Positive experience: First home purchase successful with Starkings & Watson! My sales progressor Janet was very prompt from the beginning and always communicated with me and kept me updated. She was a pleasure doing business with and helped me through the unknown for the first time. I did feel at times, when Janet was away, that my questions weren’t followed up on, on the property and I’m still left with some minor unknown questions that other agents said they’d find out and let me know so I feel somewhat disappointed in that regard. Fantastic experience: Janet and Daniel are 5 star agents- read on Background : yet another decent - landlord sale of a bog standard terraced Norwich house due to government renting nonsense making renting out unfeasible thus depriving a young couple and child of a cheaply rented home. Janet and Daniel, at both ends of this long drawn out selling process, managed to keep smiling and deserved the hard won accolade and bonus. SW could not be faulted but even they could not cope with a hopeless buyers solicitor from Kings Lynn - if this firm were farmers we would all starve as they checked every seed for no discernible purpose. So before selling folks and using ŚW, just check through with SW and the buyers who their lawyers are and their reputation. Sellers should not be at the mercy of awful solicitors costing you extra council tax, service charges, visit costs, risks of squatters, with every delay. On the selling side EG Law with a super - charged online legal process, if somewhat remote, is associated with SW and would be my choice.

Fantastic experience: I would like to really recommend buying through Starkings and Watson. They were extremely professional, but friendly. All the staff I had contact with from beginning to end were fantastic. Harry did the initial viewings with me, and knew about each of the houses. He didn't rush the viewings, particularly important as I was moving from Kent and not often in the area. I dealt with Carl for the negotiations and he was really prompt at coming back to me with updates straight away. In fact any time I called the office, if they weren't available at that point they would always call back very quickly. Positive experience: This is the third time we have used Starkings & Watson to sell our property. The sales team was faultless, and we could not recommend Carl and the team enough. We would not hesitate to use them for the sales side of things in future, but feel that the after sales let them down this time. There was a lot of miscommunication towards the end, and we felt that only receiving updates once a week (and only on a particular day of the week) for the majority of the transaction was not really sufficient. On two occasions, we were given poor excuses for not receiving a response to our email. We would like to shout out Sarah in the Brundall office who did go above and beyond towards the end of the transaction, and really helped to get things moving.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Starkings highly enough! Have used them more than once and they never fail to impress. Their service is impeccable and in stark contrast to the not so great experiences ive had with other agents. Jamie is highly efficient and keeps in regular contact with us. Harry is also excellent, both working for us as sellers but also in showing us round other properties he has been very professional and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Recently I was interested in a property that Starkings and Watson had been engaged to sell. I have found their service to be exemplary, and Harry Debbage who was managing this particular transaction was courteous, knowledgeable and human. I like the way in which the particulars of a property are presented, And the subsequent follow-up to visits. Although I chose not to buy the property, it was very much because of my needs rather than anything to the detriment of the property Starkings and Watson.

Fantastic experience: What should have been a simple sale, no onward chain, vacant possession and first time buyers became a long drawn out and at times made me extremely angry with the buyers conveyancers I believe the buyers were equally frustrated by them to. Throughout this Carl. Jamie and Caroline kept a clear perspective despite me venting my frustrations. They tried to speed exchange up but also ran into lack of communication from the conveyancers. In the end it all came together exchange on a Tuesday completion 3 days later. I thank them for their efforts and calming me down as we considered pulling out of the sale. Negative experience: Unfortunately our experiance of Starkings and Watson was overwhelmingly negative. The process started quite positvely with a rapid offer on our property but they were also dealing with the house we wished to purchase which is where their inadequacies were exposed. Extremely poor commuication from the sales progression team who never seemed to know exactly what was going on. We felt lied to and mislead thoughout and ultimatley cost us financially and mentally. Could never recommend and would certainly never use for a sale or purchase again.

I had marketed my property with two different estate agents prior to instructing S&W and neither of them were able to get me any offers. Fantastic experience: We found Starkings and Watson to be a great estate agent. All the staff were friendly and professional and were always willing to help. Our home sold in less than two weeks and the quality of the photos on our advert really helped. I will be recommending S&W to friends. The aspect I particularly liked about them was from a buyers perspective when we viewed homes with them they were not at all pushy which I think really helps when selling someone’s home.

Purchased out first house through S&W in 2020 and having recently sold and exchanged (following a buyer pulling out in May) the thought never crossed our minds to go with any other estate agent.
