Pattinson Estate Agents - Consett

Fantastic experience: Thanks Milo for the Awesome service!

Fantastic experience: Nice team easy going

Fantastic experience: What can we say! Becca is an absolute asset to Pattinsons. She took over the sale of my Mums property and it was very complex in the end. A very difficult buyer was incredibly challenging however, the communication was outstanding from Becca. In the end we were in multiple times a day contact with Becca and she was absolutely brilliant and supported us. The best review came from Mum herself "Becca has made me trust estate agents again". Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Absolute fantastic company to work with easy straight forward process highly reccomend

Fantastic experience: As a first-time buyer purchasing a property following a separation, the process could have been incredibly stressful and overwhelming. However, Milo and Nicola at Pattinsons have made the entire experience so much easier from start to finish. They have been professional, approachable, and supportive throughout, always taking the time to answer my questions promptly and thoroughly. Communication has been excellent, and whenever I needed an update or information, they worked hard to obtain responses quickly and keep things moving forward. What has stood out most is the genuine care and understanding they have shown during what has been a difficult and emotional time. Buying a home on your own after a major life change can feel daunting, but both Milo and Nicola have been incredibly reassuring and have gone above and beyond to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Their dedication, efficiency, and kindness have made a real difference, and I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work and support. Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Nicola and the team. They've all been great throughout the whole sale process, always keeping me updated and making sure I knew exactly where things stood. What really stood out was Nicola's work ethic. She replied to messages outside of working hours and even arranged a viewing later in the evening to fit around my schedule. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Nicola has genuinely gone above and beyond from start to finish, and along with the rest of the team, made the whole process much easier. A real credit to Pattinson's and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

They kept me informed at every step and made the process seem very smooth. Big shout out to Milo and Joe, whom I felt went above and beyond. Many thanks.

Negative experience: I had 3 BTL's with Pattinsons and would not recommend them at all. The last one sold and had to go into auction due to them allowing the tenant to stay and continue to wreck property over years. if they did their inspections property they would have advised to give notice. No doubt i'll get a generic responce of concern from pattisons below. you have been warned avoid.

Fantastic experience: Pattison estate agent is the best when it comes to letting choose Pattison

Fantastic experience: Leah Slavin is the most professional and helpful worker went above and beyond in everything that was asked of her and couldn’t be more grateful for help and support through out the whole process thanks again

Fantastic experience: bought a buy to let from Leah in Consett last year and the service was excellent, friendly and a breath of fresh air compared to other local firms I have used in the past.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had divorced and we needed to sell our house in order to finalise the divorce. Pattinson's understood what was needed and we followed their advice. I was given the options for rental properties and they found exactly what I wanted within a few days. Our house was sold quickly by auction. Everything was sorted by Pattinson's and we are now living very happily and comfortably with no ties or debts . Thank you Pattinson's for solving our worries.

Positive experience: All good

Fantastic experience: The staff here were super friendly, plus incredibly helpful, and I'm now settling into my new home

Fantastic experience: Nicola Vicarage has been instrumental during the house purchase process, proactive and efficient. If it hadn't been for her input the completion day would not have been met. Thank you once again for all your help and support.

Fantastic experience: Nicola was absolutely fantastic, she was always helpful and polite. Nicola made sure that I had all the information I needed and when it cam time to move in she ensured that I was able to do so asap, which was a gods send.

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank Nicola at consett Pattinsons enough! I never thought we would get to this point but we finally completed this morning! Communication was amazing and nothing was a bother. Thanks so much!!

Fantastic experience: Had a viewing today with one of the apprentice estate agents called Becca, and she was brilliant. It made a real refreshing change from the repeated experiences of dead eyed miserable people who just let you in while they stand at the back door texting and waiting for you to look round without any input atall, which has been my universal experience ever since COVID happened. Thanks again

Negative experience: We drove over an hour to view a property and got a call 5 mins before when we were parked outside the house from the estate agents cancelling our viewing , what an absolute joke

Fantastic experience: Pattison staff were very professional at their jobs making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Merry Christmas to all and best wishes for 2025

Fantastic experience: I had a viewing of a house in consett the young lady who showed me around was very professional and helpful she answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the property her name was Rebecca she is a credit to the company thank you very much

