Positive experience: Went on sale at end of August 2025 at a low price as I was anxious to sell to eliminate holding expenses. After an initial flurry things died in autumn 3025 due to continual natter about the impending budget. Nothin then happened in run up to Xmas but interest resumed in the New Tear 2026. But we had offers with unacceptable chains or silly offers from opportunists. Mint and me hung in and early Feb war had a full price offer from. Cash buyer. Sale was completed on 2 June 2026 - a 9 month sale proved to a cash buyer at full bu discounted price! Many have said we were advised to sell at too low a price..in fact it was a £100,000 loos over a 10 year period But we SOLD . Another. Property in the block has been on the market with several agents fo 4 ysars and they have yet to move! I also agreed to the Price we asked and sold for All in all a good sale in a difficult market!!!!! Bob Tilley

Fantastic experience: Having been with another estate agent for 3 months and only 3 viewings we were beginning to lose heart when someone suggested Mint. What a difference. From the get go we felt Sarah and Nicole made a real effort to get to know the property we were selling. This must have helped when they were showing prospective buyers around. We had about 5 or 6 viewings in the first week or so and always immediate feedback. In the space of a month and bearing in mind it was December we had no less than 3 offers! Once we accepted our preferred offer Nicole kept us up to date with what was happening. We cannot recommend Mint highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing service from the lovely ladies at Mint Homes. We were struggling to sell our house with other estate agents, and after 3 months we switched to Mint. Fantastic experience: We recently had the pleasure of dealing with Mint Homes when we were buying a house in the local area. We viewed the house with Sally who is absolutely lovely and she has a great way of helping you vision being in your new home and offering suggestions, while being honest. Fantastic experience: In April 2024 my parents’ house went on the market and in June an offer was made. Sadly, in October, of the same year, they were forced to pull out, due to serious health issues. By then the house, now empty, looked very unwelcoming and the dark evenings didn’t help. After taking a break to regroup, in January I contacted Sally, from Mint Homes, following a recommendation from my daughter, and arranged to meet her at the house. Sally had arrived early to walk around the area, to get a feel for the neighbourhood and, talking to her, I immediately began to feel more hopeful, listening to her positive view of the house and surroundings. I liked the sound of how they worked as well. It would only be Sally or Nicole conducting the viewings, and they would always arrived early, so they could check everything was ok and go around the property turning on lights and drawing curtains etc. I had recently been house hunting with my son, so I had had first-hand experience of viewings conducted by other estate agents, who would usually just opened the door and let you get on with it and then could rarely answer any questions reliably. The house looked very depressing. I had looked into 'Staging Services' because I had read that furnishings made a property easier to sell, but the costs were prohibitive, and ran into thousands of pounds. My ears pricked up when Sally mentioned that they could bring in some furniture and soft-furnishings to make the house look more homely, which they did. It made all the difference. It was easy to see how large the bedrooms were with beds in them and the furniture downstairs suggested an enviable lifestyle for anyone lucky enough to live here! I began to feel that this might just be possible after all! The house went back onto the market in April 2025, so a year after the initial launch. There were a healthy number of viewings and a couple of offers that did not progress, as so often happens at the moment. In early September, another offer was received. It was a complicated purchase and I was nervous to take the house off the market and accept the offer. Initially, buyers can only have an offer of 'a mortgage in principle': something I had learnt by then did not guarantee a mortgage offer. Although it was unusual, and must have been a difficult sell to the buyer, Sally and Nicole supported me and, with the buyers agreement, continued to market the house while a formal mortgage offer was obtained. During this time they also found a cash buyer who was keen to proceed quickly but, shortly after, the purchaser received her mortgage offer, which I accepted. During the conveyancing process, Mint Homes closely monitored how things were going and were proactive in keeping everything moving. It was a long, stressful and emotional time, during which I found the support from Sally, Nicole, and Sarah (in the office) made it bearable. They were patient with my many 'Have you heard anything from....' questions and kept me well informed. I found their use of WhatsApp invaluable because, if I thought of something, I could send a quick message knowing that, when it had been read I would get an answer. The story has a happy ending: yesterday, 7th January, 2026 the sale was completed and I have finally passed my parents' lovely home onto its next owner. The handing over process was smooth and sympathetic. I met Sally at the house to hand over the keys and go through final bits and pieces. It was really nice to feel that she was as delighted as me. As I sit and type this, I can smell wafts of mint in the air from the scented candle that Sally gave me as a 'thank you', but of course it is really me who should be thanking them. I would not hesitate to recommend Mint Homes to anyone wanting to sell their home, especially if it is special to them and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Sally, Nicole and Sarah for all their understanding, patience, help, professionalism and hard work over the past 9 months: Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: If Carlsberg did Estate Agents… Mint Homes are different to any other estate agents that we’ve ever come across. Their service and attention to detail were outstanding. Fantastic experience: Goodness me, where to start? Sally and Nicole from Mint Homes are by far the best agents we have ever met (and my husband used to be one!). We had originally been on with a well known and used agent, had the most terrible experience and they were unable to sell, and just kept trying to drive our price down without telling us anything about what they were doing to try and sell it. We even saw a young man come in for a viewing and he said nothing about the property which is an old character property. We took it off the market for near on a year. By the time we wanted to try again I was very pregnant and we were up against it time-wise. Enter Sally and Nicole… from the very first meeting, where they came to our home for over an hour to chat (noticing and appreciating the style of the property from the get go), they took the time to truly understand how we needed to approach the sale, and they worked what can only be described as magic. Their empathy and kindness drove them to help us quickly, and they absolutely smashed it. They had one day of 12 viewings, and we ended up with about 6 offers the next day - they made it happen, and put in the hard work to achieve it. It felt miraculous compared to our previous experience/agents. But it wasn’t miraculous, or magic - it was absolute skill, attention to detail, and a true care and passion for what they do. The property listing was eye catching and helped us to stand out from the crowd. Once viewings began, the marketing of our house was A1. Immediate feedback was provided after every viewing via a WhatsApp group and we went under offer in about a week. Thereafter they helped us to manage a long chain which was invaluable. They were always available via the WhatsApp group and I suspect that without Mint’s involvement, the chain wouldn’t have reached completion. Fantastic experience: When my wife mentioned about using Mint homes for our sale TBH I was reluctant to use a smaller company, what could they do to the level of the larger companies out there, they cant offer us what the big ones could... I have never been so wrong! From quote to completion Nicole and Sally where superb, the service they offered us was personal and professional, they more than exceeded our expectations, having 5 children they where adaptive to our needs and courteous throughout the process, never pushy when we couldn’t do a certain appointment. We had a steady flow of potential buyers who were not just thrown in to make up numbers. All buyers attended their appointments and like some of the larger companies we had used previously we had no ghost appointments, no salesmen pushing to get their own way. The valuation of our property was the right amount as we didn’t have to reduce it once. To any potential sellers, don’t be in the mind set like I was and think because a company is huge they will have more clients looking to buy, everyone looks in the same pool of homes, everyone has a a buyer out there and our home seemed very hard to sell, it’s how you present it and how the agents deliver it.
