Fantastic experience: The best housing Estate Agency in the area. I had a premium experience with Michael Anthony Aylesbury for the last few months. The whole team provided first-class service with their top-tier expertise. Their branch manager Mr Andrew Kerr was exceptional. I was dealing with a few agents at the time, all the others wanted and cared was selling me a house, they made me feel like they clearly didn't care which house, as long as I chose one. One of them actually asked me to just make a decision when I made it clearly that I would like to book another viewing with my friend to get her opinion on it. I was not very impressed. Andrew came in at the right time. He obviously did his homework on gathering all the information about what I need and what I was looking for from his colleagues, (I have to say here that all the staff I dealt with from Michael Anthony Aylesbury never made me feel like I was pushed or rushed into any decisions, they showed me the houses I asked to view then leave it to me to decide as they understand how important it is for me to find my ideal home), he emailed me this house, we booked the viewings, they even accommodated my last minute bookings, at the time, me and my friend was waiting for a confirmation to see another property but didn't get it so I called Michael Anthony, asking to see this house instead. And that was what changed the whole direction. My friend was very impressed with this house. I had little doubts but luckily I had another viewing booked right the next day. I viewed it again with my boyfriend and all my doubts cleared. Andrew showed us this time, his luxury approach made me feel understood and truly listened for for the first time. He was very professional. He kept clear communication between us. He gave me constant updates and was transparent throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was always available when I needed, I could just call him and he will explain things to me until I was satisfied. Andrew has got great communication skills and he was also very open and honest about everything. I was always kept in the loop. I was also very impressed at how incredibly responsive they are as a team. Everyone was ready to act quickly and got me the immediate updates I needed throughout the whole process. Able to suggest local services for conveyancing etc. and kept me informed and up to date throughout. ~12 weeks between first walking into their offices to kick-off the process, and now moving in to my first home. Looking for a property when almost ready to give birth comes with challenges, so had to put it on hold for a little bit but when I felt ‘normal!’ again, we resumed our search. Negative experience: Please please do not sell your house with Michael Anthony Estate Agents! We have had such a bad experience with them. The sales team weren't too bad, we had quite a few viewings often with fairly prompt feedback. The problem arises when you're under offer and you're moved over to the 'sales Progression team'. This team seems to be almost totally non existent. They appear to have a policy of not answering the phone - never in 6 months did they answer the phone or in fact ring back when you leave a message with a colleague to call you back. Email contact was largely the same - often there was an automated email response saying they were busy and will get back as soon as they can which is very stressful when you're trying to ask a quick question about a house sale or get an update because you're in a stressful situation etc. Moving house is certainly a stressful time but I cannot emphasise enough how Michael Anthony estate agents made it far far more stressful than it needed to be. There is nothing worse than a total vacuum of information which is what we had. I wrote a written complaint to the 3 directors which was never replied to. I had a perfunctory 30 second phone call from one director a few days later apologising and ensuring me things would improve. Needless to say they didn't. In the end the only way I actually sold my house was by getting my buyers phone number, my vendors number and using the vendors estate agent to push everything through and navigate the process. It even got to the ridiculous situation where I emailed the estate agent to inform them that we had exchanged (they had absolutely nothing to do with the process) and inform them on the completion date. I still received no reply so on the day of completion I had to email again to say 'just so you know we are completing today'! How totally ludicrous.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Michael Anthony Estate Agents highly enough, particularly Michael himself, who was an absolute standout throughout our entire property journey. His links with local solicitors, made the process even quicker and he kept us in the loop with the sellers, from start to finish. Positive experience: Duration of my purchase took 8 months however, after including Andy and his co-workers in trying to cross the finish line, more was achieved with their support than the previous 5 months. A lot of people told me that Estate agents have no power in trying to accelerate a sale but this team provided a high level of support which was needed. I didn't give a 5 star review because I can't pretend that the process was perfect. To sum up, thank you for your support.

Fantastic experience: I just want to share my experience with Ben. Ben was amazing from start to finish. I moved over to Michael Anthony from a different estate agent, and the experience was great, Ben came out and used a fancy camera to take 360 view of the property which was a free service (not all estate agents offer this service) the pictures were top quality. All of the individuals that viewed my property were very serious candidates and I had two offers on the property, unfortunately I made a decision that now was not the right time to move or sell, but I am so grateful for the service provided by Ben. A visit was arranged by Andrew and he also found other properties to view at the same time. After being let down TWICE by sellers changing their minds, Andrew came good yet again with other properties and I'm pleased to say all has gone through smoothly and I at last have my new home. Negative experience: Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. I chose to sell my flat through Michael Anthony as I had heard good things from people who had used them in the past. My flat was on the market for 6 months and did not sell. I appreciate the market is tough at the moment but communication from Michael Anthony was the most disappointing and frustrating part. Not once did anyone advise me about my options when the flat wasn’t selling or mention reducing the price, that came from a different estate agent who was selling a property I viewed. It really felt like there was a lack of care and proactive approach. I felt that I was always chasing for feedback after a viewing rather than Michael Anthony letting me know. I called Michael Anthony to raise issues that I was unhappy about but nothing changed and I have since withdrawn my flat from the market. No one asked why I was withdrawing or seemed too bothered about it.
