sold. However, within just 3.5 months their advice changed significantly: Initial Valuation: £430,000–£450,000 Within 6 weeks: Suggested reduction to £427,500 Within a further 6 weeks: Suggested further reduction to £400,000 This means a reduction of £30,000–£50,000 from the original valuation in 3 and a half months which is outrageous. We received no offers and experienced numerous cancelled or no-show viewings. Despite this, Connells then suggested marketing the property at a level we would never have agreed to sell at, directly contradicting the original confident valuation that led us to pay nearly £5,000 upfront. Given the lack of sale, the dramatic valuation reduction, and the fact that industry standard is “no sale, no fee,” we requested a refund of our £4,914 and were willing to move onto a standard no-sale-no-fee contract. This request was refused by the branch manager, Samantha Nleya. It is extremely concerning that such a substantial upfront fee can be taken on the basis of a valuation that is then reduced so significantly within months, without a sale and without refund. In our experience, this felt misleading and unethical. Sellers should think very carefully before agreeing to any upfront “Pay Fee” arrangement with this branch.
Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Connells from start to finish! I would particularly like to mention Okan, he had great communication throughout and made the whole process feel easy. If you are looking to buy or sell I would recommend Connells.
Positive experience: We recently purchased through Connells and Okan was great throughout the whole process. He was very professional in his approach, listened to concerns and always supported above and beyond when he could to help progress the purchase. There were a number of times we needed help and he always called us back with an update the same day even if it was just an update that he was still working on it.

Fantastic experience: Paradigm Electrical Solutions Ltd are instructed by Connells to carry out Electrical works at various rental properties in Aylesbury and surrounding areas. We have for several months now been working alongside Kellie-Jo Smith and Isabella Dunn in Property Management, who we have found to be very dedicated (even working out of hours on several occasions a mark of investment in their work), organised and a pleasure to work with. Fantastic experience: Yesterday I visted the Aylesbury branch to sign some forms relating to the purchase of a property. On arrival I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who immediately offered me a seat and a drink while I waited a few minutes as I had arrived early. I then saw Samantha who went through the forms and explained everything and answered any questions I had, thus making the process stress free and easy. Overall from the first contact up to this point the staff have been very professional, friendly and helpful and I am very pleased with the process and the support I have received thus far.
Positive experience: Connells Aylesbury assisted very well from the viewing of the property to me moving in and it took a maximum of a week for all this happen. My headache was made less when I found out about the zero deposit scheme which helped me immensely. Information shared and communication by the staff was effective and helpful. Big shout out to Leanne and Dylan as they were the ones who assisted me through out my process. Negative experience: Gazumping Specialists Even after your offer has been accepted and you have provided all the documentation, they will still show people the house. The only positive is that I will never have to deal with them again. For once believe what you read in the papers.
Negative experience: I really didn’t want to leave a bad review, but after everything that happened with Connells Aylesbury, I feel I have to. I even emailed their lettings administration before posting this and never got a reply. I booked a viewing for an apartment at The Exchange which was cancelled and rescheduled several times because they “couldn’t find the keys.” I took unpaid time off work each time but stayed patient. When I finally viewed it, the agent (Ammy) was lovely and professional, but the manager was rude, dismissive, and clearly unorganised. After applying, I was told someone else wanted to move in earlier — even though all the delays were on their side. I even changed my plans to make it work, but no one called back. The whole process was chaotic, communication was awful, and the manager seriously needs proper training in professionalism and customer service.

Chase & the team supported the journey to market the property for sale and managed to find a good buyer & price within good time. Negative experience: Buyer Beware - My Experience with Connells Aylesbury I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Connells Aylesbury during a four-month property listing compels me to warn other sellers. From the outset, I was promised weekly catch-up calls and proactive support. In reality , I received just one phone call within the whole period. Conclusion - Connells Aylesbury offered me a reactive, hollow service with no real customer care, no strategic marketing, and no accountability. In my experience, they did not demonstrate the expertise or commitment expected from a professional estate agency. I strongly advise any seller to proceed with caution. Ask tough questions upfront and make sure they can truly deliver on communication, strategy, and service - because I was promised all three and received none. 1. Lack of communication & proactivity Over the entire listing period, there were only around 12 - 14 viewings, and I received feedback just once. Even the feedback was generic and meaningless. There was no insight, no advice, and no sign of any strategy to actually sell my house (other than reduce the price). When I challenged this and asked key questions, the negotiator (inexperienced and clearly unsupported, albeit a nice person) could not answer these. Instead, I was told in person to 'be patient, the market was slow'. No marketing plan. No fresh ideas. (sorry, other than change the pictures) Just excuses. Worryingly, they included cancelled viewings in their figures to make activity appear higher. This shows either a serious misunderstanding or a deliberate attempt to inflate performance. 2. Reactive, not Proactive Connells did nothing to adapt, refine, or even question their approach. Despite my concerns, no one from Connells ever asked why I was unhappy or how they could improve. The office manager only getting involved at termination stage (see below). 3. Termination & Tone-Deaf Response When I terminated the contract, their urgency suddenly appeared - but not to resolve the issues. Instead, they focused on enforcing a 28-day termination clause and warning me about dual commission. Still, no interest in understanding my dissatisfaction. I was even told by the office manager, that an after hours visit from the negotiator at 4:30pm was an example of them 'going above and beyond'. This perfectly highlights the disconnect - doing the bare minimum was presented as exceptional service. I hope this is useful to anyone in and around the Aylesbury area and please don't be mislead by the Feefo reviews on their website. Feefo are invited reviews, so they will only seek to ask customers who have had a good experience to leave a review. Google and Trustpilot are more accurate.

