Fantastic experience: I contacted Whitegates to instruct them for the sale of my property , as they are local Estate Agents . From the beginning a Lovely genuine guy called James who had a lovely aura , came out to do the valuation , very easy to speak to and very knowledgable young man . I had a few previous valuations off other Estate Agents locally but i decided to go with whitegates mainly because of James being so nice and friendly . I have phoned the office on numerous occasions and have spoke mainly with Jude . He is so nice and proffessional and knowledgable , plus he all ways explains the current process in detail to me and the next part of the sale as its progressing . You are Definately 2 great assets to Whitegates , James and Jude Thank you so far for all your help and guidance . Jude even recommended a Conveyancing Solictor to me after i had asked him . Negative experience: I was booked to view a property on the 29th November 2025 for 1:30pm , I was not told the exact address and the pin point on both Rightmove and Whitegates website was for a different property in the same road . On the day I tried to get in touch with someone just to give me the house number . I went via chat on the website of Whitegates they couldn’t tell me and said someone will be in touch , I called and I got the same answer . When me and my party finally detected where the property actually was it was 2pm and we didn’t get an answer . So we ended up moving onto our next appointment with a different estate agent .

Fantastic experience: We moved house recently and James Devonport was assigned to look after us...and we are so grateful he was! At every step of the way he kept us informed and advised us when we needed help. Especially when we had to complete a very lengthy form (forgotten the name) confirming history of the housr. Jobs completed. Items being left etc. He was never further than a phone call away and if he wasn't available when we rang he would call us back as soon as he was. We are in our 70s and had not moved house for 36 years so it was with trepidation that we decided to go but we always felt in very safe hands with James explaining and simplifying the process . Fantastic experience: Very professional and proactive agency. While looking for a new property I have been in touch with multiple agency and with most of them I found a big lack of communication. I have been dealing with whitegates for a few weeks and each individual has offered an outstanding customer service and the overall communication is on point.

Negative experience: I would look elsewhere if you want complete management. You'll have a better chance of contacting your GP before Whitegates once you've signed into full management. As my phone calls continue to be buttoned, I'm hoping that they will reply to me in this manner. You'll receive the "ohh sorry must be the phonelines" message after I call with a different number. I'm hoping they'll notice this and get in touch with me to assist me with the charges I'm still paying for even after canceling. Anything handled through this company has been stressful. From Painting & Decorating companies to inspect leaks, to Locksmith charges without any notice. I ended up managing this myself, but still pay management fees because I don't know why? I wouldn't use again for Property management.

Fantastic experience: Josh and his team have gone above and beyond. we told Josh exactly what we wanted, the properties he found for us was exactly to our specifications, we cannot thank him enough. A good listener and acts on your requests to the best on offer available on the market. It has been a long time since we bought a property and was somewhat of a novice again. He not only found several properties to choose from but also gave us lots of free advice on the current climate of the property market. He also showed interest and empathy in our concerns, he genuinely took on board all our circumstances. I have to mention if he was busy or out of the office, he always got back to me on the telephone even out of office hours. 5 stars all around