Fantastic experience: We were kept informed throughout the process by the office staff, they were always professional, courteous and helpful. We have used this office in the past and would do so in the future.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was really helpful and tried really hard to sell our house. Nicola and Rebecca couldn't do enough and kept us informed how things were progressing. The only bad thing was Pattinson's put us with Gordon Brown Law to do the Conveyancing and they were terrible and made moving house ten times worse. They did not keep us informed, were rude, dragged things out and gave us bad advice. I would advise everyone NOT to use Gordon Brown law. I am very disappointed that Pattinson's uses a company like this.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service, Leah and nicola have been both amazing people. Have communicated well and always on the phone keep me updated. very polite people. Had such a great experience with these two.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't fault a single thing that that Leah did when she was handling our case. When solicitors let us down, she was always on hand to help out and more often than not, it was her who solved the issue for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her and she had such a positive attitude throughout! Everyone in the entire branch rallied together as things went downhill on the day of completion and did everything in their power to make sure we got the keys to our house! An absolutely amazing team and a real credit to the company!

Fantastic experience: Nice people

Fantastic experience: Friendly, Stephen Wilson of Pattinsons is hospitable and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service very friendly made you feel very comfortable I am 100%certain of the whole package delivered and I would definitely recommend a visit to pattisons Consett estate agents to deliver your needs in moving on or finding your home whether it be your 1st home or several pattisons of Consett will achieve all of this and more.

Negative experience: Couldnt find what I was wanting to

Negative experience: Poor service. Contacted and spoke to agent about a property. They took my details but didn't get back in touch.

Fantastic experience: Excellent! Kept constantly up to date which is the key to buying or selling a home. Kept in touch with me for 12 years offering their services, I then used them and they did exactly what they said they would. Stephen at the Consett branch deserves a special mention.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic - highly recommend! We sold our house through Pattinsons and from the first day they were brilliant. Everyone we dealt with was great, but in particular Stephen, Anita and Nicola were absolute legends. We had a very stressful sale (due to onward chain falling through and solicitor errors) but Stephen, Anita and Nicola were constantly helpful, always at the end of the phone (and there were a lot of phone calls) with a lovely manner, always doing everything they could to help, going above and beyond, listening to me rant…. The difference that they made to what was on the whole an awful experience, cannot be oversold. There were many sleepless nights, but there would have been so many more without Pattinsons. I really cannot thank them all enough, I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: Always very helpful and efficient

Fantastic experience: Can’t that Stephen & co enough at consett pattisons, amazing service!! Thank you for finding us our forever home. Take care xxx

Fantastic experience: Very good.

Fantastic experience: Selling a house is a traumatic time even without the pandemic but Stephen Wilson at the Consett branch of Pattinsons was an exceptional person he went above and beyond what was asked of him I'm afraid he got a few more grey hairs in the process but he is a diamond I would not hesitate to recommend Stephen and the rest of the staff to anyone Well done and thank you

Fantastic experience: Helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Nicola and the team at Pattinsons were fantastic. From handling my initial enquiry, to proactively marketing the property and keeping me fully briefed and informed at every step of the sales process. A very professional and friendly service, which I would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault the service provided by Jamie and the team at the Consett branch. Quick to reply, patient explaining the process, polite and friendly. Overall, helpful and professional from beginning to end...

Fantastic experience: I am a first time buyer so buying a house is a stressful time anyway but during Covid has brought up some new issues that we had to contend with but Lucy from Consett branch was amazing! She was always just a email away. Every problem that we came into contact with from 3rd party companies got sorted right away and she was always keeping us in the loop throughout the purchase. Thank you Lucy ( Consett,Pattersons)

Fantastic experience: We were over the moon with the service received from Pattinson Estate Agents. Jamie gave great advice and kept us up to date with viewings and feedback. The house had plenty of interest and eventually sold for a good price. The sale went very smoothly and was stress free. We would certainly use them again.

Positive experience: During my process of buying and selling i encountered some issues towards the back end of the process and Jamie Hall helped me out to resolve them and also managed to sell my house for full asking price well done and thank you.