This journey hasn’t been easy. It’s been full of twists, turns, delays, and moments of real uncertainty. At times, I’ve been stressed, anxious, and yes — probably quite demanding! But through it all, Sam has never once faltered. She has been consistently supportive, always at the end of the phone, and incredibly understanding of everything I was feeling and facing. What stood out most was her realism, honesty, and transparency. She never sugar-coated things, but somehow still managed to be reassuring and calming, even when delivering the hard truths. I never felt like just another case or transaction — Sam made it clear, through her actions and her words, that she genuinely cared about helping me get through this, not just get it done. Fantastic experience: A well deserved five star for Chase Caswell from the Aylesbury team, who went above and beyond our expectations with helping us selling our property. As he walked through the door we knew he is the right guy: friendly, professional, observant and knowledgeable. The first and also last viewing resulted in an offer, which we accepted. I am pretty sure we were the few people lucky enough to have an offer after just one viewing, but I know this is because Chase. If you want a smooth, pleasant journey in selling your house, I strongly recommend calling Connels in Aylesbury and asking for Chase.
Negative experience: I was contacted by their agent offering me to act as broker to help me approve my mortgage. I was very clear I would not pay any fee without the lender confirming the mortgage had been approved. Mr Hussain was dishonest and scammed me as I let very clear to not take payments if the lender had not agreed give the loan after checking all my documents. He mislead me and took the fees even he knows and understood my conditions. I reported to police and my bank. I am still shocked he took the fees at the application and not after the process was completed as I asked and he agreed before. I gave my card details but did not authorised the agent (Mr Wahid Hussain) from 2 Temple Street, Aylesbury Buckinghamshire, HP20 2RH to get any payment until the application were processed. As soon I saw they charged my card I asked the refund and as I knew I had just been scammed and they started to tell it should be escalated to their director and refused to refund. I opened immediately a fraud complaint with my bank and to police. He said Halifax had accepted and I should not worry about it, today when I went there he changed to Natwest but by email and call did not said anything and today was supposed to sign papers to get the Halifax application not do a new application at Natwest that it was already rejected when I have applied. I hope this helps someone to not be scammed. Be aware always if they ask you to sign papers personally. P.S. See at the bottom of one of my email messages. I went today because Halifax approved my application. He made me drive 32 miles today to say he had another lender even if I asked to confirm my application were approved before proceeding.

Fantastic experience: Dylan went over and above to secure the right tenant for us. He was professional, friendly and communicated effectively throughout the whole process. Fantastic experience: Having purchased a property from a seller / solicitor combination who seemed to be utterly disinterested in actually completing the sale, I can't possibly recommend this agent enough. Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience working with Connells during our journey of buying a house. From start to finish, Rawali Qadri was incredibly professional, approachable, and efficient. His communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, keeping us informed and reassured every step of the way. Negative experience: Recently taken on a property to let with connells, we’ve had some snagging issues within the house however they have failed to have this seen to for months. Constantly told we’ll have a call back but have still never got a call back or the issues in our home fixed which consequently has now resulted in our toddler injuring themselves.
Fantastic experience: Dealing with Connells during our moving process was probably the best decision we made. They were so helpful, very quick with their replies through email and calls and just gave outstanding customer service. Dylan was absolutely amazing with everything he helped us with and even after we moved and had a slight hiccup with something he was fast to reply and managed to get it sorted within a day and saved me a lot of time! I couldn’t recommend them enough and if we move again we will definitely be sticking with Connells! Negative experience: Don’t let or Buy the property in Alton Mews Aylesbury, HP19 8JZ. Be careful if you’re still going ahead with this property. The property is poorly built and the painting and the electrical works are of very poor quality. I would have given 0 rating if possible. If you have gone through them for letting and if you have paid some deposit, you are never going to get any money back. I paid £1146 as deposit and stayed there for 10 months. It was very new property. Already there were marks on the bathroom floor of paints, and in checkout they have mentioned as the floors are not cleaned though it was given back in exact condition i got. They conducted the checkout without my presence. The bulbs keeps flashing even after changing them already 3 times in last 10 months. our property was in the ground floor, so due to the moisture the walls were getting moulded regularly even after cleaning. The edges of every walls were showing wear and tear due to the poor quality of painting. The property was handed over well cleaned and they haven’t returned me a single penny as they say it requires deep cleaning. I wasted my 2 days to clean them. Deduction of some amount is acceptable, but whole amount for due to the poor quality of the building is not acceptable at all. Rubbish customer service and Mr Alexander was of no help Now they have come up with another excuse, they can’t recognise me it seems. Whoever replied to my email make sure you have collected enough details before posting rubbish things. I am sure I have written about your office in 2, temple street. I used to live in 1005 Alton Mews from 2/12/2023 to 05/10/24. What else you need to prove that I got no wrong here?

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and great team effort. Less than 48 hours and offer accepted over asking. Chase helped previously and made an extremely good first impression so had to be our first port of call to sell our property, clearly had done his research as he had a very accurate valuation extremely close to the RICS surveyor and processed the property to market quickly, always contactable and quick to respond, made us feel very supported in the process. Rawail clearly understood the property and his buyers and brought the right people at the right time to see the property. The first viewing an offer was submitted. Which demonstrates the ability to match the correct buyers to the matching homes. And Erien has processed all the documentation, mortgage application, insurances and services quickly and was extremely patient and efficient through the process, getting us great deals and helping us pay as little out of pocket to the process. All round great, astute and efficient team, always seem happy to help and the help comes quickly, well worth approaching for the sale or purchase of a property in Aylesbury.
