Fantastic experience: AKS were fantastic from start to finish when selling our house. Everyone was very friendly and always responsive / communicative which isb one of them most important things with house moves. For our listing they took photos, made short videos and the editing made it house look really good. We had troubles getting our solicitors to move at the speed everyone wanted and AKS helped chase that regularly as well, to the point I'm not sure the exchange would have happened without their help. As they promised they did a lot more than just create an advert on Rightmove! In short of you need to stop you house in the Hilton/South Derbyshire area they are the people to go for.

Fantastic experience: We used AKS in November 2023 until December 2024 and the customer service we received was excellent. The team provided a realistic price estimation unlike some of the other companies who inflated the estimation to try to get our business (this resulted in us finding three buyers who put in offers over the course of our time with AKS). The team worked with us to find times to show our home which was difficult because we both worked from home and had dogs. After the viewings the team would let us know the viewing was over and they we could come back to the house and gave us updates on if anyone wanted second viewings, etc. The team also helped us find a few buyers and work through difficulties of a collapsing chain. Once we had a buyer Lyndsay was really helpful and gave us updates at a frequency that suited our needs. She was frequently chasing others in the chain to make sure everything kept moving and that we knew what was happening. If I lived in the Derby area I would absolutely consider using this company and we would certainly consider to use AKS again when it comes time for us to move again.

Fantastic experience: I sold my late mum's house with AKS and the whole team were brilliant from start to finish. I was kept up to date and informed all the way through the process, communication was excellent. Because everyone was so friendly I found it easy to ask questions about anything I wasn't sure about. What I wasn't prepared for was the fact that it felt like they really cared about selling the house for me there was never a time when I felt like this was just 'another sale' for them. Fantastic experience: From beginning to end all the team at AKS were amazing. They kept us up to date with everything that was happening with both our sale and our purchase. Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with AKS from start to finish - from the valuation with Andrew, to the photos and video with Sam and Mikaela, to the sales progression with Lyndsay, and of course the rest of the team as well who were all unfailingly helpful. Much of this was done via a Whatsapp group which was a quick and easy way to communicate, but I also found the AKS team members were very happy to chat on the phone and answer our questions. Fantastic experience: We have recently sold two houses with AKS and I can't recommend them enough. Fantastic experience: In 2024, a letter landed on our doormat from AKS and we read it and put it aside as our home was already on the market. A few months later, we took our home off the market and discussed the potential of staying put for a few more years. But itchy feet were getting to us and after noticing more AKS boards around Derby and pulling out the letter we'd recieved months before: we made the call. Within days, our home was on the market with AKS, a WhatsApp group was set up and we were getting regular calls from interested buyers. The best bit was that Sam and Mikaela did all the heavy lifting at this point by taking the viewings: effortless springs to mind! We loved that within minutes of the viewings taking place, we received instant feedback from thier perspective as voice notes on WhatsApp. AKS are typical examples of 'Work smarter, not harder.' The day came when we had a viewing with some real potential and we were excited and buoyed by the enthusiasm that Lyndsay showed when a second viewing was booked, given and an offer made. The following months were longer than anything any of us involved in the sale of our beautiful home, would ever have imagined and at times, we felt so disheartened, but... Dear reader.... Lyndsay.... Let me tell you about her! Lyndsay was the epitome of moral support, professionalism and unwavering determination to see it through. When we as vendors -with a property in our sights that was dependant on the sale- were going through all of the emotions so commonly associated with house buying and selling, Lyndsay was the calm in the storm. It was bizarre... This lovely lady who we'd never met but who was in regular contact with us; never failed to respond to either us or our buyers; talked to solicitors, our vendors agents.... I mean... She worked miracles! We owe her much of our happiness now we've been able to move into our next chapter. House selling and buying is never going to be easy, but if you have AKS and the amazing team on your side, you really can't go wrong. Thank you so much to all of you. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: AKS were absolutely fantastic through our entire selling process, we really couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent. We were in a bit of a rush to sell our house due to wanting to buy another house - AKS pulled out all the stops to come round and take photos and a video and put it online within a day. They also made us a feature property on Rightmove and actively contacted buyers to advertise that our house was up for sale. We sold our house within a couple of weeks which was absolutely fantastic. Once the offer was made and accepted, AKS continued to provide great service. We had some issues with the progress our solicitor was making and issues lower down in the chain - I genuinely believe that if we weren’t with AKS, completion would have taken 10 times longer. They were continuously chasing things for us and calling us to provide updates - it was much appreciated and alleviated some of the stress! The whole team are amazing - I never usually write reviews but AKS really deserve the praise and I couldn’t recommend them any more.

Negative experience: Lacked professional and ethics. I couldn’t recommend, neither would I purchase or sell a property through them. Sale agreed direct with vendor at £150k provided ID and Bank Statements which had £145k on the basis that only 25% deposit is required to complete the transaction on BTL or Bridge. My broker had provided AIP for the development finance. Whilst I was on annual leave they accepted another party’s offer £5k higher. They later informed me that they accepted another offer because I didn’t provide a means of purchasing the property. I had appointed Solicitors, architects and submitted a planning application which they were aware of from the beginning. They waited until I returned from annual leave (1 week) to inform me I had not provided sufficient information for the “Proof of Funds” & this was the reason for accepting another offer… Lack of morals

Fantastic experience: Amazing service from start to finish. We put our house up for sale through AKS and coincidently also bought another property through them. It was the first time we had sold a property, which can be very daunting and had been worried when given feedback from a friend who had recently sold their property through a larger estate agency who received a poor service, however, with AKS being a smaller company, we really felt a personal touch and whenever we had any questions, someone was always there to help and offer advice. AKS helped make the whole process seamless. We would 100% recommend AKS and if we were to sell another property in the future, would definitely choose them again. Thank you to the team!

Firstly, we had the lovely pleasure of meeting Sam who introduced us to our forever family home that we had arranged to view and made us feel so comfortable and didn’t rush us during the viewing had all the answers to any questions we had about the house we were looking to buy. She allowed us to roam free about the house but ensured she highlighted the key selling points to the house. Positive experience: AKS provided a comprehensive and professional service - they marketed the property extremely well and managed the viewings and feedback to a very high standard. Post agreeing the sale the process was challenging and AKS had to navigate across a range of unresponsive solicitors which they did with cheerfulness and reassurance which was appreciated but frustrating. Their fees are higher than some other agents but they deliver the service and do so with professionalism and courtesy. I never want to move again but if I did - I would highly recommend. Lyndsay, in particular, kept me sane ! So thank you .