Fantastic experience: Pattinson's were excellent in selling my mother's bungalow in Ebchester. Jamie displayed excellent knowledge of the market and local area, and advised me to market the property much higher than one of their competitor's despite me thinking we were asking too much. We got an offer very close to the asking price and we are over the moon! The communication from the Consett team was fantastic throughout and were very empathetic to the sensitive nature of selling the property. I would strongly recommend choosing Pattinson's and will definitely use them again in the future should I decide to move.'

Fantastic experience: Very helpful easy to rearrange viewings

Fantastic experience: Called Pattersons of consett as we had seen a house we liked, after the second viewing we decided to put an offer in. We called our agent Lucy S who negotiated and secured us the house. All in all a great service.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service by Stacey from initial contact about a property to rent. Showed great interest in wanting to advise and support. Ongoing advice and responses have been prompt and very helpful. Jamie provided excellent service on renting the property including advertising and pricing and follow up service. The property is now rented in a very short period of time bearing in mind everything going on. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Sarah & Jamie at the Consett office have been extremely helpful when putting our house on the market. They have shown great and enthusiasm and have carried out accompanied viewings in our absence without issue which is ideal for us. Fingers crossed for a quick sale.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very helpful with all my need and concerns very friendly and professional at the Consett branch

Positive experience: First time buying a house through auction and so far has turned out to be a simple process. The Pattinson team at Consett were very helpful, keeping me informed of available properties and arranging prompt viewings, also putting my mind at rest that the auction itself would not be a scary affair. Helen in the Consett branch has been very helpful promptly answering any queries I have as the process runs its course, I also received a congratulations phone call following the success at the auction which I thought was a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend Pattinson's and will certainly use them in the future.

Fantastic experience: Great branch, and great staff! Stacey and the team have been awesome. We have been working closely with them for almost a year now, and they have always given 120%. Their knowledge of the area has been invaluable, and their eagerness to help has really added to the whole experience. Great communication, and super friendly. Couldn't recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: Great team to work with. We have been now working with Pattinson in Consett for a while and will continue to do so long term!

Fantastic experience: I was undecided how to market my property for the best results and so for the first time ever I decided to put my property up for sale through the Pattinson Auction Site. I could not believe the speed and efficiency in which a sale was achieved, unlike the slow and irksome process of selling through the normal method. Jamie Hall and team from the Consett Branch guided us through the simple process from start to finish and even provided me with a link to the live auction so I could watch the auction in real time, that was really useful. For a swift decisive sale, I would definitely recommend Pattinsons Auctions.

Fantastic experience: Professional set up. I have used Pattinson for some years now for both sales and lettings and always satisfied with their services. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Kevin has surpassed all my expectations since I first started investing in property in the North East and was fortunate enough to make contact with him.! His attention to detail, accurate guidance and sound advice when looking to purchase or sell a property, keeping me up to date on a daily basis and even working out of hours if needed. That's what I call five star customer care! Thank you Kevin, may we contiue doing business together for the forseeable future.

Fantastic experience: We are looking to buy in the area we had found a property which was of particular interest to us as it ticked many boxes Kevin McKay picked up my email enquiry and made every effort to help us create a workable deal which is a challenge due to many reasons, he responded to emails after working hours and really did provide exceptional Customer Service thank you for your efforts! anybody looking to sell a property can be assured of amazing dedication to achieve a sale I would highly recommend Pattinsons

Fantastic experience: PROVED WRONG. Always believed these were cowboys, heard a lot of bad reviews. I was contacted by Emma, who overcome all my objections on why I would not use Pattinsons. She was confident she could change my opinion. AND YES SHE DID I can not praise Emma & James enough, Fantastic from start to finish. Friendly, helpful, always kept me updated, They went above & beyond there role, with viewings out of hours (Emma's Sunday viewing was my sale), Negotiated above my price, James kept my nervous 1st time buyers assured not to panic after survey results nearly lost my buyer, other issues resolved promptly between them & saved my sale. I WOULD RECOMMEND PATTINSON IN CONSETT WITHOUT A DOUBT. THESE GUYS DESERVE TO BE RECOGNISED.

Negative experience: Do not attempt to rent a property from these clowns they are as bad as hunters

Negative experience: Not very helpful, left us waiting 4 month to tell us the seller didnt actually want to to sell his house after spending £2000 on surveys ect. james the salesman is hopeless he just told us lie after lie to benefit himself wouldnt advise anyone to try and buy from pattinsons Consett.
